Bad business

We were not happy with the way our personal experience with this dealership was going, it started great, but then we hope to give a good review. We're hoping that this business transaction gets better quick. Updated Elliott got the drain field and septic in today! Maybe they actually can get this done! I'd love to update review with 5 stars! Crossing fingers!

Ignored by Chris pashall and lied to continually

He sold me a house. Lied about the price. Put on my land and charged 6,400.00 for improvements that already existed like water septic and electric. Charged all that money for hook up which I found out on my cost around $1000.00 to $1,500.00 and won't provide a broken down list for each item. Was improperly installed in 2018 provided an engineering report from my insurance co. Stating so and started sinking on one side after 10 months of living there. Which caused problems ever since with the air conditioning leaking. Lied about how old air unit was. Come to find out it had a leaking coil pan. Have had to live in a toxic smell which has made me sick. I wrote him a letter my lawyer advised me on. Saying that he had to fix it and level it and the fl statues have been extended. He got the letter from me explaining this He finally came in June of this year. Hasn't called back to talk about it since. I called him Monday the 12th of September.. He said he would buy it back. But then said I should hold out for more money. But I thought about it and called back for him to buy it. He said he would check into it again before he committed to a decision on that day or the next Tuesday. He never called back. I called them. No answer that day. Called Wednesday, again no answer to my call. The walls have cracks and spaces in them where roaches and insects are invading making me pay for costly insects sprays every month. Spaces behind kitchen cabinets. Have had to continuously caulk and repair behind fridge and stove. Refrigerator always breaking down and freezer. Ice maker doesn't work. Dishwasher stopped working one week into living there. Always taking care of other customers instead of me. Baseboards are falling apart, looks like there made if cardboard. This experience has been a living nightmare day in and day out for four years and still no answer. My mortgage company is about to take my home if I don't come up with $482.78 by the 30th of September. They have been nice in working with me. I've applied for mortgage assistance on 9-12-2022. But they help may not make it to me by that time. I'm hoping they will let me wait till the 3rd of October to pay additional $682.78. then owing $482.78 with help from a mortgage relief program. I'm in the process of selling and want to leave this mess behind. I feel I have been played over and over again by this man. Unwilling to help me in a timely matter. The morgage went up from $639.95 to $652.35 in July. Then the morgage company 21st Morgan paid twice for the flood insurance and saying I owe now $682.78 from now on. Saying due to escrow shortage of $27.43. paying$164.60 now. Charging $518.18 a month for p,&I and adding $440.00 for ajusted flood insurance which I only approved for $428.00. which is being ajusted. Plus adding in their own estimate of taxes of 434.88 now when the tax bill isn't due till November of 2022 which I received a letter for the taxes estimated to be only$119.37 for proposed Budget change. Making the payment from now on to be $682.78. a difference of $42.83. but sty listing in their projections for coming year of still only taking out $137.17 a month for escrow. So I ask why am I paying a shortage amount in escrow if there still keeping it the same as always. And why are they estimating so high on the taxes. When there not due till November. And making me pay a higher amount for the morgage companies mistake in paying a double fee on the flood insurance. I'm having a very hard time trying to figure out why a company that Chris says has been in business for almost ,30 years would take so long to help me fix the problem and took four years to be heard. And all of a sudden the morgage company now since I contacted Chris pashall about this in June is seeming to make it more difficult for me to get caught up. Because I got short one month because of having to pay for repairs and items to prevent the insects from evading my bed and aren't even able to sleep in it. And now no air conditioning in 90 degree whether living in an oven of heat. That even the oven has roaches living in it. And under the counter tops. That I have to caulk up. That no one seems to care if understand the issue at hand and Chris pashall saying it's not as bad as you think. The morgage company has been understanding up till now. And am hoping they can hold on and not force me into forclosure and leave.me homeless on the street with no options to even wait for me to find a buyer. Which Chris pashall said he would by back. Even Wayne frier in live oak was considering. But had passed. Is this a play of greed. And to bad for your luck kind of plot or a company that sticks to it's word to sell a quality home as they say. What nis the answer I ask. Is anyone going to answer my call on Friday the 16th of September. or are you all working to together to make me homeless just because I wrote a letter to finally get results that I have been waiting for, for four years which should have been solved in May of 2019. Should I say more and mention the skirting also that was never fixed. The back siding was but came back to fix skirting was there for 15minutes. Said he'd be back and had never been here since. I want results now and I mean now an answer by Friday. I believe I should be a priority and find someone else to do your touring of new customers. And stop making me wait around till I lose my home and have to walk away penny less while you and the morgage company benefit from your own mistakes. I have been abused mentality and physically by the man that use to share this home. And now suffering mentally from this *** if being ignored by a man who sold me a house and says oh well you signed the papers. Oh yes that's right I did. But please I deserve some respect in this matter to make sure I come out of this mentally and physically whole and am depending on a company I trusted for a decent home to live in after the first one on my land burnt down for help and I am putting my trust in you and God to please make this right by your company and in God's name so you can prove that your company can be trusted and your employees really do care about the people they sell houses to. Because I was looking on the rating's of this company and it's not looking as good as it should be. Maybe I should have been more careful in my decisions and bought a home from Jacob in live oak instead. And josh. We were nice enough to come take a look and thinking about helping who was told by Curtis of style crest when he came and witnessed what I had been going threw and took the time out of his life to try and help me. Hopefully if we can all come together and help each other with God's help I can be happy again and smile and walk out alive of this *** I've been living in. Thank you . Victoria j Sumner Sumner

