Indians not taxed

This company is taxing the Indians. Tax in the US Constitution means charged. The Indians were not to be charged because this is the Indians land that the US is living on without paying the Indians. Now that the Doctrine of Discovery has been repudiated we have to go back to 1823. In 1823 the US walked away from their agreement to honor the US Constitution.

Get improve

It is painful to see Winn dixie losing customers by cutting staff because customers can not wait. I think that is not a good idea. We will not only lose customers but also decrease the sale. Especially in deli department. Why need more staff? First, we need to prepare the production like sub case, D & W case, and ready to heat case. Second, we need to be available for customers any second. Former manager make sure we cut cheese, meat to fill up D & W case, and ready to heat case every day. Sales increase. We have enough staff to serve customers and do the production. When customers satisfy, they will come back. Sale increase. Now, include the manager; there were three of us but most of the time, he is not on the floor. Then, just two of us. We not only serve the customers but also need to prepare the production. When there were not enough time to do all the case, the case is empty on that day; sales decrease. When there were three customers waiting in front of the counter, they walked away. Especially one staff gone for lunch. It is painful to see customers walk away. Also, they might not come back. At the result, we lost them; sales decrease. Day by day, the business drop and it is hard to climb back. I live far from Winn dixie, so I shop Publix for grocery. When I go in, it just felt pressure. A lot of staff ready to serve you and make you feel like to go back.

I didn't get my points

I always get good results when I call but what I would like to say is that our store in Marrero Louisiana is always hot its compressors are down all the time, so so a lot of time there isnt even food in there that people are looking for youll need to help them out and make the store up to standard so that we can shop there. Otherwise were gonna go to a different Winn-Dixie yard to help them out.

Complaint with Naples pharmacy

Updated by user Aug 13, 2023
Letter has been sent to the VP of pharmacy Gayle shields, eager to get a response.

Original review Aug 12, 2023
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter to express my sheer dissatisfaction and disappointment with the service I received at one of your Winn-Dixie pharmacies on August 12th, 2023. I have been a loyal customer to your pharmacy for years, having my prescription for AMPET/DETR E 30MG consistently filled since October 2019. This medication was prescribed to me by Dr. Paul Hemrick when I enrolled at Strayer University for my Masters in Science in Healthcare Administration, focusing on Clinical Management. Dr. Hemrick and I have worked hard to create a robust treatment plan, and your pharmacy has been an integral part of that. However, over the years, I have faced numerous issues with your service, ranging from insufficient staff to complete incapability to order certain medications. Today, a fresh episode in the saga of disappointments took place. When I went to collect my medication, which I have never paid more than $27 for, I was quoted a whopping $198. Even after my PPO BCBS insurance was accounted for, the price remained absurdly high. I then inquired if the discount through GOODRx had been applied, only to be told by your staff that Winn-Dixie does not use GOODRx for this medication as the company incurs a loss. This is both the first time I've been made aware of this practice and, frankly, seems like an unethical business approach, especially without any prior notice to your customers. When I asked if the medication provided was a generic, the staff affirmed it was. However, when I clarified that my prescription specifically required a generic, they abruptly stated their inability to order it, without providing any possible timeline for its availability. This leaves me in an extremely vulnerable position, facing potential health risks due to detox and withdrawal symptoms. How is it acceptable for a pharmacy of your stature and reputation to make such unilateral decisions, leaving the customer uninformed and jeopardized? Having been in healthcare for 17 years, I fully comprehend the business mechanics. However, I find it highly objectionable that customers are kept in the dark and are expected to bear the brunt of your internal financial strategies. I urgently request a comprehensive response addressing these concerns. Please ensure that I receive a communication by the 31st of this month. Patients trust pharmacies to provide them with the medications they need at fair prices, particularly when there are well-known discount programs available. I hope you will take this letter as an opportunity to review and rectify the mentioned practices and restore the trust that has been eroded. Thank you for your attention to this pressing matter. Sincerely, Jerjuan Toles

