Poor customer service.

Contacted Verizon Customer Service via Chat online to request a port number pin. After approximately 45 minutes of repetitive questions, 3 or 4 representatives and a threat to post negatve comments online, the last rep provided me with the pin within 5 minutes. *** poor and unacceptable customer service. I will not be going back to Verizon under any circumstances.

Poor communication

A refund that is supposed to be 3-5 business days has still not been refunded after 3 weeks. Got a bill when I had no service or phones. Maybe it's smoother for some people but my first experience with Verizon is not good. Second guessing my decision to switch. All businessness are money hungry but at least take better care of customers...especially potentially new ones.

I have called no less than 10 times on this issue and it is not resolved and they all say "too bad, so dad, sounds like our representative mislead you."

My review is due to the fact that I have been your customer for more than 20 years and you have not gotten any better; however, I think you should encourage ALL customers to only do business in person! I think you scammed me, and I proved it, and all I got was a "oops."DO

I spent close to 5 hours to get the box to work. Now whenever I press either guide or menue it goes to my roku which is another HDMI input. I was quoted a price and now that's gone up!

Piece of *** Don't even bother go somewhere else for service! On the phone for nearly 5 hours . When I press either guide or menue it changes to another HDMI input.

Shady business practice

Purchasing phones from Verizon can be a frustrating experience, as I recently discovered. I made the mistake of assuming that the deposit I paid at the Verizon store would cover the first month of service. However, just three days later, I received a bill for $400, charging me for not only the current month but also the following month. This felt like a blatant attempt by Verizon to gouge customers after already taking a significant amount of cash from me. Upon closely examining my receipt, I realized that a large portion of my payment was allocated towards unnecessary add-ons. I spent $100 on a liquid glass screen protector and an additional $60 for a screen cover for my son's iPhone. I was under the impression that I was getting a good deal, but I later discovered that I had been charged $25 twice for assistance in setting up my phone, which I had actually done myself. The employee at the store even lied to me about the availability of screen protectors for my specific phone model, which led me to buy an overpriced product that didn't even come with the promised warranty. To make matters worse, the company that sold me the liquid glass screen protector, supposedly backed by Verizon, turned out to be non-existent. When I tried to file a warranty claim for my broken screen, the company disappeared, leaving me with a broken device and no one to fix it. It is incredibly frustrating to be taken advantage of by a company that promises protection and then fails to honor it. Upon further inspection of my receipt, I noticed a significant discrepancy in the subtotal. It was approximately $200 more than what it should have been. When I returned to the store to inquire about this, the employee dismissed my concerns and insisted that there was no missing money. It took three days for them to respond, and even then, I didn't receive a satisfactory explanation or a refund. This experience has taught me the importance of thoroughly checking receipts when dealing with Verizon, as there are often hidden charges and unnecessary fees that can easily go unnoticed. It is disheartening to see how Verizon operates, taking advantage of customers and nickel-and-diming them for every cent. Even small charges, like 15 cents, add up over time, and it feels like they are intentionally pocketing this money. As a consumer in the United States, I expect transparency and fair treatment from companies I choose to do business with. Unfortunately, Verizon has demonstrated a lack of integrity and a disregard for their customers' well-being..

Had a problem with Voicemail and your customer service corrected it

Had deleted all voicemails and whenever someone called and I didnt answer, I told him my voicemail was full

I’m sick of paying 80 dollars a month for unreliable internet.

I work from home and my internet went out today, July 10th and they told me that nobody can solve this problem till the 17 th!!!

Cannot make card reader wirk

Card reader does not work for me. I want to pay, but I cant. Oh d ok not want to do pay an extra $25 for the privilege of speaking to a human being. Please help. Thank you

Trying to help my friend… website gives wrong phone number for customer service!!!!

Called the number for customer service that was given on the website, & it now is a medical alert phone number! This is extremely frustrating because all I'm trying to do is help a friend and I can't even get in touch with a customer service representative. This is totally unprofessional, completely frustrating and does not give me faith in Verizon.!!!

I had my phone stolen and now I have it returned to me and can't get it turned back on so I can use it getting upset with this problem all day thing

Poor service

Called. Call center is in India.. had trouble communicating with representative. Wanted service and using my already purchased phone. Agent finished the process and my phone did not work I called back and there was no record of my having an account there but on my credit card statement there was a deduction for starting the service that they said I do not have. I called Verizon and they said there was no record of ever deducting any money from my account nor did I have any service with them. I had to call my bank to get this straightened out.

Organized theft

About 2 years ago I decided to go with a better carrier so I went into the carrier and took a promotion that has saved me more than 55% since. I ordered the service I wanted and we then called Verizon from the service counter of the new carrier and cancelled the service. I explained to the customer service agent at verizon that I wanted to clear the account since I was changing service providers. She gave the final amount owed and I paid it immediately. I also paid the first month of my new provider account.This clearly shows on my credit report that I paid both. Well a few months went by and verizon sent me a letter saying I owed them another $225 for service I didn't have. I wrote them and got no response. Then I get a third rate collection service filing a collection on my credit. I sent them a letter and again no response. I am certainly glad I dropped the poor service of Verizon and went with TMobile at 1/3 the cost. It is a shame that a company thrives of this type of theft.

Unable to deliver phone on time

Ordered a new phone to be delivered Friday by 8pm. (Stated on contract) 4 days after the scheduled delivery date I stopped out to the store to see what they could do for me. They offered no help or compensation. Told me I was at the mercy of FedEx. There is no new scheduled delivery. They will not order me another phone or offer any compensation for this major inconvenience. Same story when I called Verizon customer service. No willingness to help in any way. They told me I would have to wait on FedEx. I explained to them that Verizon is FedExs customer not me, and that I am Verizons customer, their issue with FedEx is not my problem. Verizon is unwilling to step up and even call FedEx for their customers. When I told them I will have to switch carriers, they had no interest in retaining a loyal customer of over 10+ years. Only informed me or restocking fees on a product that I have not received.
