The worst credit card however absolutely don't apply

We sent USBank visa a letter that was on the merchants door (it was a fraudulant medical company) they had gone out of business request a credit from your credit card company. Better Business Business had the same letter on their site. This was June 15th 2023. On August 2nd the so called case processor said she requested a credit from their bank, which of course was closed. They have told us for over 2 months they would call in 24 or 48 hours and of course they don't work week-ends or after 4:30. They have now lied and said they called us. But checking my call log and voice mail no calls. We are owed $4700. We used to like USBank Visa but no longer. We have been great customers of USBank and this is how we are treated. We are deducting the $4700 from our bill. Take us to court for your money..

original loan data was incorrect and replaced with a new loan number . USB erroneously reported the inactive account and claims credit agency is at fault for not supplying the correct loan number in the dispute. MANY MANY calls and hours wasted due to incompetency. I pointed out that the agency was provided the wrong information by you anf don't you think after over 20 disputes SOMEONE night have said HMMMM something must be wrong with this account...Nope, the *** just check the box saying the reported information is accurate...NO ESCALATION process is available. VERY BAD BUSINESS

I have had a US Bank Flex Business card for over 20 years. I never paid any yearly fee. I want to cancel this card, and I'm switching banks. I have 200-300k in there and this is the last straw on your fees/

I have been scammed

I signed up for a U.S. merchant service on 5/19 for and this has been nothing but a nightmare. I feel I've been scammed. The lady who talked to me to initially onboard said that I have been way too much with other processors and she said "you'll pay almost nothing with us!". She said that all I would EVER pay was a small percentage (0.5% or so?) for each transaction, that was to be ALL that I would every pay. No mention of monthly charges or additional charges, EVER. So she told me to just sign a docu-sign and I did. Then a few days later, a surprise, I get a payment hardware in the mail WHICH I NEVER ASKED FOR. I also saw a charge for $53.65. Somehow I found someone to complain to on US Bank site and the person named J*** K*** agreed that I was unjustly charged for something I never agreed on and promised a refund (screenshot attached). Weeks go by and I don't see the refund. I contact him again twice, but he decided to completely ghost on me. Today, a month and a half later, still no refund. Then, on 7/3, I see another new charge for $35 labeled "Misc Debit Merch Los Ange Billing", which I have no idea what for. What the onboarding lady said was that you pay only when you use the service, in a tiny percentage. They just keep taking money from me for no reason. This is completely unacceptable. I cannot remember the lady's name but her phone number I have on record is (818)854-****.

I called my bank today. Was informed that transaction were made between May 04-06 2023 Transaction like Door dash which would require a address for orders to be delivered. This should be a way to locate or get an ideal who been communicating FELONY bank fraud with my account. Seem like they were more active on May 6, 2023 Chick a fala, Bath and Body works, Target, Starbucks, Apple, Temu, Gas station. Stolen over 300.00 out of my account. Bank informed me to file a police report. I did that police report was done immediately after I got off the phone with bank representative. I filed police report. That police report is " T230**** on May 8th 2022 Time:11:10 The representative said he would file claim. No claim was file but new bank card was issued. If I never spoken to anyone on May 08, 2023. Why would the bank issue me a new bank card? Close out the card ending in 8442. Now when people goes into to look at my bank statement account. None of these transactions are showing up on paper. No notes about the incident were written. Very suspicious. This is very vital to a person bank account. Now no records showing or notes. Weird. So now it appears as if. I was just over drafting on my account for the *** of. The way CJ from their Fraud department put it. Argument with me the customer about my account. The representative on the May 8, 2023 phone call informed me that. This money will go bankrupt into my account. Because I explained to him. I'm at a hotel out of town. I need to stay a couple of days. He said. I should be okay. The money going back into my account will cover overdraft. The bank never refunded me the money All of a sudden. The can't find those transactions. No note were ever taken on my account. Now I'm threaten to be in check system. That money never got replaced to cover overdraft. I got 200.0 in overdraft coverage. So even if I stayed at the hotel with AARP discount at 69.00 some 80.00 Take the more larger amount sum of 80×3 =240.00 My negative balance was 400.00 all my direct deposit been going to this account. It's paid down to -331.00 If that money was refunded bank from the bank. I wouldn't be in the negative zone. On July 06,2023 going put it in check system. I let them know work is slow. But all amount I get is direct deposit. Which been paying down the account slowly. Overdraft cuts you off once you reach your limit. Why would the bank let me overdraft 400 or 300.00 dollars? It block your card from anymore transaction being made. This is where statement transactions now are being shown in records. Like inside bank cover up record. Alter records. No transaction can be found. The bank never have to refund money back to me and I even up paying back extra money that hackers stole from me in the first place if that make bank fraud sense. If I have overdraft protection. Why would I commit FRAUD AGAINST MY OWN ACCOUNT ? PISSED OFF CONSUMER

