RUN FAR AWAY FROM UNIQUE IRON DOORS!!!
DO NOT GIVE RICHARD WAYNE WALLACE ANY OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! Richard Wayne Wallace and Unique Iron Doors has stolen from us and so many others. In January, my husband met with him and he asked for $800 and provided a receipt. Later, he requested another $700 to which my husband gave him the money but never received a receipt. This was a deposit for a door that would be installed within a month or two. It is now September, no return call, no door, nothing. There is a lawsuit that has been filed in Tarrant County. I believe it sits with the District Attorney's office. Contact Tarrant County if you have been scammed by this company and want to take legal action.

There are literally 100s of people Richard Wayne Wallace & Laura E Wallace have stolen from. They take your deposit and disappear, or in my case he brought the door but failed miserably to finish the job costing me thousands of dollars to get the job done right. I am one of his latest victims. He will lie to your face and not even blink an eye. Richard Wayne Wallace & Laura E Wallace reside at 2005 Weymouth Ct. Arlington, Texas 76013. The house is in Laura Wallace name only. The company he is operating under Unique Iron Doors is not owned in any part by Laura E Wallace. Richard Wayne Wallace [REDACTED] DOB 08/08/1967 Passport [REDACTED] Place of Birth West Virginia. He has health Ins. through Laura E Wallace work (American Airlines). I did prevail in small claims court July 6, 2016 for $5750.00 However, I will probably never see the money. I am going after these crooks with a vengeance, they have to be stopped. Unique Iron Doors AKA Ultimate Iron Doors Richard Wallace stole my money
Beware of this business and his owner Richard Wallace. I've meet Richard Wallace in the home and garden show in Fort Worth. He locked like a formal company. I went to his shop in Mansfield and ordered from him a window, give 50% deposit ($675), he didn't accept credit card so I made the second big error after ordering from him, I gave him a check that was cleared the very next day He said 6 to 8 weeks to deliver the window, I waited more than 4 months trying to communicate with him, but he didn't answer the phone and his shop was closed all the time, I never got the window; In a last try I went to his shop a Saturday and he was there !, he was very rude, he didn't have the window and he neglected to give me my money back. I called the police right there, they asked him to give me my refund, and he said he will mail a check on Monday. Obviously he never did. Since was a civil case, the police couldn't do anything but just open a case. I had to spend my time going to the court to sue him and now I'm waiting for him to be served and the judge to set a trial. If you don't want all this problems don't do any business this person. Now checking his back ground I found a lot of bad reviews. And also saw this guy has been in jail before! , for bad business 1f0624b

UNQIUE IRON DOORS AKA ULTIMATE IRON DOORS
My husband contract Richard Wallace, owner of Ultimate Iron Doors aka Unique Iron Doors, to replace our back door with an iron door. On or around May 15, 2013 Richard Wallace personally came over to my home to take the measurement of the opening he was working with. My husband paid ½ of the amount that was owed to Richard to get started with making the door. We were told that it would take 5 to 6 weeks to complete. We scheduled the insulation for July 3 in between 8:00 and 9:30. Therefore, I made sure I stayed in the front of the house to make sure I did not miss the installer. Around 10:30 a.m. I called my husband to find out why the installer was delayed. He called Richard Wallace and was told that the installer was there but no one came to the door. We asked why we did not receive a call and Richard told my husband that he did not have his telephone number. We insisted that the installer come back but Richard said he declined to do so but he would come back on Monday, July 8. That was the first sign that there was an issue. George, the installer, came on Monday, July 8 to install the door. To my surprise they had the door in within 8 hours. I was told to take my time and let him know later that morning if there were problems. Therefore, my husband and I inspected the door and came up with the list of issues. The list was composed of: a. Wrong door handle b. Single pane glass (according to his website it only come with 5/8 tempered sealed double pane glass. c. You could see daylight where the installation of the glass meet door. d. It was not foam filled. e. Thrash hold of the door was too high. f. Bottom of the door was not sitting flush. g. The installer used drywall screws h. Door trim was not one piece. i. Door latch hardware was not installed. and other little things. Every since the installation date we have been trying to get items corrected. I was told that he would come back the next day around 8:30 a.m. to make the repairs. But after 10:30 I called George and was told that he was getting the supplies. He arrived around 1:30 p.m. But he still did not get finish. During that same week George came to measure the glass so he could order it. He said it would be available on Monday, July 15. The next date I was given was Saturday, July 13 between 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Around 9:00 we called George and did not get an answer. My husband called Richard and was told that George van had broken down and he was on his way to get him and they would come over to our home to finish up. Richard Wallace never called back. My husband finally got in contact with Richard and scheduled the repair for Wednesday, July 17. We agreed that he would do everything on Wednesday, July 17. When George arrived Wednesday he foam filled the door, put one of the door metal holder on and that’s it. So I knew something just was not right. So I called my husband to make sure it was fine to call Richard Wallace because I was tied of the run around. I called Richard and he allowed me to explain my situation but as soon as I told him I paid for a professional job and the issue with the door. He told me that we got exactly what we ordered and he was not going to replace the glass, door handle, nor fix anything else and hung up. I called him back but he did not answer. July 26, 2013 and we still do not have a resolution.

