Rude staff with no regard for privacy or safety.

Was told I had to leave my drivers license at the front where the girl left it for everybody to see. I asked her to put it away and she replied that nobody would steal it. Not good enough so I asked for it back and was told I could not use my three day pass without leaving it and she did not want to make a copy of it either. Not a great first meeting. I left and called back for a manager once I was calm and she answered acting as the manager. Awful staff.

Very slow response resolving problem.

After 4 months of calling, complaining and getting the run around, I finally received my refund. Getting a response and resolution from "Corporate" was very frustrating. Personnel at the local you fit gym were very helpful and concerned about resolving my issue. It was "Corporate" that was the problem.

I've been trying for 3 months to get a refund. Each time I call I get different answers as to when I'm going to get a refund. My membership was canceled within the time frame for refund. The local gym keep saying it has something to do with the compliance depth. I'm definitely getting a runaround. I will NOT refer this establishment to ANYONE I know.

Question concerning shoes

I have been a member of Youfit gym for approximately five years. Today May 6, 2023 when I went to the gym I was told at the front desk that the shoes I was wearing was not allowed. This is a problem for me since they are orthopedic corrective shoes. I was born clubfooted with one leg shorter than the other and I have only one pair of shoes to wear. These are the only shoes I can wear anywhere. I have difficulty walking without them and other shoes are not an option. I have had surgery on my left foot several times with the last one being approximately 40 years ago. I am happy that at almost 80 years of age I can walk comfortably most of the time. I am very physically active and enjoy going to Youfit. I have been going to a gym somewhere most of my adult life. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with my shoes. I would like to get this issue resolved to prevent more embarrassing moments in the future. Other gyms have welcomed me but I would prefer not having to make a change. I look forward to hearing from you to resolve this issue.

Lying thieves

I signed up for Youfit gym and became a member on January 6, 2023, on a month-to-month contract. They withdrew the initial fee of $15.14 on 01/09/23 and on 02/06/23 they deducted 53.49 for the annual fee from my checking account. On Feb. 20 I suffered an injury (non gym related) and asked if I could freeze my account for medical reasons and they agreed. But they made me sign a contract informing me that it would take 30 days to process, so I would have to pay for March in full and on April the freeze will take effect and will only be charged $5 for the next 3 months. March came around, and they deducted $42.79 as I expected. And now we are in April and I see that I wasn't charged the $5 but was charged the full amount. I called Youfit and was directed to speak to my local gym. I spoke with the rep and asked why I wasn't charged the $5. She said it has not taken effect yet and said it would start in May. I told her that is not what I was told and that is not what is on the contract. After going with her back and forth for like 10 mins. She said it takes 60 days to process. I was shocked, and told her the contract says it takes 30 days. I asked to speak to someone else and she hung up. Then, I called back and told her that I wanted to cancel my membership. She said I would have to come by to do that. I went over there and spoke with a gentleman about cancelling. He said it will cost $10 fee to cancel and it will take 30 days to process, so I will have to pay for May in full. I said okay and before signing the contract I asked him can I put the reason for cancelling. He then asked why. So I explained to him, it's because my account was not frozen when I requested it. Then the lady that I spoke on the phone came up and said that she explained to me over the phone that they made a mistake, and are trying to fix it. I told the guy that is not what she told me on the phone. I said I would like to continue to cancel and can he read to me what he wrote as the reason for me cancelling. He said he can't put a reason... I smhno.

Dissatisfied

My 15 year old signed up for a membership at one of your locations and used my card i found out i was being charged all this time wanted to cancel and only to find out that in order to cancel i have to be charge an additional 70 dollars, this company is a complete joke highway robbery and children should never be allowed to sign themselves up at a gym also the staff Shannon and John at the location on Smith Street north providence ri are horrible and should not be working in customer service at all.

