Deceptive sales representative

Vivint sales representative told me 60 and older could try the service for 30 days after 20 days I called to cancel and they refused to cancel saying I only had 3 days I was leaving the following day for vacation and wasn't going to be there the next 3 days and told him

Bad, slick, refund policies

i want a refund of my money.. they tell me since its 30ty day free trial i gotta wait 30ty days!! then they want you to send all this info to make getting a refund hectic! they tell you lies about wifi..the reps act bored when you are trying tp show them how this system is not working. one rep put me on hold without saying a word. i had to hang up!

Stay the *** away from these crooks! Company is so dishonest going back to ADT Vivint lied just to get me in I would never recommend this company to anyone

Ripped off and pissed off!!!

May 4th a salesman came to my home. He explained about the services available. I explained to him I had always wanted vivant since learning the technology however I was in a contract. He said at this time there was a special where they would pay higher. I asked several times during that day. 4 hrs later after texting with him, and forwarded by text my contract with the other company, I then was installed. The tech was here till 11pm!!! Then, I waited a bit to have my garage set up because I had to cancel with the other company per the tech due to the signal. He never called back after I notified him it had been disconnected. So then I called into IT and they helped me set it up. On my text the salesperson stated after looking at contract that we were good...and I thoughtwell I'm happy and life would move on but I was mistaken. I hadn't received anything from sales or from company so about a week later and once a week until last week I tried to get in touch with vivint buy out and sales. Neither was helpful and neither had received the paperwork I emailed to salesman about the payoff. I sent him the demand letter and the ladies name at the old place which both had my information and the payout. Finally after three long weeks of holding and getting no where, I got to someone who said the reason I had not heard anything was because the sales person did not put the buyout into the system. I gave the information to them, and they said they would get in touch with the sales person. Another week went by, and I again called and asked for a supervisor which I was not given, and then I received a text and email the other day that was 1000 less than the contract...so then I asked about canceling cause it makes no sense to have a new bill for 1000 and have to pay for equipment and the service and it definitely wasn't going to work...but now, I can't because I'm past the 30 days!!! WTH!!! If you guys had answered, if the salesperson had done his job and not lied on amount or answered both me and the buyout team, this would not be happening Now I owe the other company a 1000 dollars and have to pay vivint and I'm locked into this and I'm very passed It's unfair and unethical and bad business. It will be reported to Attorney General and BBB and anyone else I can, because I was done wrong and that salesperson gets away with not doing His job and lying!!! Terrible

Deceptive Business Practices

Vivint is deceptive. How do you install equipment that has been pre-approved and the final approval is after the install? Not once on the call did they divulge this information. Instead they take $550 out of your account and then say Well its in the contract. How if you didnt know the actual amount approved until after the equipment is installed? They set you up by doing this and as a consumer please read and educate yourselves. Our equipment was installed on Friday and by Tuesday morning we received our contract along with an unauthorized payment. If you have a security company please do not be sucked in by the salesman. The equipment is cheap and after further research it doesnt hold up after a few months. Furthermore, they are dishonest. I wished my husband would have researched before signing up with them because they have several class action lawsuits due to deceptive practices. If you steal from another companyyoull steal from a consumer. Also, for those who are wondering. No the down payment wasnt in the original contract which is why we received it 4 days after the install. If the salesperson and the installer didnt know about the down payment, how would the consumer know? They are trash!

I have not received my buyout card and cannot reach anyone from the numbers listed.

I got Vivint on May 10th and the service was installed the same day. I was told by my complex that I had to remove my lock because it was against their policy, so I called to have someone to come out in do since they would still. need to come and collect the lock. I found it crazy that I received same day installation, but had to wait an entire week for a service appointment so I removed it myself. My problem is it's now June 5th, and I still have not received my buyout card, but I'm approaching the time for a payment to made to ADT. I have called all of the numbers listed on the website but I am unable to reach anyone.

I HAVE BEEN ON THE PHONE WITH YOUR COMPANY WITH FIVE DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVES AND FOR A COMBINED TOTAL OF SEVEN HOURS ON MAY 30TH, 2023. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A PHONE CALL BACK FROM CASEY AND TO NO AVAIL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM. YOUR COMPANY DECEPTIVELY AND ILLEGALLY ENTERED ME INTO A 60-MONTH CONTRACT AND OPENED TWO, TWO LINES OF CREDIT. ONE WITH CITIZENS AND ONE WITH MOSIAC SOLAR. I WANT THIS TAKEN CARE OF ASAP. Also, there are class action lawsuits open against VIVINT currently.