Emergency

My name is Garry Gene Stahl and I have been a member of Union Bank since 2006. Since the transition to US Bank I have not received my retirement because automatic transfers are not part of your system, and now I have no funds coming in for food and rent. I live in China and I have been on the phone with your staff for hours trying to be validated for a bank card and I am told it cannot be done. Who can I speak with to resolve this emergency? Initially I was told that I would be contacted within 3 business days, but that never happened. I sent my address in English and Chinese but no bank card was ever ordered. Online banking will not work, nor will the app for the phone. My email address is garrygstahl@***.com. Management needs to assist with this, please provide me with a name of a person I can contact. I just cant jump on a plane and go to America because I dont have the funds Sincerely, Garry Stahl

Friend lost or was robbed at one of your banks

My friend Peggy Lind was in the branch office 1001 Highway 96 W, Shoreview, MN last Friday, 5/5. She withdrew $5,000. Sad down in a chair to count it. put it into her purse, and headed out. Before she got out of the car she went into her purse, and one bundle was missing. She went straight back to the bank and they told her the security video is kept off site and could only be accessed by a manager. She then called the police to see if they could access it, they told her to go to the bank and look at the video. She spent 2 hours there yesterday talking to someone who told her she needs a subpenoa. She has the exact time and someone could spend 90 seconds to look at the time and tell her if she dropped it or if the teller didnt give it to her or if someone picked it up or pick pocketed her. They refuse. She is leaving the country tomorrow. She is a retired teacher on a fixed income. This is wrong in my eyes. Any suggestions besides taking it to social media? Please help.

Slowest and worst accounting I've ever experienced

Here's just a few things I've experienced with US bank this week.. I purchase something online, but the seller told me he sold the item, so the service we were using charged it back to my card linked to US Bank. Six days later.. US Bank still didn't charge the money back in my account, even though the money cleared the service we were using four days before it was charged back. Now a second issue this week.. I make a payment to my secured credit card and at first my online banking account showed the payment I made with the correct amount available on my card, but then a day later it disappeared as if I didn't even make a payment, leaving me utterly confused, yet again. Just awful service. You'd think a bunch of high school kids were running this bank. Brainless imbeciles !

Fraud

I had over 100 fraudulent activities in a matter of a couple of days on my credit card. The credit card company never notified me and I had to find out on my billing statement. For example, I had 15 Amazon and 15 Uber eats transactions in one day, and nobody notified me.

Worst bank for credit cards.

State Farm credit card account transfer. Unable to access online account due to transfer when US Bank bought out the financial products of State Farm. Previously, all bills were paid online. I gave up and dropped off full payments at the local branch, along with the POA documents as I manage my parents' account. I have been unable to see when statements have been sent without online access. Since this is a rarely used account, statements are only sent when a charge is incurred. We used the card recently solely to receive the cash rewards. When the statement was received via US mail, it indicated late charges and interest. My parents NEVER carry a balance. Without online access to statements, I decided to use the rewards credits to get rid of the late charges. Since I have NEVER been unable to login to the account to determine when and if statements are mailed, I contacted US Bank to determine how I could login to the online account. The CSR was very cordial and pulled up the POA document. She was able to help me identify the problem. It was determined that the password was incorrect. I set up the account and have the password but apparently it doesn't match! Amazing! Since I had the bill and not the credit card with the security code, I was told to contact the Credit Card division so they could apply the reward credits and I could pay the FULL bill of over $3500 over the phone. The credit card/rewards CSR would NOT apply the rewards without my mother's consent even though the previous CSR was able to locate the POA. She would, of course, take my payment over the phone but she would NOT apply the rewards. SO, I am unable to apply the rewards to offset the charges on the bill. This has been an ongoing thing and I am very unhappy with US Bank. They make it very difficult to do business.

Unreasonable Hold Placed On Check and Unable to Contact By Email

Hello! I deposited a large "official check" from a bank made payable to me to my USBank checking account. The teller told me there would be a 7 day hold! I explained to him that the other bank told me their "official check" was the same as a cashier's check. He said it didn't matter since the check "wasn't from our bank." When I got home, I logged into USBank's website to email them to clarify what the teller told me and if there was a way they could eliminate the hold. Guess what? They no longer have a feature that allows you to email them! I know I could call, but when discussing money, I like to have (and get) things in writing. I've been with USBank for many, many years and have always been fairly satisfied. But now I am NOT. Terrible service!