Recent removal of older treadmills

Hello, My name is Alexandra and Ive been a member of YouFit in Greenacres, FL for 8 years or so. Some time ago, the treadmills were upgraded to better ones. Sadly, the upgraded ones have NO fan and NO tv! Fortunately, four of the older treadmills (the purple ones) remained and they are the only ones I used. Last weekend, the four remaining purple treadmills were removed from the gym. Ugh! I can live without the tv but the built-in fan on the machine is a MUST for me! I am a competitive athlete and have trained at YouFit for several triathlons, including a Half Iron Man. Currently, I am training to climb several high-altitude mountains, the first of which is Mount Kilimanjaro in September. I NEED a fan on the treadmill for my runs and long incline walks! I have expressed my dismay to several employees at the gym, including the manager. There are currently 18 treadmills in the gym. I am writing with a plea to swap out 4 of the upgraded treadmills to the 4 purple treadmills that were recently removed. If you were to ask the employees working at the Greenacres Youfit, you would learn that several members have complained about the removal of the purple treadmills that had a tv and fan. When speaking with the manager today, he told me that when he gives tours of the gym, he would say that the purple treadmills are for the leisure walker who wanted to burn of Thanksgiving dinner. Ummmwhat? I begged to differ, and explained that Im a competitive athlete who NEEDS the fan! Im NOT a leisure walker! I realize that my potential cancellation of membership is not going to hurt the gym but I am willing to pay more for another gym membership that has fans on all of their machines. Planet Fitness is just across the street. (My husband already switched from YouFit to Planet Fitness a few years ago simply because the water fountain didnt have cold enough water for his liking and also because paper towels frequently seemed in short supply) There is also a Crunch gym close to my house, as well as an LA Fitness. I am really, really hoping that the purple treadmills with fans will be brought back to gym. I love the gym, the people who work there, and the friendships I have made with other members. However, without fans on the machines, I will have to switch gyms. If you ask any of the employees, I am the girl who is frequently on the stairmaster for 1-2 hours with a 30lb backpack and hiking boots :) One of your front desk employees told me I was the 15th person to complain about the removal of the purple treadmills. PLEASE BRING THE OLD TREADMILLS BACK! Thanks for your time, Alexandra Cecil

Stealing my money

They are stealing my money and telling me lies I canceled my membership over 3 months ago and are charging me and also charged me for my yearly dues and I am not a member they owe me at least 96.00 this is at the Boca Raton FL at the Town Center Mall

A problem at one of your clubs

One of their personal trainers put me in the hospital. I called for a refund on my remaining sessions was given the ok then nothing happened. The new manager at the gym is refusing to help unless I contact a lawyer. They also never canceled my membership as I was told they were doing. Do NOT go to this gym. They have horrible customer service and untrained personal trainers.

No one here to open gym

it is now 540am and your gym is still closed no one is here to open gym hull street road in richmond va ..this has happened several times before at your midlothian branch .. there are several cars in parking lot and several cars that have already left

We keep complaining about how hot they keep the temperature at the gym but it never changes. We had to leave after we arrived and checked out two nearby competitors

Want someone to make the Davie, FL club cool. We like the gym except for this so we wish it could be fixed.

The location is dirty the bathrooms smell dirty always the bathroom stalls walls are never clean toilets are dirty..the sauna door is dirty and black dirt

Be aware of opening times

When YouFit took over the 24/7 gym club I belonged too they kept the 24 hour service for a bit. Now they have bank hours. What is worse is that they dont even open on time when they say they are going to be open. I miss Porkys.

Nasty manager with no interest in paying customers

I am a member at Youfit Boca Raton at Palmetto, and recently started commuting by bike. Its an expensive bike and I recently had one stolen. I asked on a front desk if I can bring one inside, and keep it on a side and they said yes. So today, I come to my bike and suddenly some person asking me if its my bike. I said yes. She became incredibly condescending and started reprimanding me how I cannot bring it inside. I was so lost. Is it a new front desk person? Why she is reprimanding me like I am a child who failed a class?! I explained to her that I am afraid that it will be stolen as it happened to me before, but she said that its not her problem. Literally! was so taken aback that I requested a cancellation of my membership and to speak with a manager. Well it turned to beshe is the manager! With ZERO customer skills, condescending, argumentative, arguing with a customer, not solution focused at all! I asked if I can bring it in a locker room, somewhere else, just to keep it save, her only answer was that no, it needs to be outside and its not her responsibility. She processed being rude and making faces as she is struggling through conversation. Well I am aware that Taylor Brady, THE MANAGER doesnt care, and has no interest to retain a client and try to help. At the end she refused to cancel my membership without me paying for extra month, and refused to print out my paperwork. Way to go Youfit!!!
