4 Cancelled Appointments

I've had good experiences in the past with YourMechanic. Never using them again. I made an appointment for my son's (Jack Martin) car to replace an oil pressure sensor. They have cancelled the appointment 4 times in a row. Always the day of the appointment 1 or 2 hours before the appointment. First time no explanation. Second time, the mechanic actually showed up but with the wrong part. Third time no explanation. This last time, because of weather. We live in Southern California. It is sprinkling at times. We have a covered garage. I've had an appointment in the past (different car, different issue) when it was raining and the mechanic contacted us before the appointment to make sure he could work on the car in the garage. So not sure what's going on with this company now but will not use again.

Court papers delivered. need a response
Had a car problem. you guys would not fix your mistake. Took it to court and won a judgment (see papers sent last week). If no response we will need to place a lien (papers were served to company CEO) and that might increase final amount owed.

I called to have someone come to the house to see why my Check Engine light or service engine soon light came on. This was early around May 5th or so. Mechanic came out and then advised me as to what these codes meant and what it would take to repair my 2001 S-10 Pickup. On May 12th another mechanic was sent to do the repairs. He did some work and had to order more items (Distributor). He kept calling his supervisor on how to proceed. The distributor was defective, he ordered it again, and again and again. They wanted to install an OEM distributor that they could not locate or have shipped. on June 6th I received an email from the corporate headquarters that they are cancelling the remainder of the work to be done because they could not get the parts. Note that when I first set up the consultation, my truck ran pretty well, but the red lights on the dash made it impossible to be inspected, which was coming up soon. I attempted to drive my truck to the nearest auto repair place, but the truck would not run. I had to call and have it towed. Long story short, the new repair total came to over $750.00. Reason was that the distributor was installed INCORRECTLY. Also, one item that they ordered for the repair (windshield wipers were the wrong size and were on the front seat in the cab. That being said, this is what I want from Your Mechanic. *The towing charge of $110.00 seeing the truck was left inoperable. *The price of the pair of windshield wipers, $33.20. *Reinstalling the Incorrectly installed distributor, $136.36. *the labor charge to readjust timing due to the distributor be installed incorrectly. I am also sending the complaint the the Better Business Bureau.

Because their service is a Scam
Scheduled and Pre-PAid for up front The Oil change Service with Water Pump replacement. The Business establishment sent me a text 2 hours before the service stating they need to reschedule after I already took off of work. Called the establishment to see what the issue was and if they can render a discount of any kind for my inconvenience. The Customer Support Agent stated on the Phone stated If they cancel the service "YourMechanic" has the right to charge me an additional fee plus keep the money I paid. Asked Support agent for Manager or supervisor and they stated they have no number but will give me a call back. What kind of Mobile Fake Mechanic service is this. Recently used "RepairSMith.com" and that Mobile Service went smoothly with no issues. What kind of Business are you running here? Middle man non- Licensed Local Mechanic SCAM! Don't use this service Total SCAM!!!!

Left didn’t do anything
Mechanic shows up 30 minutes early which was ok. But this guy looked like he was homeless. A total joke to what I was told over the phone. The mechanic did not have the proper tools. Simply said this is not going well., then got in his truck and left. The most sorry display off a business , I have never witnessed in my life. I took off work to meet this Mechanic and his schedule. Not only did he show up 30 minutes early, but I received a notice that my credit card was charged in full of the amount that was agreed before he got out of his truck. I am disputing all charges and filing a compliant to the better Business of Tallahassee Florida. You're a joke of a business and need to be terminated. I'm totally in a mind of put you out of business mood. You're a joke. Taking this to the higher level of justice.

Lies by omission
They Replaced brake pads. 3 weeks later squealing, grind noise. They came back and told me I needed new rotors discs and more new pads! They are refusing to cover cost of the rotors /discs. The warranty supervisor was condescending and Told me they only did what I requested. I am not the mechanic - YOU ARE! What experienced mechanic replaces pads without inspecting the rotors?

My complaint was never addressed
They did not correctly install my steering rack. It took 125 dollars for another mechanic to fix. Never again.

Warranty Service Not Done
On Nov 27th a mechanic serviced my 2011 Cadillac DTS causing more issues,December. 8th reinspected by their mechanic, and he filed the quote stating was faulty repairs, causing my car to worsen and needed immediate service to fix it, I have called and emailed since with no response. Over 1000.00 dollars in repairs spent and they do not honor warranty nor return emails or calls.

I called to schedule an appointment to install new brake pads for the front brakes. Your mechanic sent a mechanic who installs new brake pads on top of a warped rotor. Then my tire rim is bent and now my tire rim was damaged, this was discovered by Pep boys mechanic. I went to Pep Boys and the mechanic inspected and discovered my back brakes need new brake pads, rotors, and capillaries. I had to replace the front brake pads and rotors, too. Now I have to replace a tire and now the tire rim was damaged by Your mechanic. Your mechanic refused to honor their own warranty for the installation of the front brake pads. Your mechanic is dishonest, poor customer service, and some of their mechanics are incompetent.