Closes Branches, Drops Services at Ones Left Open, Poor Online Experience

US Bank closed their nearest branch. Initially, that was okay because they had another one not too far away. During the pandemic, it was "catch as catch can" as far as being able to actually get into this branch (open one day, closed the next, maybe open a few days in a row but would suddenly post a sign saying they were closing early some days). Frustrating, but somewhat understandable due to COVID and staffing shortages. HOWEVER, once things got back to normal, they cut back on their services. For example, I had a safe deposit box and I was notified that I had to clear it out because they were shutting down their safe deposit box department. When I went there to close it and asked why, they said it was too busy!!! I'd think that was something GOOD, but apparently not because it took the staff away from doing other things. For years, I've had a checking account with US Bank, with reasonable fees and checks returned with the statement (for which I paid). They then decided to stop returning checks and encouraged me to go online for copies, which I did. THEIR WEBSITE IS UNBELIEVABLY SLOW! Once I log in, it takes forever to load my account details. When I try to print out a check image, sometimes it does and sometimes it says they're unable to do so and try later. When I AM able to print a check, I have to be careful to be sure I get just ONE copy because sometimes it says it's ready to print an unbelievable number (just today it kept insisting on saying my ONE check image consisted of over 17,000 pages!!). I had to reload several times, then logout, login and wait forever and finally was able to print one copy.

U. S. BANK, THE BANK THAT TAKES A *** WHEN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NEEDED In January of 2022 I noticed a payment notification pop up on my U S Bank mobile app on my cell phone it was for a purchase I did not make, the following business day I went to the local bank and talked with the Manager regarding the unidentified purchase notification. When I walked in the bank the female Manager was standing behind the protected window, I greeted her and then asked her to check out the unauthorized purchase notification for me, she went into the banking computer system and told me there was no purchase there for the amount I was inquiring about I disagreed with her and asked her to double-check for me, she assured me the purchase was not on my account records. I thanked her and left the bank. In February 2022 the unauthorized purchase popped up on my phone again. I went back to the bank and met with the Manager again I told her the same purchase popped up on my U S Bank phone app again she went into the banks computer system again and said I dont know what you are talking about the amount you are complaining about is not in our system. In March of 2022 I went back to U. S. Bank to close the last account I had with the bank. The Manager called me to the window. I told her I wanted to close my checking account she pretends to close my account (but really left it open) I knew my account was not closed when banking fees began accumulating on the account. As a result, I went back to the bank in April of 2022 to let them know I was getting the fees which meant my account was still open and the unauthorized purchases were still popping up on my phone. This time a young lady who works at the bank took care of me at the window a seat away from the female Manager. She went into the computer system and told me the unauthorized purchases I was complaining about were coming from a life insurance policy that was attached to my account. I told her I did not consent to opening an insurance policy and inquired about how the policy was open without my consent. She told me all she knew about the situation was that the policy was open in my name I asked her to print statement out for me dating back to when the policy was first opened in my name. She told me the policy payments started in January of 2022 and told me there was a telephone number on my records for the Insurance Company. Furthermore, she then printed out the account information I requested and suggested that I call the number to see whats going on. I took her advise and called the phone number for the Insurance Company on my records. Before someone from the Insurance Company could answer the phone, the Manager told her to send me to her to finish handling the situation so I stepped down to the managers window at the same time a lady at the Insurance Company answered the phone. I asked the lady on the phone who gave her authority to take funds out of my account for a life insurance policy I didnt authorize. In reply she told me your Banker opened up the Insurance Policy on your behalf (I had my phone on speaker) so the U S Bank Manager could the conversation. I said to the lady on my phone I am standing here was the Bank Manager as we speak and she just said she knows nothing about this situation. The lady from the Insurance Company assured me that her organization would not have approved the Life Insurance without authorization or consent and again told me my Banker opened the Insurance policy on my behalf and demanded that I put the Bank Manager on the phone immediately (keep in mind the U S Bank Manager was listening to the entire conversation I was having on my phone from the start of the conversation), But she refused to take the phone from me to talk to the lady I was talking to from the Insurance Company. The lady on my phone apologized to me and suggested I file for a dispute to get my money back. Before I hung up the phone the U S Bank Manager prepared three (3) dispute forms and told me to sign them to get my money back. In short the claims was denied because the U S Bank Manager did not properly complete the forms. The U S Bank Manager went on to tell me I would get the results of the claims she filed in the mail and then told me not to come back to the bank branch. She said there would be a phone number on the claims results, she told me to call the number on the claims results and again told me not to come back to her branch. She also told me she needed to leave my checking account open until the situation was corrected in the meanwhile the fees are accuminlating on this account. I have been waiting nearly three months now for U S BANK to correct this situation, I have talked to approximately eleven (11) employees including Managers at this bank all I have received so far is promises to call me back and them telling me they are working on the situation. The Manager who created this problem hung the phone up in my face on 7/7/2022 which was the last time I tryed to communicate with her to resolve this problem and she pretty much let me know that their intention is not for me to get my money back for the unauthorized Life Insurance Policy she allegedly opened in my name.
