The wegmans coffee pods

I bought several boxes of coffee pods From wegmans and every pod didn't Dain coffe only hot water very frustrating and waste of my money

Customer Service

I shop at the Chili Ave location. Over the last few months I have seen a major decline in customer service, especially at the checkout. The employees are very unsocial and, in some cases, just plain rude. They act like it's a major inconvenience to be at work. Don't take your miserable attitudes out on the customer. Get a new job if you're not happy!!! Needless to say, I will be shopping at alternative grocery stores.

Horrible customer service from one employee

My complaint I am a veteran instacart worker earning money for wegmans and instacart as personal shopper over 2 years at this location and have never been treated so rude here . I was completing a very large order for wegmans instacart customer in search of the diary manager seeking a special milk and was approached by an employee Annetta very rudely yelling at me to stay away from the dairy door - get out of there - you cant be there - that is for employees only across the isle . The dairy manager has always been very nice and helpful finding items for me as needed and stated to me to peek in to seek him out if he wasnt on the floor. We work together to ensure our wegmans customers get all their items as needed . As I did so Annetta her name is proceeded to come out of an isle yelling at me to get out of there (I wasnt in the back I just peaked in looking for dairy manager ) she was rude and very unprofessional in front of the whole store not even asking me what I needed. I finally noticed the manager at the cheese case he helped me but I have never been spoken to or treated so poorly at this store or any store while working completing orders. Totally disrespectful to me as a customer I always am respectful to everyone while I work . I know many of the employees here amd have great relationships here after doing this for 2.5 years I am here to earn money for wegmans and to be yelled at in that manner was disgraceful She didnt even bother to kindly ask if I needed anything or if I was looking for something thats she could help me with. None of that !!! I hope she gets a speaking to about how to treat customers for fellow workers in the store. Annetta is not professional in any manner in my opinion Horrible customer service if I was manager I would place her in the back off the floor she should not be working with customers directly (that would most likely better suit her position )

Mold in a package of Yukon Gold, mashed potatoes

on 15 May, I purchased a package of Yukon Gold, mashed potatoes from Wegmans in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Today I go to prepare them and I remove the sleeve and see a large spot of mold, growing in the package. I checked the expiration date, which is 15, June 2023. I return the package to the store when I got to the customer service desk they told me they wouldnt exchange it that I purchased it too long ago and the expiration date was close even though its 10 days away from being expired. all I wanted was to get a new package of Yukon Gold Nash potatoes and they wouldnt exchange it for me. I have been purchasing from the Hunt Valley Wegmans since they open their doors and I have to say if thats how they treat a good customer that I will do nothing but smear them as best as I can, including, standing outside the store and telling people not to buy from them.

Disappointed loyal customer

4/19/23 Im a regular customer at wegmans, love the store, great employees, food always fresh, I have been to many different locations. They never fail to please. But today I felt that I was racially profiled. ( I am an African American older woman ) Went through self checkout line I was the only one checking out on that specific side. There were other customers checking out in the other self checkout line on the other side. The employee came and stood directly in front of me as though she thought I was not going to scan all of my groceries mind you in the past there have been times when I overlooked scanning an item and made it a point to take the item back into the store in order to pay for it. Im not the one to steal, Felt very disrespected. Im sure over the past years Ive spent thousands of dollars at wegmans. Not a good feeling and disappointing. I did watch for a while to see if anyone else was watched, but after I was all checked out the employee who was watching me walked away. Im an honest person. So while she was watching me someone was probably stealing.

Local store

I have ordered a fruit bowl from Wegmans for years. Never a problem. Suddenly, they dont want to make it. I cannot have pineapple, so I order it without. They refuse. They tell me to order it over the phone and pick it up. When I get there, theres no order. I have been told that its wasting fruit, that its against the law to replace fruit, or pick up fruit with your hands, they dont have the staff to make it, they dont have to make it in they dont feel like it, etc. This is the Fairmount New York store. I was told by a manager named Dave that he would make it for me and come back in an hour. I came back he was nowhere to be found and there was no order , he sent someone up to take care of it for him who refused to make it. Finally he gave in & he would but instead he went over to produce and grabbed someone named queen and they both ganged up on me verbally. They both said queen was the produce manager, which was a lie. They yelled so loud at me that three people came up to me in the store to ask if I was OK. Finally, he made the bowl and I left. Now Im trying to get another one and Im going through the same thing. Hung up on by store, managers, laughed at called names . I was told sometime ago that they were going to have one 800 Wegmans block me and I am blocked. No one cares. I emailed Wegmans, the CEOs office and was ignored. When did Wegmans decide the customer service its no longer important?