Please warn all your friends. This man is a Fraud. Check with the Tarrant Co District Attorney 817-212-**** & the BBB.org they have him with a "F" and told me that Richard doesn't care!
Stop this man spread the word. Run him out of Tarrant county.

We meet 2 weeks ago with Presley Darnell with the Tarrant County District Attorney & Richard Wallace. We wanted to see our 8 doors, 2 windows that we gave a $5000 deposit April 30,2013 to have made and installed by the end of June 2013.
I received a texted all 6 doors and the windows were done and will be installed on July 5,2013 a friday keep in mind. He was a no show. But now the end of August Richard said "There it is...what we asked for; see they swing open out and everything, Take it or leave it but that's all our $5000 was going to get us!!!" Keeping in mind what we are looking at is only one set of double door FRAMES! No Glass,No Paint, nothing just a frame!

Do not believe a word he says!!!! Unless he tells you that he only wants your money and nothing more!
HE's good at only one thing I can see and it's not Iron Work...it stealing money! Richard Wallace is happy for now with our $5000, but just for now!

On 4/30/2013 My husband and I paid Richard Wallace & wife Laure, a flight attendent for AA Airlines, owner of Unique Iron Doors, $5000.00 for Iron Doors. We were told that it would take 4 to 5 weeks to complete. It's now 07/12/2013 and we still have no doors and no refund. We called Richard Wallace for about 3 weeks but he was hard to reach. When I did, he said he'd been on vacation. He assured me our doors were on track and would be done and installed within the next 2 weeks. After that the Non responsiveness started. Several weeks came and went and NO DOORs. The only way to reach him was to either call from another phone or email him I was coming over. But since mid May We've called, texted, emailed many times and we got NO resonse at all from Richard Wallace. Then on 06-23-2013 I once again emailed him we were coming to view our doors. On 6-24-13 I got a call back from George,(Richard's installer), who said the door are having glass installed, he asked to set a date for ours to be installed. They were to be installed in 2 weeks friday 7-5-13. I took off from work and waited. He was a no show and did not call. So I called & texted. This went on then until I had my daughter call. He answered right off & said they were in Mansfield cleaning shop and would be there all day. We drove to Mansfield, he wasn't there! The worker showed me this cad of a door .I looked at what he showed me, I saw the shell doors & a frame and ...IT WAS MINE! NO GLASS JUST A FRAME...,I looked around the shop saw handles and some other things that looked like what was promised to me. I also saw flyers for Ultimate Iron Works. On our way back home I found so much about him w/pictures of awful workmanship, only under the name Ultimate Iron Works. I sent him an email ordering him to quit any work for me and refund our deposit money. I have heard nothing as of today 07-12-13!
