Spam, spam, and more soam

Emails literally every day. Who needs that many bakery products? Tried to unsubscribe TWICE. No effect. Tried to block. No effect. Tried sending to junk TWICE. I think I finally got the emails into junk with a workaround so will see if this stops the inundation of spam. Will NEVER order from this company again!

A complaint

I placed an order last night. I put the item in my cart and that was as far as I got. I went into chastity which I will never do again. 5 times I asked to speak to a human. Each time I got do you want to speak to another chat person. I got so made I told them to cancel the order. That chat business is not for seniors. Im

Late order

I placed an online order with Wolferman's on Jan 1 2023 for a birthday gift. The birthday was January 11th. Upon tracking the order I found out that it was damaged in transit and undeliverable. I contacted Wolferman's customer service on January 8. I asked that the package be expedited so that it would arrive by Jan 11th. The representative assured me that it would be here Jan. 10th. On January 10th I called to get the latest update and was told that it would not be here before January 12th. All of their customer service reps appear to be working from home and English is not their first language. None can provide more than basic information and none seem to be able to provide a number to their home office. Unless I receive my package on or before January 11th, I will never order from them again. I paid over $70 for a large gift basket. Terrible customer service!!!

Order delayed one week. Product will go bad credit my card cancel order

According to customer service rep my card was credited. Product delivered and recipient discarded contents due to package being held in Houston too long. I asked rep to tell yall to call me to reorder but havent heard back.

CAN'T TRUST THEM

I have shopped and shipped gifts for YEARS through WOLFERMAN's = to assume that everything was delivered as promised. THIS Christmas one of my recipients told me that they did not receive all that was mentioned in the packing slip. I immediately called WOLFMAN's to complain and was promised a new package would go out. NEVER DID! I called back - same promise but I wanted a MANAGER and was promised a CALL BACK and never got one. I tried again, no call back! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER purchase from them or their affiliate partners again. Embarrassed to give something that was not complete. IT WAS A GIFT WOLFERMAN'S! HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE IS BEING KIND BECAUSE I AM STILL WAITING FOR A MANAGER TO CALL ME -

Your hidden shipping costs.

I was placing an order tonight and when it came time to check out I noticed a $2.99 charge for shipping. I had entered a code for free ship. Had to call customer service. Turned out that starting on Nov. 23, there is an additional charge of $2.99 for shipping. My attempt to place order was on Nov. 16. I am considering reporting Wolfermans to the BBB. There was nothing about this in the fine print. Disgusted.

Order delayed

Order has been in w va for days. Got part if it .now my friend is going on vacation. Will not be there supposedly tomorrow when delivered. Take me off your list. I am done with your company.

Late delivery missing items and unwanted substitutions

2 weeks after supposed delivery. Items missing other items substituted when sender complained was told they were sending 5 packages of English muffins but instead received 5 loaves of muffin bread

Dissatisfied with food

The sticky pecan buns I ordered were terrible. Bun dry, thin buttery brown sugar on top tiny pieces of pecans not enough cinnamon I will not order from this company again.

Bad customer service

Placed an order several weeks ago to be delivered about a week. After a week, called CS and was told the delivery wouldnt be till a month later. No notification of the delay. The problem was a cardboard wrap. Didnt want wrap. Wanted the delivery. So rescheduled for a week. Still no delivery, called same thing - delayed no notification. Third time rescheduled. Still no delivery. CS couldnt give status of anything.

Quality of baked goods

Several weeks ago I received a generous gift of breads and pastries from a dear co-worker. It looked great but the taste did not match the look. It tasted more like card board. I called customer service and they were very understanding. To compensate, I received some brownies which I have yet to taste, I was just so surpirsed of the quality

Bakery items contain GMO’s - too expensive for that!

I purchased Wolfermans bakery items pick 6. I was very surprised once I receive the items, nearly everything was labeled that the product has bioengineered ingredients in it. For the price, this is completely unacceptable. It is also not displayed anywhere in their website when you look up food items. I posted my review on Wolfermans website but they deleted it. this is why am writing it here. Now lets get to the bakery items taste The scones are delicious. The English muffins, plain are delicious. I also purchased a cranberry citrus English muffin, that was not good, the flavor tasted like sage. if purchasing English muffins I recommend you stick to plain. The apple streusel loaf cake was OK. I believe its competitive in purchasing at your local grocery store bakery section. And thatll be much cheaper too. Purchased the maple glazed buns and cinnamon buns/rolls. The directions are to microwave it then let it sit inside a wrapper for a couple minutes. The time was not enough too soften the cinnamon rolls. The outside shell was still hard. Its better to get the Pillsbury kind. Hot and soft. I dont think I will ever purchase from them again.