Disappointment

Several years ago Wegmans decided to upgrade they're so skins and remove the ability for the machines to accept cash citing that there was a decline in cash sales. I called and complained immediately this is specifically about the location in Westwood Massachusetts. This is the poor excuse I was given. Good morning Robert, Thank you for taking the time to contact us and share your concerns. We apologize for the inconvenience of discontinuing cash payment at the self-checkout registers. Over recent years, we have seen as a company, a decline in cash transactions. We have found that customers are using payment methods that offer a seamless checkout experience such as Credit, Debit and mobile payment options. Because of this we have made the decision to no longer accept cash at our Self-Checkout terminals. We will still be offering cash transactions, including cash back, at our staffed lanes and Service Desk. We welcome your feedback and we will pass it to our corporate team that is gathering data on this remodel. We value you as a customer and hope to continue serving you. Sincerely, Amanda Customer Care Specialist The neighboring Target store still accepts cash at this self checkout registers. I only go in Wegmans with no other store has a particular item I need for a special occasion. Currently Wegmans is the only supermarket chain in Massachusetts that does not offer the ability to accept cash at a self-checkout terminal. All their other competitors except cash at self checkout despite how many people actually use cash at self checkout. It should just be a courtesy to do so.

Pharmacy Trooubles

I have a prescription for a name brand medication because I do not tolerate the generic. I have approval from my doctor and my insurance provider for the name brand. Wegman's keeps contacting me saying the name brand will now cost me $2000 a month! I have had my insurance and doctor fax over the approvals over 2 weeks ago. They each have done this more than once, and I am still without the medication. It has been a huge hassle and worrisome that I have run out of the medication. One of the pharmacist, Chris M is so snarky when you ask him questions. It is as if you woke him from a nap and robbed him of his precious sleep. After 2 and 1/2 weeks with this nonsense by Wegman's pharmacy on Titus Ave, I have canceled all my prescriptions with them. The lines are always super long to get medication, and every time I go to pick up my medication they seem to have several technicians standing and chatting with each other without helping customers waiting in line. One time it took five people to help with a cash register problem while the line grew longer. Three were just standing there looking at the others. The other two were seemingly taking care of the issue. It seems like a fair number of technicians lack very basic knowledge and lack comprehension skills to be effective. Ditto for the general cashiers. hen you get to talk to them.They have to go find a manager to help them with the simplest things. It's very sad for our society. I am very disappointed with Wegmans. As a matter of fact, the overall shopping experience has gone way down hill since COVID. I am taking my business elsewhere. Danny has had enough of my hard-earned money. The big vibe I get from Wegmans is that it is a monopoly and greed is their first concern, not the customer anymore

Correct Wegman's advertised price-change policy...

Wegmans posts "good thru date" discount price advertisements for selected items in their Medford, MA store but prematurely pulls these prior to the posted dates. Is this false advertising?

Never heard from Wegmans. Would have liked refund. Haven't/won't order prepared food again. Not the first incident of TOO DAMN MUCH SALT.

Obnoxious music

Is it a club or a grocery store??? The music in my Wegmans is so off-putting I cant hear myself think much less my husband asking me a question while standing right beside me! Its especially loud and obnoxious in the produce department for some reason and the music selection is so inappropriate, something youd expect to hear in a club, or even a gym, maybe. A bit quieter, easy-listening format would be so much more conducive to a pleasant shopping experience. If theyre hoping the music leads to shoppers spending more time or money, they are sadly mistaken. When Im there I quickly grab what I need and get the *** out of there before I have a pounding headache! I will get most everything I need at Tops, Aldi, TJs, Dash and/or Whole Foods and just fill in at Wegs with what I cant find from these much calmer stores. This has been going on for years. I have tactfully complained to the manager to no avail so clearly they no intention of remedying this unfortunate situation.

SALTY HERB STUFFING

I had called to see if they were preparing herb stuffing. Last year it was 50/50 that it was too salty. Today it was SO salty that it was also SOGGY from water retention. Stove top stuffings have less salt and more flavor. Deeply disappointed in their inconsistency and poor preparation.

Complain about one of your employees

Sharon at Wegmans customer service desk in Waugh Chapel , Gambrills , Md was extremely rude. I had been charged twice for a bunch of grapes. After explaining to her what had happened she walked away. Came back and said did u call this in ?No I did not. Why do u ask ? Because most people call immediately to let us know . U could have bought 2 bunches . I responded that I bought 1 bunch. She pretty much suggested I was lying . I was so taken back . Hours later I am still upset. And she is the face of Wegmans ? She reluctantly gave me the credit and said have a nice day ! Subsequently 2 young men went out of their way to help me. One in the meat department and one that was stocking shelves. They both stopped what they were doing to answer my questions. That should be the face of Wegmans not the grumpy old woman in customer service.

Rude customer Service Manager

I simply asked to exchange an item and the woman with the short red stripe hair barks at me if I have a receipt like I'm a bothersome moron. I have no idea why certain people choose fields like this that require some level of patience. I understand that it's hard on these employees but this was the Customer Service Manager at the East Rochester Wegmans. All other employees have been very nice there.
