Booking

No complaint. Our paid booking for a Mendoza wine tour and lunch is complete but we will advise in a week or 10 days the name of the Mendoza hotel for our pickup. Also we are counting on fish and salad and veggie offerings as requested.

Claim for service not provided booking reference 103441****

I booked the Athens by night tour yesterday with booking reference 103441****. In the tour description it indicated that we would be picked up from the hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle with a guide in English, Spanish and Greek for which I paid $358. The service was never given, they did not pick us up, they only sent one person to tell us where the place was. No tour was carried out, I have requested the refound in viator but they refer me to the agency that has really ripped me off if they do not do the refound. How does Viator intervene if the agency has defrauded me by charging for a service not delivered? I need the refound please

Incorrect charge

Hi, I have two (2) charge to trip Sagrada Familia to 6 person (jul 29 - 11am) reserve. One is incorrect charge please help me. PAYPAL VIATOR-TRIP IT-14 JULY 27, 23 VIATORTRIPADVISOR US JULY 27, 23 -$371.94 -$358.86 (this is incorrect charge) Thank you.

REFUND STILL NOT RECEIVED

Me and my partner booked two excursions based on the promise from your customer services team on whats app that we would be partially refunded for the amount that our student discount codes were worth, this was because the codes didnt work on your website. We both got emails saying a partial refund of x amount was processed on 2/7/23 and will take 3-7 days to reach our accounts. The money is not in either of our accounts yet and its been 3 weeks!! We have called and whats app your team and they keep saying it has been done and to talk to our bank, we did speak to Lloyds our bank and they have said there is NO refund visible in pending or in our account and NO restrictions on either of our accounts and therefore IF the refund had been processed as stated it would just go straight into our account with no problems! We have told your customer service team this over the phone and WhatsApp and they just ignored us and kept saying it was done etc. I can send proof of our bank statements showing no refund, I can send the email confirmation your team sent on the 2/7/23 and I have all the chats of them ignoring us. We want this sorted and we want our refunds asap before we take this further! It is starting to feel like we have been conned into booking when there was no real intention to give us any sort of refund!

Refund

Disgusting service. Im a world traveler and use trip advisor. I booked a Nashville trip through Viator on 6th June , 2023. I received confirmation and receipt and money was taken from my account. Viator cancelled the tour and following 4 emails , 5 calls to date have not received my refund or the decency of a reply to my emails or calls! I will not be giving a good review and Im still waiting for my refund if $159.60 Its not good enough! Regards Jenni

Very poor communication. Ruined my short trip to Tokyo.

I booked a trip to Mt Fuji from Tokyo. Got confirmation a few days before. We all waited outside at 7 am for pick up. At 7:15 we started to contact Viator about no one showing up. It took another 15 minutes for them to give me a phone number to the Tour Company to ask about the delay. After another 1/2 hour I was told that Viator canceled the contract with the Tour Company a week earlier. You think someone at Viator should let me know? I guess not, since I then had to reach back out to Viator to let them know what they obviously already know. So then I told them out time was short and they needed to correct this. They told us the only other option that day was at 10 am. After 45 minutes speaking with the rep and holding long periods, he then told us it was too late for that trip. Our next and final full day in Tokyo we rearranged our plans to go 8:00 the next morning. Well that day was Saturday sucked because traffic on weekends according to our tour guide is ALWAYS terrible. It took 4 hours to get to Mt Fuji and the entire trip was scheduled to be 8-10 hours. And we were very clear that we must be back at 6 pm to get to an event that we could not reschedule. What an absolute mess. And Viator felt absolutely no responsibility to make our vacation right with all the inconveniences and our opportunities lost because of their lack of communication. When I told this story to friends, they all told me equally bad if not worse stories about Viator. They are definitely not interested in customer service, just lining their pockets. My friends and I have all turned to other tour groups for all future trips.

Viator is giving a bad service and the local operator! I booked a tour to see the lavander field in provence and suddenly without any reason viator canceled the tour. We have been awaiting for this tour long time ago and come to France just for this tour. They said is the local tour operator but anyway Viator is and should be the responsible for this service! they have irresponsible tour operators and also Viator is irresponsible!

This company misleads you and the paper they give you as a confirmation does not state the truth. This is a company that uses foreign companies that answer their complaint line that you can't understand and hang up on you as well as fees you false information. This company buys their tickets from another 3rd party who buys their tickets from the location you want to attend. when that company does not show up to give you the entrance tickets they lie and say they were there and STEAL your money as it happened in my case. DO NOT USE them they misrepresent everything and then dont back their guarantee as they said they would. i for one will take them to small claims as i had issues with 6 of the 7 tours i booked in Paris and London

They are too difficult if a problem arises.

