The 2021 Morgan and Piece dollars

I signed up for the alerts to buy these coins when they became available . The main reason I wanted them was because my mother was born in 1921 After months of alerts every day for things I didnt want and they cant sell the website said no longer available I looked on line and dealers had plenty to sell for hundreds of dollars more I emailed the mint and got the standard every one had a fair chance line. I read there is a Senator for West Virginia looking into the 2020 silver eagle scam our governor pulled this looks like more of the same. Things like this are reason so many Americans have a healthy mistrust of their government

I somehow back in March/April I "accidentally" Created ANOTHER acct. (1) Original acct had my WHOLE email address and (2) I Mistakenly made ANOTHER acct with ONLY My Prefix of my email address. They just can't seem to get it straight!!! They also made one of my accounts (with the AWQ Enrollments) a FAKE email address (xxxxx@***.net)!!! They already REFUNDED me about (12) $4.95 shipping Charges, but account is STILL ***

Quality control issues

I left a review on here a couple of weeks back, and it was 3 stars, well now it's 1. Because their quality control is AWFUL!!! Someone I know received 2 American liberty 1 oz gold coins, and both of them were messed up. One has a scratch as I mentioned in the past review, and the second one has a red spot on it.

Usually pretty decent

The official US Mint website is a 6-7/10 for me, because they have good products and most of the time, they ship it correctly with no hassle, although shipping takes like 1-2 weeks sometimes. The only reason I chose 3 is because there are sometimes imperfections with the coins they send, like the 2021 D Morgan Dollar, barely any of them made were MS70, most were MS69. And a coin I received had a big scratch/gouge in the coin. Real shame on whoever put that in there. But overall, 3 stars.

Forcing us away from being able to buy what we want.

I appears the mint's policies and marketing are slanted towards pleasing large corp customers and not paying attention to individuals. Case in point was the 2021 'morgan' silver dollars. Now a new opportunity for large corp buyers to push individuals out is appearing. That is forced enrollment. Individuals are forced to buy every mint offering or none. 80% of all the mints products should be set aside to allow individuals to purchase. Individuals should have equal standing to purchase small amounts of offerings and just the products they want. The policies of the mint are preventing that.

Terrible service

I have been a customer for the last five years. I am no longer going to order from the US mint. My last experience was trying to order a Morgan silver dollar. Once I logged in which was quite difficult and try to place an order I was kicked off the site. By the time I had a chance to re-login after multiple failed attempts the product was gone. Im sorry I call BS on that. That is ridiculous when I look at eBay the next day and see hundreds of these things being sold at a profit obviously some people are allowed to buy and some people arent. Fix your damn web site to handle traffic you generate.

Nonsense coins / limited mint

Its bad enough when you attempt to purchase a coin (2021 Morgan dollars) only to be kicked off the site, as you attempt to buy product. To make this experience worse, you are unable to log on. By the time you have logged back in ( took 20 minutes) the product is sold out. Funny how quickly they appear on EBay at a premium. I call BS. Done with you. You need to quit playing games and fix your terrible web site.

The website is pathetic, customer service is worse

For over a year, I get an error message when attempting to purchase items online at the USMINT.GOV, which prevents any purchases. Called dozens of times, sent emails, and no one helps - from just ignoring my requests to being unable to figure it out. When I try to make a purchase over the phone, it fails again - it's a combination of untrained, indifferent & lazy people who apparently work there. The mint stores are still closed, as the rest of the world is open. Yet, I am able to make purchases at the Royal Mint, Canadian Mint, etc., with ZERO issues.

