Ask for movers.Stole over 2500 of my kids and I belongings!

When receiving my things I noticed that my packages he been retapped but didn't think anything of it until I started unpacking! My boxes had been ransacked! My son collects classic shoes and at least 9 were stolen, box and all and 3 where the left the empty boxes! 6 of my shoes were taken and my kids PlayStation. When I called in I was giving advice to file a claim by Maria Reyes who is suppose to be the manager but doesn't seem to know a *** thing, only for me to contact the insurance company and find out that items that were not packed by the movers can NOT be claimed and was told that the company knew that before sending me the form!!! After a quick search on the net(which I should have done before hiring them) I found out that they are had numerous claims of theft and NO ONE received their belongings or were refunded!!! Not sure how man location they have but the AZ Glendale location is full of thieves!!!! My 15yr old son works hard to buy the things he has and someone stole that! Oh yea... Was told there's no cameras in the wear house so these employees have free range to your belongings! And they insurance company still insures them!!!!

Usa Moving And Storage Long Distance Moving Service Review

Do Not use this company!!! They are crooks! They are Brokers, not movers. I echo everybody' s complaints. Double charging, not arriving when scheduled, representative (Dennis) not available when problems arise, even when he promised he would be. I had a lot of questions and he had a lot of answers. Dennis preys on people's fears with his smooth talking and lures you in believing you are hiring a trusted and caring company when it is the furthest thing from the truth. My move from MI to TX was pure ***. People, do not use this company. Use a trusted local moving company and have a plan "B".

Moved from Ruskin fl to Ashley Pa, They hired a company from fort Lauderdale fl worst company overcharge me $2000 l had to get wilks berri sheriff to get my belongings this company had there truck impounded, and was not going to deliver my belongings, I had to get a U Haul and delivery own, , they lost a very old sowing machine, new recliner ,broke most of our belongins and also list 60 pieces ((( boxes ))) DON'T USE USA MOVING COMPANY I have to see about if I can sue this rip off company

Always check a company out for any reason to make sure they are legit and trust worthy

I was moving from Florida to Maine. I had a contract with the movers. they picked up my belongings on May 30th. I had a delivery date on 06/30 2015. Here it is 10 days later and they have no over the road trucker to deliver my stuff. I too tried to contact the customer rep and I was told he was not available. So I have lost 250.00 in 10 days because I paid my rent and have no furniture to move in. This is totally ridiculous, you own a moving business and you have no drivers what a bunch of crooks. Shame on me for not checking the business on BBB.

NO REFUND for Cancellation

MY friend hired this group in MI! Before her move it was cancelled! Her $1500 is not being refunded!!!!!! No contact with the company and they are refusing to talk to her! She has called them, they originally told her she would get the refund and now they will not talk to her. She was told she would have the refund on Monday. NO REFUND! It is hard to do business with a company that will not refund good faith deposits and then will not return phone calls. This company has other complaints against them as well. One lady has been waiting for her property to be delivered since MAY 14th. They say it is coming and then never does! Only been in business for two years and is a deeply shielded company. A search lead me to Darancare Corp. CO in CA. But there is no contact info for executives!

Scam!

I will start by saying that if I could give this company zero stars I would. This is the first review I have ever written and I hate the fact that I am wasting even more of my life on something involving this terrible company. But I do not want anyone else to fall for the scam of this company, and honestly would take satisfaction in any loss of business that may arise from my experience. Do not believe anything they tell you and absolutely do not give them a deposit. When you receive a quote from them they will lie to you about their company and services and as soon as they have your contract or deposit everything will change. When I received a quote from them they told me they were not a broker and would be using their own truck and people. After which they immediately hired a separate moving company to complete the move. They also gave me a very competitive quote when I was first scheduling. After receiving my contract and deposit they called back to review my items and increased the estimated weight of almost everything, which resulted in a price increase of almost $1,000. When the movers arrived the day of pick up they informed me that the quote was still low, and increased the price even more. They take advantage of the fact that most people have no idea what the combined weight of all their belongings will be, and use this advantage to get your business and then raise your price substantially. During the initial quote I was also told several things regarding how long the move would take and when I could expect belongings. After receiving the contract I noticed that many things were different. When I questioned this I was told that these were in the quote to cover moves that were much bigger and greater distances than mine. After receiving my contract it turns out that they had no intention of honoring any of the dates or assurances that were made, and their only response was that it was written in the contract and there was nothing they could do to change the contract. My recommendation to anyone planning to move would be to make every effort to do it yourself. But if for some reason you absolutely have to use a moving company, PLEASE do not make it USA moving.

