Lost my sunglasses

Did my sunglasses have insurance? I lost my sun glass. Were they insured. Not sure if they were insured

Prescription

I went to get a copy of my prescription and the employee refused to print out the prescription claiming they dont keep prescriptions over one year old. That is such an obvious lie which was confirmed by looking at his tablet screen. Worst customer service ever.

Visionworks at Washington Heights Houston,TX

I am reaching out because the last time I received glasses my customer service from this stores manager was inappropriate and unacceptable. I needed help with a refunded and the manager would not help me at all. It took me contact vision works over 5+ times, and contacting my bank and insurance more than 3 times each. This is unacceptable for a mistake that I did not cause. When it could have been taken care of the exact day my purchase was made. Instead the manager fed me lies and had me doing a bunch of extra steps. Finally after I had already picked up my glasses I called the next day explaining: there was NO DOCUMENTATION anywhere (not my insurance, not my bank, not even Visionworks) that he had done anything to make the refund/price adjustment. After this call he FINALLY decided it was time to talk to corporate. I have purchased glasses from Visionworks since I was 7 years old, but dealing with someone this rude and unprofessional and lacking competence who was not willing to take me or my time serious at all really made me reconsider where I will take my business from this point forward.

I have a opthamologist and they said they didn’t need the history and other tests but they proceeded to do them anyway which is not only a waste of time not very demeaning.

Told no testes other than for glasses and did them anyway this is a waste of time and really not necessary as I just saw my doctor and his equipment and tests are much better

No glasses

My glasses were supposed to be in my hands last Thursday on July the 27th it is now August the first and I don't have glasses and your website is telling me that they're delayed not a happy camper and very bad business practice on your part

Very Poor Customer Service

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses from VisionWorks from their Shrewsbury NJ store on May 25, 2022. The promise date was June 8. However, one of the pairs I ordered did not arrive at the store. On June 9, I requested that the store call the factory to find out the status of my missing glasses. The first store rep told me that the order was in process, and he could not provide anymore information. I asked to speak to someone else who could help me. I was put on hold for 10 minutes and finally spoke to a more helpful representative who informed me that my order was shipped.Fast-forward to June 12, still no glasses. Once again called the store and asked for the manager. I was informed that all she could do was email the factory about my order and it may take a few days for a response. I did not believe that was the only way for the store to contact the factory regarding an order. Unfortunately, I was wrong! I called corporate customer service and was informed that the only way for a store to communicate with the factory was via email. That a store could request an order to be expedited, but no promises. In my opinion, VisionWorks "Sole" means of communication between the stores and their factory is a very poor business model. The company's communication method is not set up to provide proper customer service. I requested information about my order and 4 days later, VisionWorks still had no information to share. MY ONLY OPTION WAS TO WAIT FOR AN EMAIL RESPONSE FROM THE FACTORY, WHICH COULD TAKE A FEW DAYS. And then I might find out what happened to my glasses. It is incomprehensible how a store can not call a phone number to inquire/locate a problem order.

Orders glasses cancelled order cannot get refund

I ordered (2) pairs of glasses. I charged over $500 on my FSA card and they are now telling me they cannot give me money back on the flexible spending card it will take at least 8 weeks, they are going to have to cut me a check. This place sucks. Run away do not go here.

Glasses error

Glasses were made with incorrect line of vision, also, customer provided her personal glasses as she preferred her frames and the frames were broken by store personnel. The glasses had to be returned to correct the lenders as script was not correct.

The glass is not good.

I purchased a pair of glasses in 10/2/22 the Len felt out in January i took it to the store they fix the glasses in two days it felt out again, I ask the manager if i could get a different pair of glasses he said no its my responsibility whenever i walked out of the store, I didnt know about the core value where i could bring it back in 100 days to exchange or get a credit, yesterday the glasses felt apart, this is my third time going back to the store in 5 months, I need my glasses I cannot work without it I am asking if someone could reach out to me Thanks

Report a store

After having to cancel my daughter's first appointment because over half the staff had COVID. They scheduled not even a week later so I rescheduled that one for a later date. At which time I didn't get a text confirmation so I stopped by the store to confirm the appointment and the lady that waited on me was extremely rude and had an attitude of that I owed her something. I let it go and figured people have bad days. Till the next morning when I got the phone call that they wanted to cancel my daughter's appointment whom is having headaches and suffering academically. that same woman to elevated on us the night before started yelling at me over the phone. When I got there she seen my daughter and assumed it was us. And again proceeded to scream and yell at me while we were in the store causing a scene. Then another lady who I have no idea who she is had assaulted me after I asked for my daughter's paperwork to be taken out of the file. Police were called and my daughter missed half a day of school and was traumatized by the events that had taken place. I would not recommend anyone go there for the safety of yourselves or a family member.