Unsatisfied and without answers.

We started our paperwork for a new home with one salesman (Chris). We had everything ready for closing within 3 weeks. It then took more than 2 months to go to close (and 6 months for delivery). At that time we learned our sales rep was no longer with them. We closed anyways. Once our home was set up on property we could not reach anyone for any assistance. We kept being told Jarod would call and he wouln't. We had to schedule our own final inspection with the county twice. It didn't pass the initial inspection. We had to contact the electric company to have the new power ran. Though we were told during the sale all of this was included in the sale of our home. The setup was done HORRIBLY. The ground wasn't given time to settle after 10 loads of dirt was brought it. The floor in every room has loud squeeking settling noises when walked across. The outside siding is lifting in places. The interior molding was only nailed down in the middle. So the ends are poking out. Only two interior doors properly close. The hall toilet was leaking water all around the bottom. There was NO wax ring. The incoming water lines weren't fully connected to the faucets causing leaking into sink cabinets. There are two razor gashes on the walls in corners. The ceiling has random plaster blotches in several rooms. There is a linoleum burn where the floor was seamed in the master bath. The master shower wasn't siliconed at all and leaked. Therr has just been issues after issue. They didn't ever come do the final walk through and haven't returned any calls since the closing. I would NEVER EVER recommend this place for a home. Unless you want a brand new fixer upper.

They do not stand behind there product

Bill is just worthless, Jared is a downright liar. We purchase a NEW home not a used home, There is so much damage in the house, and they tell us to not call them about the damage. The stove fell over in the move it does not work. Roof leaks. Fridge doors are damaged and do not close as they should. The flooring in both bathrooms do not even meet up with the walls, the tacked that down. There is no trim in any of the bedrooms. Carpet is not even stretched out its all rippled. Front door and back door do not close properly. All inside door are crooked. Kitchen cabinets do not close all the drawers are crooked. Paint in like a child painted the walls. They did not caulk anything. The list goes on and on but they refuse to do anything. Jared told me not to call them as I give him a bad day every time I call. I have a bad day every day I see all this damage and they refuse to help.

A undependable company

I was foolish enough to believe what Jarad Martin told me. It took over 10 weeks for them to tear down my old home and set up the new one. Some weeks no work was done. It did not pass inspection the first time. All they told me was a bunch of lies and they cost me a lot of money for hotel fees for my family. Do not believe what they tell you.

Dont buy from them

This is the most unorganized place I have ever dealt with, my in laws bought a trailer back in August got delivered to land in Sept, and it's still not set up right. Cant get it to pass inspection and everyone blames someone else for the problems, these are elderly people and have already made first payment and still not living in it. The manufacturer in Georgia are the only ones that seem to be trying to help. There's a big Gap in the roof where the trailer is not even put together, wrong refrigerator, holes in the walls, trailer not level, and that's only a few problems DON'T BUY FROM THEM unless you have lots of time to spend on the phone with them trying to get something done

Unsatisfied customer

Going on a year and a half. Still no heat / ac in master bedroom. Front door can only be used periodically. NEVER fixed the carpet. Crappie work on siding/skirting. So many promises and so many no shows. stay clear.

