WEB.COM IS A SCAM!!!

I signed up for a one month trial of web.com for $2.95. I immediately went into my account and cancelled automatic payment option to ensure that I would not be charged any more than that. I determined that I did not need a website and never used the account or set anything up. I was still charged $32.95 three weeks later. Confused, I emailed them and was told that I needed to call to cancel and receive a refund. Fine.. I ended up calling a couple of weeks later (I did not log in or use the account at all during that time period). I have a home daycare and finding time to make phone calls is extremely difficult for me. I called and though they tried to talk me out of cancelling, eventually I was advised that they would cancel the account, but then they told me that they would not refund me because it had been more than 5 days since I was last billed. NO ONE TOLD ME I HAD TO CALL WITHIN 5 DAYS. Why would they not include that in the email response advising me to call?? And, when I inquired as to why I was charged in the first place when I had disabled automatic billing, I was advised that that was just for the DOMAIN.. (SNEAKY) and they could still bill me for whatever other (imaginary) services they had supposedly provided (which is NONE, I didn't even use the thing). What a sleazy, slimy and dishonest company this is. I am completely disgusted by the way that they do business and would advise anyone else considering building a website to avoid these scammers like the plague.

Web.com are Scammers : They charged me 114.00 after supposedly were not going to charge anything until a web site was up and running, I gave the sales person on the phone all kinds of info how and what I wanted... she was just a "yes" person... their phones get answered in Canada and their corporate offices are in Jacksonville Florida... You have no way of getting real help once you sign up... they take your money... You never get to review your so called Web site, first...I have no idea how to even find it... and they have the nerve to tAKE your money ...for NOTHING !! I have contacted the attorney general.. in their area.. I trusted CNBC on TV and they never should let this company advertise...

Angry Affiliate

I sent them a ton of new sign ups. I earned $4400 in the span of 2 weeks and they refused to pay me. It cost me over $2000 of my own money to get the traffic to their site. They claimed that the traffic was not very good because "it from poor counties". I just want the money I am owed or at least what I spent in media buying costs. They are unprofessional and refuse to respond to any of my attempts to reach out. I am sure they do this to other affiliates. I advise everyone to stay clear of these crooks.

Websites servers go offline several times a day

My website, and the other websites on the same server, are down several times a day. There servers are terrible and whoever the admin is should be replaced by someone who knows how to keep the servers running. Just last night my website was down for almost an hour..I checked the ip address and all the other sites on the same server were down too. And now today they are down again....it's been at least 5 times in the last 2 days! C'mon man give me a break! I am trying to run a business... Maybe I should switch webhosting companies to a more reliable one... Webhostinghub.com SUCKS!

Web Hosting Hub Lack of Service

Seems they don't care about customer support… in general techs seem to have a I don't care attitude, not much help with products if you a newbie working on websites. Might be good for a experienced person working on a website, but if you have only a little experience. After not much help from the staff, I talked to a manager, after a short while with him… I got the same results. Unsatisfactory Customer Service; Wal-Mart does a better job at customer service. STAT AWAY from WEB HOSTING HUB.