Feel sad

Almost every time I leave the store at 3800 N Ocean Blvd, Ft Lauderdale FL, I feel sad & kind of devalued. I always say hi to the cashier & am always friendly. On 08/06/23, I had the most unfriendly customer service rep ever. Cecelia. Crabby. Didnt say hi, didnt tell me the amount - just stared at me & looked at the screen, didnt say thank you, basically didnt acknowledge me, even when she was screaming over me to another co worker. Im guessing they are union, really dont need to care. Wont get fired, figured out the system. She needs to out of the public eye & doing a job, complains the entire time, behind the scenes. I used to do all my shopping at Winn-Dixy, just only when theres a sale item. Place has really gone down hill. There are a few consistently nice people at the store, but only a few

Extremely poor meat quality

My wife brought home a Black Angus bone-in Ribeye steak and it was so tough that I could barely cut it. This is not the first time this has happened with their highest quality steaks. It is a coin toss as to whether you will it a good or bad steak. I have never had a bad steak from Publix or Costco. We will never purchase beef from Winn Dixie again. If you want a decent steak, I suggest that you purchase it somewhere else. Winn Dixie is owned by South Eastern Grocers so avoid any of their grocery stores.

Complaint

I visited Winn Dixie 5210 Norwood Ave Jacksonville, Fl today and when I went to pay at the cash register I had other things in my hands. I laid the money on the counter. The cashier told me I was being disrespectful and I needed to put the money in her hand. Is this a Winn Dixie policy or is it just this store?

Employee

Hello, I have a complaint about a employee. She has been drinking on the job and has been taking xanax which she does not have a prescription for. She seems off and a bit erratic. I have experience with her first hand and I am worried that she might be messing things up because of her drinking. She is the assistant manager and should be setting a better example. I am just worried about her well being and I hope she can get it together. Her name is Tamitha Ronan. Thank you for listening to my concerns

Hires convicted felons

Store manager doesn't do background checks, in an elderly community. I called corporate office, and they obviously don't care. The store manager is very closed minded and ignorant, and treated me horribly.

Rude cashier JULIA @ 14600 Palm Beach Blvd Fort Myers FL

I'm putting this review in for a friend who happens to be a senior citizen and is given "GRIEF", every time he goes to the Winn Dixie located at 14600 Palm Beach Blvd Fort Myers, FL by the cashier named JULIA!!! Today he went in for orange juice and a can of canned pumpkin. He often uses his medicare healthy benefits card to pay for his items. Today, she told him that it doesn't work and that he needs a PIN to use the card, which is NOT true! She ended up calling the store manager, who touched ONE BUTTON, and she said, OH! Of course the transaction went through. But when he said he wanted to attach the sale to his account, JULIA said, IT'S TOO LATE! So, he missed out on the discount for his orange juice, because the discount expires tomorrow!!! All because this JULIA who is constantly RUDE to him, doesn't know how to do her job! Maybe JULIA should put some time into LEARNING HER JOB, instead of giving "GRIEF" to customers!

POOR QUALITY!

Poorest quality of all chains, meat full of water and produce half rotting. They used to call themselves "The Beef People" That's laughable. Now they sell the lowest quality meat in any major chain anywhere. The idea of trying to deceive people by stating in their ads that most of their beef is "Govt. inspected"...like that is some sort of bonus.. All beef in this country is inspected if it's sold at a major grocery store. The fact that theirs doesn't even make the lowest grade of "choice" should tell you something. Why try and deceive people? Their ground beef has enough added water to fill a glass, their hams are miserable and full of water, I just bought one and it is nothing but fat, tendons, bone and WATER!! An insane amount. Their chicken is 1/4 skin and 1/4 fat 1/4 bone. I have family that worked for this company for over 25 years then retired. I have stories that make your toes curl. But I digress... Every store brand product that I have ever tried is a fail. Their produce spoils quicker than Aldi's and time after time they try and pass off half rotting onions and potatoes and cucumbers etc. I only go out of desperation when I am in need of a few things. They are just a block away. But I am done with them. I will drive the miles to PUBLIX and spend more for at least far better quality and a strong money back satisfaction guarantee. If Winn Dixie thinks throwing money at remodeling their stores, which they desperately needed, will make up for their high prices and the low quality on almost everything they sell, not too mention the highest egg prices of all the stores chains, they are mistaken. They will fool a few but not me, not anymore. I AM DONE! If you are from out of state and new to Winn Dixie chains, try to avoid them. They have gone so far downhill in quality it is a crime