I use them often. One of their tour operators never showed up, leaving my wife and I stranded in Cusco Peru in the cold. They ultimately DID NOTHING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. I had to find lumpen transport, hotel and tour guide. With zero assistance from Viator! The first customer representative was clueless. The second did what he could, but that was nothing!

Didn’t provide service

DThe person to pick us up was not there when we arrived. When we finally found him he had brought a car too small for our group. He claimed that they didnt know but the group size and luggage was clearly stated when we booked and paid. He said someone else was coming in 10 minutes. Half and hour later a taxi driver showed up that they subcontracted. He had a large van but the AC was broken and the windows didnt roll down. It was like baking in and oven for almost an hour. He laughed when we told him how much we paid and told us to use Uber next time. Never ever use this service.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Complaining several times and given bad reviews.

BR-100057**** Pisa.Never got my tickets. Auto reply-No refund cuz our review, In Pisa ticket office confirmed reservation but said tickets were never purchased. I Lost $180. Thieves!!! I have asked for my tickets even after the venue, but will not responde. Save you money and a headache do not use them

We're supposed to be picked up for a tour. The local number goes to voicemail. We've left messages

The tour person never showed up. He,she,they never responded to text, phone, etc. It took 30 minutes to reach anyone through the main Viator office. They supposedly are refunding our money. I would recommend NEVER using this company. Trip Advisor obviously knows and does not care. Use Tours by Local more expensive, but excellent and reliable. Again I recommend NEVER book through Viator.

We paid and the tour operator told us to cancel and never received our money back even after writing tripadvisor email

The tour operator of kenya safaris asked me to pay in dollars for park fee and he said we should give him in hand not pay using our card. He wanted cash and when we said we dont have cash in dollars he was rude and asked us to cancel and never got our money back $553. When I told him he was rude he said thats how he speaks. The name of the tour operator is Onesmus

About a client of yours!

There's 2 clients that's came to Singapore they book 6hrs tour which was assigned to me by my Singapore holiday the tour was 9am to 3pm sg time so I came slightly late of course I pay back the time the main issue is while touring time they did not tell me that they hv book some attraction which I only saw night safari,marina sky deck,river cruise boat so as a driver I spoke friendly and of course I ask them would they wan to visit marina sky deck, Gardens by the bay ,sentosa all these I told them I can help them to book the tickets which thru other agency which I know and they don't have to queue to save time and I did mention to them we will settle payments at the end of the trip which is bk in the hotel after everything was over they ask me drop them in different place out of good will I drop them which I suppose to drop them in the hotel and the tour time also exceeded so when I ask for the attraction tickets payment they don't wan to pay and they said they already paid thru booking the made b4 coming to sg if they have made they booking they should have tell me show me the receipt all these they use my tickets which I book from my agent they own me sg 344 they promised to pay once they are bk in M hotel which they stay but I nv receive I call them number of times so I call in the cops I need to reclaim bk this amount of money and I have to use my money to paid end of the day this is cheating !! Its nothing to do with my Singapore holiday this Mexican guy name Jorge echaid hp no +529512****17 and his friend Humberto +527223****03 which they claim they are lawyers such a shame I will file a complain and get a lawyer to go against them if u can help me to claim bk will be a big help! Your client name+ Jorge Echaide hp no +529512****17 came to Singapore stay in M hotel with another friend humberto mendoza hp no +527223****03 they book for 6 hours Tours on viator my Singapore holiday engage me to tour with them when they board my car they nv told me they have bought attraction tickets which I only saw a few and when I tour with them I offer my service for tickets so they won't have to wait for the queue all thru e express ticket thru whats app and end of the tour they did not settle my attraction tickets and the claim they paid I have to report to singapre police it's a shame they claim they are lawyers in Mexico and can't even paid 344 sg dollar hope u look in the case and I need my money bk this is my no +658754**** alvin its unrespectfull they should have took initiative to tell me they have attraction tickets ask I ask them they said OK they even promised to pay the money till today they nv settle they nv bother to reply me and run away I need a answer or I have to engage a lawyer to deal with viator

VIATOR WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY!

I booked a whale excursion in Alaska. My sister also booked a trip, so I cancelled my Viator excursion within 1 hour of booking it! They will NOT send my refund through to Paypal. I've filed 3 disputes and each time, they gave Paypal some B.S. that "I entered into a contract". I even have an email from Viator stating "YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR THIS CANCELLED RESERVATION" - but still they will not send Paypal a credit so I can get my $716.00 back!!! It has been 7 months!
