No response from the pet owner or any real help from the wag app

I am unhappy with this app when I first started I could reach a customer service person and they would have helped me with my problem now I can't reach nobody and they keep using this automated service that's not helping me for nothing and it keeps on repeating the same thing over and over. To prove I believe I was in the right spot but had no access I uploaded a picture

Severely upset with app malfunctions, both myself and pet parents are OWED money

I have been trying to contact someone from Wag for far too long and NO ONE has reached out to me. I had an app malfunction in which as I went to start one of my services, it told me I had to close out a service from May in order to start another. This is false, since I have closed out every service I have done and I have since done other services so I do not know why it was not allowing me to start the service, however I managed to contact the pet parent and complete the service on my own without the help of Wag. The problem, however, is that not only did my pet caregiver account get penalized for "missing a booking" which I did not do, but Wag also sent a random person to my pet parent's house without their permission and then charged them $5 for canceling the service. Not to mention, I still have not been paid for said service. I have more services coming up that I am afraid it will once again not let me complete. This is absolutely ridiculous you are putting pets' lives at risks and I can't even manage to get ahold of someone to fix the problem? It is unacceptable to have an automated bot being the only form of help accessible to Wag walkers. It is increasingly frustrated when the bot has no idea how to help and just keeps asking you to "rephrase the question" rather than connecting you to an actual human who can help. This is now the 4th time I have had to contact Wag support--and I'm not even sure if I'm doing it correctly given that the only way I could even find a way to email you is through a website called Pissed Consumer. I want my account fixed, my pet parent refunded, and I want to be paid for my previous service. I am fed up with this app and if we cannot come to a quick and easy resolution I will be taking my business and my clients elsewhere.

Membership

Hello, I bought the membership for 130$ because it was claiming to promise more approved walks and priority booking etc. however when I click my notification the second they come out and request a booking Im still getting the same traction as when I didnt buy the membership. I requested multiple clients who will pop up right away and Im still not getting booked and I feel like its just not working for me, I barely had enough to pay the plan and for it to not work in my favor is absurd! Im considering a refund. Please get back to me before I have to take further actions. Thank you!

Erroneous 1-Star Review

Hello there, on Monday of this week I was supposed to meet to do a walk at 12:30 but I had an emergency and spoke with the Pat parents. We agreed to postpone and agreed to leave the recurring appointment as is so that I could still come every Monday to do a walk with their dogs. I was not aware I needed to inform you guys or anything and I was flagged as a no-show and your one star review has killed my rating. I had all five star reviews other than you and now I cant even send messages to new pet parents and Im not getting selection for services. Refund

I had some difficulty with a walker who could not find my house even after an hour of on and off phone calls, and I had to cancel the walk because by the time I didnt have time to get a back up walker. You guys were wonderful enough to refund the five dollar cancellation fee and I really appreciate that.

Horrible client

I had a horrible client and wag would not let me cancel the service when I was sitting out there for over 2 hours trying to figure out what to do. The hep section is no help at all if you canning reach the client youre screwed and if you cancel you get your rating to drop. It is horrible set up and then fact that you cant call anyone to help is bad busienss!

Issues with registration process & lack of customer support

It says I need 5 endorsements to have my account approved and I sent out the link to receive endorsements, and I'm being told that it just says error when they try to submit. Ive tried to speak with support via the website, Ive tried to call the support line and it appears theres no way to actually get in touch with a support staff member. I have been a pet caregiver on Rover for a while and their platform was far easier to get started on and the app works very well. I cannot even log into my Wag! account to check my approval status until it is officially approved I would imagine the experience is better once youre approved, but it has been quite inconvenient / frustrating so far.

Customer service is impossible to reach

Its better to just pretend to be a pet parent to get in touch with a human. If youre a caregiver, there is literally NO way to contact customer service. If you call the number, they tell you to start in the app. If you chat in the app, its just a bit that will NOT let you talk to a person. Its an infinite loop!

Dispute subscription charge

This company feels desperate & grubby. I only used the service once - a year ago when first joining. Forgot it existed. Did not realize it was an auto renew. Fast forward a year later a charge notice pops up on my phone. I call IMMEDIATELY to have it canceled before it takes effect the next day as I no longer have a need for the service. I get nothing but scripted responses and fake apologies even from the supervisor I requested. If I do get another pet Id never DREAM of darkening this companys door. How desperate they must be. And heartless.

Pet care giver account deactivated suddenly

I am missing booked appointments in app. Missing earnings. No one responds to my emails and cant get thru to representative in chat support. Client said I was booked for a wag but I was never notified. Worst customer service

You cannot talk to a human being and the app does not offer solutions to some of the problems so Wag does not care about anybody it only cares about money

My app says my notifications are off. But my notifications are turned on on my iPhone. I am unable to talk to a real human being and the app Does not offer solutions. When I find people who run the service and where their location is Im gonna *** kill them

Money lost, Time and effort not compensated @ WagWalking really called WAG!

I am currently using a company called WAG! For their App, Vet tech on live chat, finding clients and backed up for a few things that could go wrong, WAG! says that they will cover me for that so long as it's in the contract. The thing is WAG! It is not a very fast-paced standup and fight for the little guy or gal type of company. First off, I don't know that fees they charge because they don't have said fees outlined anywhere in the wag for caregivers app. See let me first say this, Rover for instance has one application and website for the Pet parent and the Pet caregiver. WAG has four, two for the Pet parent, so they can hire a walker or a sitter which to WAG is two different animals, lol that was a little animal humor. For the Caregiver, sitters, you get one app, you can only access if you have downloaded it from the company acceptance email. SO there is no dashboard, no website that I can spend hours familiarizing myself with the business practices of Wag! Now that's different for the Pet parents, they have a website and two apps to use on the phone tablet or other device. I can't get wag app on my laptop, my tablet and some Android phones. Why would a million dollar busy company be so stingy with their resources and money, since they are building this on the backs of sitters one booking at a time. I am owed quite a bit of money from 4 cancellations in a row, none because of my schedule but based on the client tell me the flu, work didn't approve vacation, or some other reason than myself cancelling, I didn't rec their fee of 50% of the amount paid in the booking, so if it's a $100 dollar booking they cancel that morning you get 50% of the booking minus the wag fee which varies from booking to booking. Well, that's Illegal, seems like too many variables to accept that bottom line. Next I can't book more than one sit or stay at a time so when they cancel I make no money and lost out on uncounted amounts of money from not being able to book other sits even if it overlapped one minute, literally. I'm frustrated to say the least and to get a live person to call me is a 2 to 4 week wait, that screams ignorance and selfish money hungry half wits calling shots that effect not only my life's financial freedom but also the very reason I choose to be a full time pet sitter, so I could make as much money as I wanted to.