They are trash

Let me tell you I bought my home in 2017 from Jared and lets see where do I start he is a joke the place is a joke and they are telling me that my place is only warranty for one year so lets see three years later my roof has several leaks my windows leak into the walls and my ac unit has to be replace inside and out side because its junk not to forget about all the trim work that was broke when they put the home on my land none of thats fixed so I would not recommend this place for anything unless you want to be lied to all they do is make the money and forget who you are as the customer they dont care after they get there money they suck

Horrible experience. Crude and run employees. Showed no interest to myself as a paying customers. They want a deposit of 5 thousand dollars up front before they would lift a finger. Disgraceful dealership

The most unprofessional group of people I have ever dealt with they want your money and service is not a part of the deal Randy is a smooth talker don’t be fooled he is all about money and not the customer he is full of BS

Do not stand behind repairs

I purchased home 01/02/19 today is 09/10/19 I had 55 repairs documented they repaired 5 total I just let all slide but needed front repaired (they replaced door but did not install it right is not flush with wall carpet still not repaired refused to level door carpet damaged by contractor still not repaired filing with small claims today

Nightmare

I bought a lot model - it has been a nightmare since signed the papers - septic lines on top the ground - water lines still not run - roof leaking - two colors of shingles - shelves missing in kitchen - holes knocked in walls - found two different colors - caulking used to fill gaps when ran out of supplies to attach - cracked siding - no facet when home put together - fuse box doesn’t have cover - doors won’t close - the list goes on and only get the run around - have even called corporate and get we forwarded your concerns - but no one will take action , step forward and fix the 26 pages of problems Update - don’t be fooled They will be great till they get their money then they are gone / have made verbal and written promises and has not followed through - will not answer calls (they have caller ID) or return calls or emails Still working to get in home Has cost be over $5000 since installed to hire private contractors to finish what they stated was included We pulled our own permits- their job They charge FHA inspection fees and my loan is not FHA Don’t expect any good once they get their money Corporate office would not help - Jeff Frier - owner was informed of problems and refused to look into any of it

Park manager

To all people being ripped off by Frier Homes, I have been a park manager in S.F Bay area for 12 years for a reputable management company. Our park was built in the 70's and a lot of homes are old so we have dealers drag the old out and in with the new and I have seen over 150 new mobile homes come into this park and NEVER have I seen outrageous incidents such as I have read on this complaint site. First ALL mobile homes are to be built according to HUD standards and if they are not find out where it's manufactured and notify HUD then get an Attorney. Most of what I see is a few cracks in the drywall from transport or a creak in the floor which is tightened up underneath with the existing bolts and other minor things but nothing like I read hear. Second I would do a home inspection Myself to make sure everything is correct before I EVER took possession of the home by moving in. Thirdly photograph all needed repairs and if they do not repair them within 14 days get an attorney. Lastly bring the contract to an attorney for review before you sign it . It is worth a few hundred bucks to know you are signing a fair contract and BINDING BOTH WAYS.

Horrible 13th Street homes in Alachua, FL Live Oak Homes factory Waycross, GA

We purchased our home in 2017. Its been a nightmare from the dealer right down to the factory and the contractors they send out to fix the problems. Our house is less then 2 years old. The floor in the kitchen squeaks when you walk across it, the counter tops were not installed correctly and have been replaced however still not right. The marriage Line in our living room and master bedroom are not level and can be felt through the carpet, Factory claims this is a dealer issue, dealer claims this is a factory issue, everyones points fingers but no on is taking responsibility. Tile in the kitchen for the backsplash tiles are not even grouted and some were broken. Master bathroom tile around the tube wasn't aligned right and bowed out at an angle, the master shower wasn't grout all the way around the bottom and top of shower. The roof leaked and flooded the kitchen during a hurricane because they wouldn't send someone out to fix before the hurricane, the wouldn't replace the base boards that were damaged during the flood. The dealer lied about the AC unit that was installed of course he blamed the factory. The wall outlets pull out of the wall and the light fixtures are not mounted to any thing. This whole process has been a nightmare. I wouldn't;t recommend 13th Street Homes and Live oak Homes to my worst enemy and thats saying a lot. We are in the process if seeking legal action.
