Start of Service

I just moved into the area. Whitetail was very responsive to my multiple inquiries unlike the competition. I paid the quarterly bill and rcvd my toters in 2 days and pickups resumed the same week. I leave additional cardboard knocked down flat next to my recycling and they pick up with no issue. EZTDBW, that means, EZ to do business with!! Keep up the Good Work!!

Waiting three weeks for recyclables to get picked up.

Three weeks, three calls per week and still no recyclables picked up. I was told to put them out the next day and they would get picked up. Still not picked up.d

Complaining about recyclables not getting picked up for three weeks.

Recycle truck picked all our neighbors trash but missed ours for the past three weeks. Called to report this issue and was assured they would pick up today. No truck ever came.

After six months still no refund

Someone from Whitetail disposal came to our development to our house looking for business. So we decided to switch to Whitetail after that. We paid up front to start their service. Week after week we pit trash out which they NEVER picked up. After numerous calls to them they told us they do not service our area. So we requested a refund of our money, which they said they cannot do until they come and collect their cans. So again month after month they did not come to collect cans. Finally after three months and numerous calls they got their cans. It has now been another three months and we still have NEVER received our refund. It seems to me this is not only unethical but illegal for them to keep our money for 6 months and counting, when they have never once given us any service! They should be forced out of business!

Bulk pickup

I've called on 5 different occasions about 5 different items and they always claim that they don't pick these items up. It's ridiculous!

Unsatisfied

When I started with WhiteTail I did so because Republic was soooo expensive. With WhiteTail I paid $69 every 3 months. Now its $102 every 3 months. Im disgusted that we pay these crazy prices FOR TRASH!!! Im looking into doing away with any kind of trash pickup. Ill come up with something.

Truck destroyed my 3 day old landscaping projec

Brand new road/driveway with new landscaping. Three days later it's destroyed by the trash truck and we cannot get anyone to call us back or respond to our emails. This landscaping project was a long time coming for us - I'm sickened!

Sales Man Lied

Sales man came to my door asked me to switch service for a guaranteed quarterly rate of $60 ($20 a month) and was told the price would be locked in forever and cannot change as I would be grandfathered in. Was told the company was family owned and prides themselves on never having to change their rates. Their website & Statements used to even say they have maintained the same low rates for many years. Obviously this was a bait and switch. As soon as they signed up thousands of customers at $60 a quarter, they then raised rates on everyone. I started at $60 a quarter and that only lasted 6 months now I am paying $102 a quarter. ***

Salesman lied, no support after the fact

Salesman came to my door to ask me to switch services. I was looking anyway and he offered what seemed like a good deal. Being that garbage disposal should really be something you don't think about I didn't think it a big deal. Salesman brought to my attention that the "cancellation fee" that my prior service charged is bogus and would not apply. Was very pushy that the fee would not apply. Well, guess what. It applies. I am literally getting charged more than 6 months of service through whitetail disposal to cancel my prior service. I bring this to the attention of whitetail customer service and they are of zero help. STOP LYING TO CUSTOMERS

A good response from Whitetail il disposal

A good response from Whitetail disposal im sorry I did not go with them but after a few weeks they did refund me my initial start up charge and destroyed my check They did not charge me a cancellation fee thats a good start maybe after time and review and hearing good reports like this I might try them again This is response to my other review this is my update good job Whitetail disposal

We switched because it was sold as a family owned business. I have never written a review, but this company stinks at every aspect of the business.

Never pick up on time. Customer service is inconsistent. No one seems to be on the same page. Have waited for days for promised pickup. THEY ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER HAD! DO NOT SIGN UP!!!DO NOT

Trash cans in street

It is SO frustrating that EVERY SINGLE WEEK, when they pick up my trash, they leave the trash cans in the street. I leave them on the sidewalk for them. Why can't they put them back on the sidewalk. NOPE!! They leave them in the street, in the middle of my parking space. I live in a neighborhood that everybody parks in the street. But there are PLENTY of sidewalks. And they KNOW that everyone parks in the street. Every week when I get home from work, I have to park in the middle of the street with my flashers on, until I move the trash cans out of the way, so I can park. EVERY.SINGLE.WEEK.

Poor and untimely service

Absolutely worst service Ive ever paid for. Service is in quotes because they do not provide any service unless begged to do so. Week after week we must call several times to get our trash picked up. We moved in August and chose Whitetail for the price but it is simply not worth the small savings when you account for the time, effort, and frustration to get the service youre paying for. The worst part is the complete lack of accountability every rep and supervisor but one person I have spoken to exhibit. They are rude and unhelpful. I havent seen any change or action to resolve constantly being missed for pick up. I have memorized the menu options on their operating system since Ive called so many times. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNLESS YOU WANT TO INTRODUCE MORE TRASH AND FRUSTRATION INTO YOUR LIFE. Latest example of the pile up on our curb for proof of incompetency. That doesnt account for whats piling up in our house since its been 3 days since our scheduled service day.

They don't even deserve 1 star!!

I recently moved and the previous tenants didn't put the trash out. I called them to take the 2 bins that were there. After 3 weeks they came empty them and left them there. I called again said I'm on the pick up list. After another week they brought 2 more. Now I have 4 empty bins. Another week called them again they said I'm on list for pick up. After 7 weeks and 4 bins still out the end of my driveway we called again!!! The lady on the other line was screaming at me. After the screaming match she hung up. They are idiots. I would never get them for trash disposal. Even talking to the pick up guys for trash they couldn't believe it either. That woman I talked to on the phone shouldn't work there. She doesn't know how to talk to people. Very rude and stupid!! I would not recommend them at all

Read before Signup With Whitetail Disposal Serivce

Whitetrail Disposal Service is a _____ my service was supposed to start in October 2022 Ill call to cancel my service about three weeks before getting started and they are still charging me $75 for cancellation. If you have not started service yet, Dont start it because they will bill you regardless if you change your mind A three day change of mine Policy which I never received, in a welcome letter. So if youre signing up, you need to understand what youre being locked Period. (I could understanding charge for the container that were Deliver 4 weeks ahead of time) So I will stay with my old service and pay More. Thank You.

This Company is Trash

No pun intended. I have been with this company for 6 weeks: 1) Never sent me any info with my account number, rules of what can be disposed of, etc. 2) Took 1 month to send me a recycling bin 3) Take 2-3 days to respond to email, 15+ minutes to answer calls 4) Have picked up my trash, without me having to call, ONE time out of 6 weeks