Not only did the staff treat us like crap Dr was nasty

First off my husband went in for appointment and I was a work in the front desk didn't know how to pull up our names didn't put our files on the rack in the hallway so it was 2 hours before finally see Dr then the nasty guy who was supposed to help me pick glasses my insurance completely covers 1 pairDONT GO HERE NASTY UNBELIEVABLE RUDE NASTY PEOPLE I was told I would have to pay almost $300 for a simple cheap pair of plastic crap he got loud with me and said Dr did more at exam so have to bill medical whish is not true basic quick exam and said would be illegal to bill that way for glasses anyway I called directly my insurance we both hold on line for over 2 hours then the supervisor that I was talking to said she would call me back when she does talk to someone to let them know I don't owe nothing my whole glasses would be paid for so then go back to store tell them I am there to get my glasses who I talked to and said don't have to pay again another new girl behind computer was on the wrong screen and then finally when pulled up said I had to pay so I left called my eye Dr I originally went to the only reason I went that day is for the convenience of both my husband and I could do this same day exam because we live over 45 minutes away so anyway I parked in the parking lot next door told them situation and said I can bring my prescription and my insurance would pay. Then we find out my husband has to have catorac surgery on both eyes a week after surgery on the second eye we were told have to go back to Dr referral the schedule they made conflict with another appointment so very professional lady at the surgery clinic not vision works sat on the line waiting for sometime pick up to reschedule was hung up after waiting then dialed back waited another hour set appointment for different day that week then when we get to the appointment the idiots put down a different Dr I informed her we were told name of Dr then she tells me they must of mis understood that that Dr is not there on Monday so I ask if still going to see my husband said have to check with Dr INSANE anyway said the other Dr be happy to see him so here we wait in crowded lobby for over an hour finally they do the eye machine and the girl asked if getting glasses today I informed her just a follow up he just had surgery a week ago so then told go back in the lobby waited another hour then go back to eye machine and I tell her we already did this the Dr said no he didn't then was told to sit in chairs in back facing Dr rooms when Dr finally takes us back and obnoxiously tells me I must have confused her when I asked about glasses

No answer for days, no one ever calls back

Ive been calling for days - no answer ever. No one calls back. I hate them so much. They just hang up every time. I cannot order glasses. Ridiculous

3 long term (15+ years)!employees have all quit within about a month directly because of Stephanie (General Manager). She lies, she hides her incomplete eyeglass orders, she is obnoxious, she can't do the job, she's sneaky, she complains in front of customers (Very Unprofessional)!! She said numerous times "I just need to hire my own people" instead of you 3 girls- which are the 3 girls that quit! She would not assist staff like the previous General Manager (Jennifer Spurgeon) did. She is NOT General Manager material! Many customers complain about her!! She is rude and incompetent! I will NEVER buy glasses there ever again! I am telling everyone I know to NOT buy glasses at Vision Works ever again!!! HUGE MISTAKE hiring Stephanie!! Her best friend Kirsty ( the General Manager in Joplin Mo) helps Stephanie and both of those women always have scowls on their faces!! Stephanie NEVER informed the staff if anything which is another indicator that she is not a TEAM PLAYER! Vision Works absolutely will suffer in a negative way directly because of Stephanie! The doctors have discussed how unprofessional they act. She didn't open the store a few Sundays ago and didn't put a sign on the door. A man came to get his glasses and the store was closed. He was furious! Stephanie has called out sick more times since she was employed in February than any staff or the past GM in years. Stephanie needs to NOT be the GM! She is NOT qualified!!! Vision Works needs to investigate her past job experiences instead of listening to her best friend Kirsty who is also very UNPROFESSIONAL! Saturday was Robyn Sanders' last day of employment after 17 or 18 years! Vision Works doesn't seem to care that 3 long term employees who worked very well together and provided excellent customer service to customers and the eye doctors and customers love them! Stephanie told customers that Robyn retired. That is not true! She quit without having a job because it was that unbearable working with rude, unprofessional, lying Stephanie!!! It's a shame that Vision Works could care less about great employees!! I will give Vision Works THE WORST REVIEW that can be given!!! Good Luck staying in business Vision Works because you are going to need it!!!

Heritage Mall, Albany Oregon Store

I have been a veryont time customer ar your Clay St, Albany Oregon store purchasing glasses. I went over there today expecting to shop and purchase glasses. When I got there, I went into the store ( about 50 feet from mall entrance) and said hi to the middle aged brown haired man at the counter, saying I am here to shop for frames but I need to use the restroom first. He said ita closwd for Covid. I proceeded to leave the store, go down in the mall, use that facility. When I came back, I went back to the Visionworks and started to look for frames. He said I couldnt be in the store without a mask and asked me to leave. I said why didnt you say so.ething the first time, I wouldnt have walked all the way back down here( I am in my 60's and have medical issues). I said I dont have to wear a mask, madates are not laws and he has no right taking away my rights. He said he was a medical office and to leave if I wont wear a mask. Most of our local eyeglass aces do not require a msk, and I am very insulted the way I was treated. I ended up spending my almost 800 dollars at another clinic. How dare your staff treat me in that manner!