We have been waiting since Monday for pick up its Wednesday no one has called us to let us know what's going on...we have a uhaul that we are paying for and only have 3 more days to return it to Florida and we also have a rental car that we still paying for so this is costing hundreds of dollars ..This guy Phil is not answering our calls we are stuck don't know what we are going to do..How come this company is still in business ?..I will post more info as we find out ....

Please note, this company has an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau of Mississippi (BBB) - it doesn't get any worse than that and the same holds true for dealing with this company. Bottom line, this company is great until they get a hold of your deposit, then beware! They promised us the stars, said not to worry about a thing, said this that and the next were included. When the contracted movers showed up - a pretty unsavory lot they were as well - they took one quick look at the house, barely took a look around our home and came back with a new estimate TRIPLE to cost of the original. When we called USA Moving Group for help or to discuss, we couldn't get through to the sales guy Tom K. and got zero return calls during what was an exceptionally stressful time. When we told the movers to go away, we still never heard from USA Moving Group and they happily kept our deposit - for doing no work what-so-ever other than writing what we feel was a totally bogus quote. They say we broke the contract so they get to keep the money; we say they wrote a bogus quote and showed up with a $9000+ "revised" contract that we absolutely refused. They broke the original contract in our mind, not us, when they decided on the spot to triple the cost - and this was after we made monumental efforts to communicate with the company, even sending pictures, to get as accurate a quote as possible. This company did the old "bait and switch" and now we are fighting on every front to get our deposit back. They should NOT be in business; do yourself a favor and do not do business with this company! As many others have stated, be forewarned, whatever price they quote you will NOT BE the cost you end up with, that is just about guaranteed!

USA Moving is a broker!

I contracted USA Moving in September 2014, for a move around November 23 or 24th from Ohio to North Carolina on November 24th, 2014, The company requested I send them $1.350 a week before the move they called again to ascertain how many boxes did I have I told them approximately 100. They then requested that I give them my Visa information so I could be charged an additional $500. Keep in mind that I was instructed to give the driver a $1,350 cashiers check when he arrived at our home in Ohio and that I pay $1,350 when my furniture was delivered in North Carolina. Based on conversations, the move was going to end up costing me $4,550 or so. When the pick up arrived, it was a 48-foot truck with a U-Haul attached. I ran outside and asked if they believed they could move a 4-bedroom house with full basement in one truck and a U-Haul? Well needless to say when the driver, Anthony, surveyed our home he began a refrain that lasted until he left and that was “you have a lot of weight.” As they began to wrap our sofa Anthony came to me and said that it would cost us an additional $850.00 to wrap my belongings. They commenced to load this truck and U-Haul with our household items. Then he came to me and said I will need to have $7000.00 in North Carolina because we went fro 8,000 lbs. to 15,000 Lbs. I panicked because no where in the conversation was there a discussion regarding this. He also said that he needed another truck because he had to move a woman to South Carolina before Thanksgiving Day. I took him and one of the helpers a 40-minute ride to get another truck from Home Depot. On my way back I purchased sandwiches for the 4 of them. They soon returned with the other truck and placed the remainder of our items in it. We were cheated beyond measure; we believe Anthony arbitrarily arrived at the amounts he claimed we would owe him. In retrospect, there should have been a field audit so the first lesson learned was to never contract with any company that does not do field audits! We were under the impression that the cost would be based on number of boxes. The estimated costs with respect to weight were only mentioned in passing and quite frankly, it is impossible for a novice to estimate weight. There were signs of a potential problem shortly after the movers arrived and in all candor, we should have called off the move but because we no longer had the luxury of time to contact and contract with another company, we were stuck. We moved from an expected cost of $3200 before we left Ohio, to an additional unexpected cost of $6496.72 ($9696.75 all total). Since our move, we have found two boxes of items (the legs to furniture and a large box of women’s clothing which I’m sure she’s wondering its whereabouts). Additionally, we are missing item which believe were delivered to some other address. Problem is that they only pay 60 cents per pound for lost items. I have contacted Anthony on more than one occasion to pick up these items but he has not bothered to respond. It is most unfortunate that USA Moving operates in such an irresponsible and unprofessional manner. The only care I’ve seen the company (Anthony) demonstrate has been regarding what and how they are to be paid. Beware of Tom, Jim and Anthony associated with USA Moving. In fact do not use them.