Is This a Real Business???

I ordered a sampler for a friend for her birthday. It was never delivered (although I received an email stating it was delivered via FedEx). I called Wolferman's and was told the order would be reshipped. When I tracked the 2nd order it showed delivery via FedEx, but again it was not. Customer service was great; refunded my money immediately. The point is, what is up with this company? Is it a real company or what? IMO, I think it is a fake business. They are part of the "family" of 1-800 Flowers; Cheryl's Cookies, Harry & David, etc., all companies whom I have ordered from in the past and all have delivered their products. Wolferman's should be removed from this "family" of companies in order to save their good name and reputation.

Resolved: Problems with billing and customer service

A 20% off coupon, pretty much useless as it can't be used for sales. However, the persons who received the orders were very pleased. I had been asked to write a review before the deliveries were made..

The billing department, blocking of my credit card of part of my order while charging for another part. I did eventually get a call from a Wolferman's manager who seemed capable and pleasant. I have been assured, as first seemed the case, that I have not been charged for more than I ordered. However, despite checking with other departments, she was not able to explain why my credit card only worked for part of the order and subsequently won't work. (I have regularly used it with no problem .) As an apology?of sorts I have been sent a 20% off coupon. I find this odd as it would appear that sale items are already about 20% off and you cannot use it on sale items... Everything else I have looked at seems to me overly expensive. For me, in a sense, it is useless. However, I will add that one of my orders has arrived and the recipients are very pleased. Curiously of my 2 other orders I got an email awhile back that one was in transit, but it has not arrived. The other, an 85th birthday gift, I have not been notified yet about its delivery or transit as far as I can recall. Fingers crossed. While I am unlikely to order again, I would retract my review telling others not to do so with the advice that they check to be sure their payment has gone through and not to expect too much from customer service. User's recommendation: Products appear to be good, but proceed with caution re billing and patience with customer support.

Poor customer service and charing problems

On Jan. 21st I placed 2 orders from HAD*Wolfermans for my daughters for Valentines Day. A day or two later I placed one for my brother and his family. In the charges I made I signed on to pay for a subscription to their free delivery service for $29, I believe. The first problematical event was an email notice that my payment for the 3rd order had not gone through. Even though the charge card I used was functional, I was told I had to use another charge card, so I did. In fact, I later saw that one of the first orders had been charged to the credit card. As they were made at the same time I was confused as to why they both had not been processed. I became concerned that there may have been problems with the other orders, both of which had been confirmed by email. I checked my charge card statement on line and saw that only one charge had gone through. I then called the company and was assured, after much waiting and checking, that both orders had gone through. I mentioned that I only saw a charge for one on my account and asked that they please confirm that both orders were being processed. I was told I would hear the next day. I never got an email to this effect. Today I got another email saying my order would be cancelled in 24 hours if I didn't call. I called and after explaining the problem asked to speak with a manager. After a long wait I was told there was no manager available. I explained to the patient associate that I would wait for a manager and said I thought the problem with my charge card was on their end, as it worked fine everywhere else. Another wait. The associate came back on the line, seeming very pleased, and said I was right about the charge card and she was waiting for confirmation that it had gone through. When she confirmed it I realized she had charged me for $119 plus dollars. This amounted to what I would have paid for all the order, part of which I could confirm had been charged to my credit card already. Again, I asked to speak to a manager or business office and was put on hold. After 45 minutes I was told again that there was no one available. I said all told I had waited a long time and asked for a manager to call me. The poor employee was very upset and deserves a commendation for trying to deal with a problem that seems entrenched in the company. I see many other reviews about poor customer service. I feel in a tight spot as I would like the orders to be delivered and as I have been trying to sort this out for over a week I am not sure there is time to order elsewhere and get the gifts there. I have tried putting a review on YELP, but have yet to figure out how to post it. I will post it on a neighborhood communication site and set out a notice to my address book. Meanwhile: CHECK YOUR WOLFERMANS CREDIT CARD CHARGES AND EVEN IF YOU HAVE A CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER, DOUBLE CHECK IT AS THE SYSTEM SEEMS TO SCRAMBLE EVERYTHING! This is my first time trying to order from this company and it has been terrible disappointment and aggravation.
