Weddingwire itself is a scam
It's rare that I resort to writing scathing reviews, but my experience with WeddingWire has compelled me to share my discontent. This platform, which promises to be an ally for those navigating the often stressful realm of wedding planning, fell dramatically short of its promises and failed to deliver on almost every count. First and foremost, the information and statistics they shared during the sales process were, to put it bluntly, misleading. They painted a rosy picture of success and reliability, which in reality turned out to be a mirage. Such deceptive marketing tactics raise serious questions about their credibility. Moreover, when faced with genuine concerns and issues, their response was abysmal. I reported fraudulent contacts, expecting swift action and a rectification of the situation. Instead, I was met with a wall of silence and indifference. It's appalling that a company, which thrives on the trust of its customers, would be so dismissive of their genuine grievances. Furthermore, the support mechanism they purport to offer is practically non-existent. My account manager, who I was told would be my point of contact and support, disappeared after the sale. Later, I found out they weren't even with the company anymore. This lack of continuity and transparency is unacceptable for any service, let alone one that deals with events as significant as weddings. In summary, WeddingWire's services are overshadowed by their misleading marketing, lack of genuine customer support, and a seemingly indifferent attitude towards genuine issues raised by their users. I'd urge potential users to think twice before getting entangled in what might end up being a frustrating and fruitless endeavor.avoid weddingwire

Not satisfied with makeup artist
On Sunday I have took a trial suggested by a makeup artist through your site. I liked her hair styling and her face makeup was ok. Paid 8k advance and booked for 4 events. After coming home my skin was getting irritated and got allergy and reported the same and wanted to cancel all the events for the same reason since I didn't wanted to take risk. She is not returning my money that I have paid in advance nor she is doing one day makeup look and It's not been 24h I reported my concern

Wedding wire sends leads which they broadcast to all caterers. I have responded to so many of these leads where the clients had no idea that they had contacted me whatsoever. After 6 months of these useless leads I uninstalled their app. Also when I contacted customer service it took them 2 weeks to respond. But once I cancelled payment they contacted me in less than an hour.Stay well away from these people.

Wedding pro and the knot are a scam lost $3600
If you want to lose all of your money in one spot. Dont go to the casino go to wedding pro and advertise with them. I have over 100 leads, most were fake, 2 were real but had a budget so low I wouldve lost money had I met to give an estimate. $300/month for 12 months. Check out section 22 of their terms before signing up for the scam Wedding lead service. They have that whole section dedicated to lawsuit. Run from this company as they are a worse scam than angieslist or home advisor looking to take money and screw you as much as possible.

They have a complaint posted about me from a customer. No way to respond to it, no way to contact them except by email which was ignored twice, AND they have the review still up on their site after 7 years! Horrible service.

Attention anyone who has a contract with Wedding Wire
If youre looking to cancel your contract early with Wedding Wire, you will not be able to do so. But in speaking with customer service, I learned that if you dispute the monthly charge with your credit card company, Wedding Wire will cancel your contract. You will not be charged for the remaining months in your contract. This is NOT something they tell you upfront. I found this out when they renewed my contract for another year.....automatically!Save yourself some money, and dispute the charge with your credit card company now!