Horrible

Take my word and stay far far away from this company. There customer service is horrible, they jack up prices after assuring you there will be no surprises, they show up late with items missing. My husband got a last minute job offer in North Carolina leaving me in San Diego to handle to packing and moving by myself. I called several companies for quotes and Dennis with USA moving group really sold me on his. I gave him exact dimensions over every single item we were taking. Every single box and every other item we were taking. I explained to Dennis that I could have no surprises whatsoever with pricing when they came to do the pickup. He assured me since I was doing it the right way with giving him an itemized list there would be no surprises. I told him that I was doing it by myself my husband was already in NC and our items had to be out that specific weekend. He quoted me $2189.16 I thought it was a fair price and set everything up with him. Now come Saturday Dec 6th the movers come. They were from LP Movers (who have an F with the BBB). They looked at everything that we were taking and said it was going to cost more. The total price ended up being $3275. That's $1085.84 more then what Dennis originally quoted me after I get him an itemized list of everything and told him I could have no surprises. What amazes me even more, when the moving guys came I had taken large items out of the shipment, queen size bed, safe, freezer, and bicycles. And it still ended up being over $1000 more. Like I said I was in a huge time crunch and had to have all of my stuff out of the house that day leaving me with no choice but to use them. After having no choice but to use them I reluctantly agreed to the new amount. They asked me when was the earliest they could deliver my items and I told them Dec 18th. Thinking I would get a call from them around that time to schedule the delivery. The 18th came and went without a word so I started calling them and leaving messages. Finally, on Monday Dec 22 I got a hold of them and they let me know they would be doing the delivery on Friday the 26th or Saturday the 27th with a call the day before. Friday the 26th came and went without a word from them. Finally on Saturday the 27th the driver calls me to let me know he will be there on Tuesday the 30th. When I asked him why he wasn't there that day like I was told he would be, he said no one told him. So, Monday the 29th comes and he lets me know he will be there at 8am the next day. Tuesday the 30th comes and finally he shows up at 10am. They start unloading the truck and several boxes were damaged. One box clearly said "Fragile this end up" with arrows all over it and one of the sides was completely caved in. Another box that said "Pictures" with arrows pointing up had tire tread marks on it. One of the delivery guys spoke no English and even told me I needed to speak Spanish! The non English speaking guy must not have been able to read either because I had a box (Manufactures box) that clearly said it had a light fixture in it that got in his way and he just kicked it. I was appalled and offended. I am also now having to file a claim with them because I am missing several items. .

BAIT and SWITCH ,, ,! Quoted me then doubled the price and left when I did not sign the papers

They had zero intentions of moving me they walked in 3 hours late and had pen clip board paper they told me it would be double the written quote I Have an attorney suing the company they took off without my things because I would not sign the paper saying it was doubled they miss quoted me! The company are thieves scammers and Dirt,! NEVER use them Dirt dirt dirt Call the federal trade commissions they get your money refunded File withe the BBB didn't give them a dime or a second of your time! Run run run run run away from this co.

Worst moving company ever

DONT USE THIS COMPANY EVEN IF THEY OFFERED YOU FREE SERVICE. their packers were 2 hours late due to flat tire. after 2 days of packing my 2 bedroom apartment they stored my things/furniture in 3 different storages. all of my furniture and I mean ALL were damaged. My 4000 dollars leather sectional is a mess and my 3000 dollars dinning set is broken. I found out through running their plate number that the truck got into car accident and they are denying it and they refused to process a claim. at this point it has been since July 1 and nothing from this worst company. Check BBB reviews you will find over 10 unsolved claims a week.

Don't hire this company!!!!!!

They misrepresented themselves and the costs. My move was under estimated by $700, the quote missed the stairs at my apartment, and they lied about the balance due for the initial payment. I was forced to get more cash, then told they don't take cash, then back to that bank for a check!!!! The guys who did the move were nice, totally not their fault but the "manager" was a joke! Claiming to have these standards for 19 years but yet they give you false information when you book. Oh and the trip to the truck stop to have the truck weighed again to charge me more was also left out of the details when I booked. I also had to meet up with the movers at their next job to pay them more money. They have the leverage because they have your belongings and then threaten you if you don't pay more. It was an awful experience, horrible customer service, and I would NEVER use or recommend these guys to anyone. I should have reserved a *** POD.
