Purchase a flugelhorn

My flugelhorn arrived in excellent condition and I have been playing it daily ever since. I was curious as to status of my Yamaha mouthpiece I ordered on 8/21.

I purchased a blemished fluegelhorn. the pictures were a bit deceptive. when I received the fluegelhorn, the bell was bent and in the picture it looked discolored. I then found a level 2 flawed and

Fleugelhorn and it showed one blemish on a tube that was discolored. It was a level 2 damage. I requested that be my exchange. I received my excga get gleugelhorn amd it looks similar to the other one. It not only had the discoloration on the tube but a bemt bell as well. It did not come to le boxed as the first one did. I then took a look on the website to make sure they didnt just send my original fluegelhorn back! Now,they have a brand new fluegel Same model on SALE for 349.00!!! I paid 419.00 for a damaged fluegelhorn!!! Returned because the second one was suppose to be "less" damaved and it looks like tge same fluegelhorn!!! I have to perform with a fluegelhorn very soon in a concert!! I am highly frustrated. The policy is to send the one I want to return first!! Then I wait until they decide to release the exchange. I want the brand new fluegelhorn for 349.00 amd take the damaged one back AFTER I receive the brand new one and credit me the difference. I will return the damaged one but I need the brand new one asap! I really like ordering from this company however after going through this, I am considering looking elsewhere for my I strument and accessory needs. Dang, I dont want to though. People know when they are ja img a sale in advance amd it would jave been nice to receive a new product for less in the first place!

Return policy is unacceptable

I ordered a Gibson guitar case with the logo Gibson Gear but instead I received the case with just the Gibson logo without the gear on it. I was told that Gibson doesn't make that case with the logo Gibson Gear anymore. Which is fine. But, if I were told from the beginning that that case came without that particular logo, I wouldn't have ordered that case. Especially when I was told that the logo would show Gibson Gear. Now it's costing me some $46 to return it. Not fair!

Les Paul guitar case

I ordered the Gibson Les Paul case with the logo Gibson Gear. and received the case without Gibson Gear logo. Instead I received The case with just Gibson logo on it. When I ordered the case I asked if the case Had the Gibson Gear on it and was told yes. I called Woodwind to ask about receiving the case without the logo I ordered and was told it was an old photo that hadn't been updated. And to return it would cost me the shipping charge. Why should I pay for their misinformation ?

Incompetent & unconcerned sales reps, fraudulent business practices

LONG STORY SHORT: i pre-ordered a synth, then their "expected shipping date" was delayed, then i called and talked to a *** service rep who lied about several things and weaseled around in general, then shipping date changed again and i decided something was fishy here so i cancelled the order and (THANKS TO PAYPAL) was able to get my money back. DONT ORDER FROM THEM. im supposed to use more than 100 words here? okay.. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah there we go....

SEE A POSTED PRICE AT WWBW? WELL, DON'T COUNT ON IT!

Amazon 'Prime Day' listing took me to WWBW site and a great deal - except that after my order had been 'confirmed', they canceled it without notice or explanation. After multiple futile attempts to contact, I finally got an email explaining that the posted price was wrong due to a 'technical glitch' and they would not honor it. In the same email was a promise of a discount coupon, but they didn't follow up on that either. (As if I would ever do business with those folks again. Ha!) TWO subsequent letters to the corporate office (polite ones) have been ignored. Beware.

Baligerent customer reps, fishy coupon deals, lack of sale record

I attempted to make a purchase of a Korg synthesizer on Woodwind & Brasswind website using a coupon ‘WINBACK15W’, which was sent to me by the company in order to win me back. A few years back, I made a purchase on the site and then they went bankrupt, just to reemerge recently. However, things did not go as planned. I was not able to apply the coupon upon checking out, and the terms and conditions page was nonexistent, so I engaged in an online chat with the company rep named Lewis Davis. Upon checking on the situation, he told me that he has to apply the coupon manually and to give him a call. That sounded a bit weird, but I did call him promptly, only to reach his voice mail. I also found it strange that there is no ‘on hold’ *** for a sales person at the time. Not wanting to wait, I reinitiated chat and got another rep, who informed me that the coupon is not valid on Korg products. When I told him that Lewis Davis told me he would apply the discount over the phone, he stated I should communicate that to Lewis Davis and that he cannot do anything. When I inquired if this was all a scam, he got belligerent so I ended the chat. Later that evening I received an email from Lewis Davis, who stated he saw a chat transcript I had with another rep. He asked for me to call again, but I instead told him to just send me an invoice via email, so that I have the record, and I would sent him my payment info back. His next email was rather insane and very accusatory, in fact he was mocking me for wanting to complete the purchase without calling him. He also stated that he must do this over the phone, so that there isn’t ‘any record’ of sale. I simply wanted to warn my fellow shoppers about this, in hopes you will not waste your time on this web site. Things seem bit fishy, reps too, and bullying by the reps is something I haven’t experienced before. Needless to say, go somewhere else for your purchases. With this kind of customer service, this company will go bankrupt again soon and you will not be able to return any products. Buyers beware!

Woodwind and Brasswind company: Beware!

I purchased a Rock N Roller R2 Microcart on Amazon from Woodwind and Brasswind and by the next day decided that the unit was not what I wanted and decided to return it. I have come to depend more and more on Amazon for retail items because they are so convenient and competitive. Amazon is competitive in delivery times and pricing which includes shipping and, at rare times for me, returns. In fact, I have found that Amazon vendors have provided for free returns in the rare cases where I've decided to do so - that is, until my purchase of an R2 Micro Cart from the Woodwind and Brasswind company. Their return policy demanded that I pay return shipping + reimburse them for the original free shipping + incur a possible "return handling fee". The bottom-line is that it would have cost me about as much to return the item as the entire cost originally incurred: I paid $69.00 for the cart; return shipping via USPS was to cost $29. plus; so, reimbursement to them of original shipping probably would have also been $29 plus. And, when I wrote them to object they said pay the ridiculous costs of return or keep it! Thus, I had to keep the item and try to use or try to sell it. To return it to them would have been foolhardy. So, I will not deal with Woodwind and Brasswind again and I encourage all readers to stay away - unless, perhaps, you are certain you will not have to do a return!