Worst Customer Service possible

I never received the coins that I ordered from US Mint and they just provided a standard response to my claim! The order was shipped on 10/22 and never delivered to me. On 11/04 - after waiting to see if the package would finally arrive and checking with my neighbors - I submitted a Certificate of Non-Receipt (CNR) as per US Mint procedure. The CNR was acknowledged on 11/16. On 12/13 I was contacted by a very nice representative, and was told that my case was being escalated and the resolution should be received soon. On 12/15 I received a standard email from US Mint stating: Our records indicate your order shipped on 10/22/2021 and reported missing on 11/16/2021. Unfortunately, our records show that the order was delivered. As a result, your claim was denied. No further explanation. No detail. Nothing. What is it the point of having a process to submit a complaint for not receiving a purchase, if the fact their resolution is solely based on the system informing that it had been delivered. On 12/16 I answered to the automated message asking to have my case reviewed with some arguments/questions. The EXACT SAME automated email was sent back to me on that day! Once more, on 12/16 I re-sent my response, asking for a review of my case. I then received a message stating that my case was submitted for reevaluation. On 12/28 - eight weeks after this issue started - US Mint sent me THE EXACT SAME RESPONSE that I originally received. It looks like they did even bother to check my case - I dont have my coins or the $854 I spent, I feel very disrespected. Without considering this order, I have spent more than six thousand dollars with US Mint only in 2021. I would expect some appreciation and attention to this case, as I have absolutely no need to create issues where there is none. This is absurd.

Product is sold out at time of alert is sent to me

I've been trying to buy the 2021 American Eagle Reverse proof. It's sold out but every time I get the alert that 1 or more are available...and I'm on line at the time the alert hits my phone....the product never changes from being sold out, so I can't buy it. How do I buy it if the on-line purchasing doesn't change when the alert is sent out?

Never received coin I purchased

I purchased a coin in August for $2700, and I never received it. I filed the necessary Certificate of Non-Receipt the US Mint advised me was needed to proceed. The Mint was in possession of the CNR document on Sept. 21. I was notified that it would be under review for up to six weeks. At the end of six weeks, on Nov. 9, I again called inquiring about the Mint's decision to either refund the money or send the coin. On this phone call I was advised that my issue was being escalated for review by a supervisor or manager and that I would be receiving an email or phone call immediately with what I was assured would be a resolution in the form of a full refund. Five days later, I have still not heard from the Mint and do not have the money or the coin. I called again today and was told that another 3-5 days were needed for further review. Horrible customer service and a complete failure to properly communicate with the people that attempt to purchase the Mint's products.

bought a coin and did not like it so I returned it and someone in the Memphis site just pocketed it........US mint has no record of the coin being returned even though I gave them a USPS tracking. Total rip off, and I will drop all my enrollments. I spent over $2000 in 2021 with these incompetent government jacka$$'s

Steals Money

Horrible service, bad website. No follow-up, no shipping info, no customer service. Waited on hold for 45 mins, listening to recording telling me they value me. Order was placed two months ago, never received, never shipped, order number is invalid. This is on a 2,000 coin. Typical Gov incompetence and failure. Will never buy from them again.

Resolved: Worst Service EVER

They acted as if nothing was wrong, but the CS rep who helped me, finally, did take care of the issue I was calling about. Issue is really with IT and Management for wasting an entire day of my life..

I pre-ordered several silver Morgan Dollars in various mint marks. It was a dog fight, refreshing my computer screen constantly to finally get the pre-order through. Now, I have to make a change to my payment information as some slimy ....stole my wallet. I called early and was told I had to wait until my payment was declined, annoying, but ok. Now that it has been declined. I have attempted literally 206 calls to get through and have been put on hold for over 10 hours. I got a real person twice and was immediately cut off both times. The email sent said they would cancel my order if I did not contact them within 48 hours, it is getting close and I am now wondering if I will get the coins I fought so hard to order in the first place. I also wonder why an arm of the United States government is so incompetent. If this was a real business, they would be out of business in a week! If this was the military, we'd be over-run by some third world nation. This is making me embarrassed to be an American, these coins were sold outside the United States as well and I imagine foreign collectors are laughing through their anger at the United States. Get your act together US Mint!

They suck

I'm laughing because a "limited edition" set of American Eagle coins goes on sale TOMORROW. But "surprise" you can ALREADY pre-order on EBAY. WHY?? Because the "sale" is a complete sham. These coins are NEVER available to the public. They are pre sold to individuals (relatives, friends, etc.) Of mint employees so they can resell them for crazy profits. If any of these 120,000 sets are available, it is maybe 5,000? The rest is similar to Italian Mafia. Such a joke and insult to people who genuinely
