Urban Northern Coops Reviews

Poor quality

This company is a scam. Their coops are paper quality which isn't good. They actually charge 25% restocking fee. NEVER BUY HERE. You'll lose out big time.

Cant get a hold of them

ordered and no order confirmation. they have not responded to emails, or phone calls the message machine keeps picking it up. How do you run a business with that attitude. I wish they would answer if this company could do the little things they would be the best. what is going on. why does the state allow this.

Nothing else available for the price!

Worth ordered a coop for about $1,000. Shipping was included, which is nice! Shipped fast via ups, but after it shipped I needed to cancel for financial reasons, but the fee was too much for me to lose. In the end, it has been worth it!

Chicken coop

Purchase went as expected. Product arrived quickly, was simple to put together and honestly for a boxed kit type coop, was better than anticipated after reading a few reviews online.

Warning- scam company

Flimsy wood. Awful product. They say its a walk in coop and its 4 feet tall. Not tall enough to walk into. Im afraid the coop will blow over its so lightweight. Definitely overpriced product. Im so disappointed in this coop. Please do not buy from this company even though their website has great reviews.

Product is terrible

Purchased a chicken coop thinking I was supporting a family business with USA made products. Received a poor quality product. The coop is rated as predator resistant. This coop would not cause a raccoon or a fox or a mink to hesitate. The only reason our chickens aren't dead is because the coops is inside because they are inside a fenced in areas. The coop is rated for up to 8 chickens. It barely accommodates 6. The coop is rated for cold weather. I can guarantee you if I let our chickens stay in that coop over winter, they would die. The hardware is cheap and cheesy. The chicken wire can be cut with a grade schooler's scissors. We were not allowed to return it because we were unable to return within 30 days due to a move. Plus there would be a 25% restocking fee. When contacted - the only solution offered was to sell the coop to someone else in our area. There is no way we would get over $100.00 for this thing if anyone saw it before purchasing. The design is nice. The quality is crap. I found out after the fact that this company has been ripping off people all over the country. There is a warning on backyard chickens not to purchase from them. Tractor Supply Store has a legit predator proofed coop that has heavy gauge metal as opposed to this one step above aluminum foil.
