Bad insurance company

They did go look at my total out car and now I'm being sued by the finance company and I had full coverage insurance on the car and unique is no where to be seen...

Horrible customer service

I was involved in a car accident and unfortunately had unique as my insurance. most of the team is great, but the total loss department was a 0/10 experience. First was Latasha Clark- the most useless employee i have ever dealt with...she will not answer her phone, she will not return your calls, if you ever actually get her on the phone you will end up asking to be transferred because she wont be able to help you. Her boss Rosa is slightly better...she is still impossible to reach, and wont return your calls, but when she actually answers she is helpful. we are going on month 3 of them sending me a check for the wrong total, and not paying the car company

I have been waiting nearly 8 weeks for my car to be repaired through liability insurance of driver that struck me

A unique insured driver hit my vehicle. He reported it by phone immediately and never was contacted by the company. He waited two hours on the phone trying to get through. Why can't they make the process easier for their own customer. After nearly 8 weeks they still haven't done anything to pay for the damages to my vehicle. I regard them as very poor service on claims. They deserve a zero.

Refusing to communicate or repair my auatomobile.

On November 4, 2021, my car was damaged in an accident caused by Unique Insurances client. I reported this to the insurance company on November 8th. I sent them the accident report and have since sent them numerous photos of the damage. To date, my car is still not repaired, nor can I get a response from the adjuster or his manager. I have made numerous (44) phone calls; never spoke to the adjuster as he has not returned any of my calls or answered any of my messages. I did speak to his manager one time, he told me I would be hearing from the adjuster which I NEVER did. I sent emails to the manager, he replied that the company would accept liability; still my car is not repaired. I am paying monthly for a car that I cannot use.

Claim

My car was stolen Thanksgiving 2021 until today January 19 2022 they haven't resolved nothing. In tired, exhausted on the calls I had made as of today. Supposedly my claim is under investigation. With all the bad reviews I had read they are just playing games. This is a very, very bad company, the worst nightmare ever....please do your research before...

Absolute Nightmare!

It's been since early October that my claim had been reported to Unique Auto Insurance and here I am, January 3rd and still waiting for this claimed to be handled. I've only done everything that they've asked, keys to the stolen vehicle, all paperwork pertaining to the purchase and I was even requested to provide a copy of my cellphone records and I'm still waiting. For anyone thinking of using this insurance company to protect your vehicle, please do your due diligence and find another company to work with. This has been an absolute nightmare and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. With as many complaints, it's a surprise that they're still allowed to do business. I blame myself for not looking into their profile before opting to purchase an insurance plan but please, avoid the company entirely!

Dissatisfaction

Adjusters for the company are liars. Therr insured ran a stop sign and hit my car. No dispute. Other driver ticketed. Adjuster claimed I was speeding, without any proof. Offered a quarter of what damages were.

Good luck getting ahold of anyone!!!

It's been three weeks since one of their drivers rear ended me, and my car has been getting worse and worse since the accident. I've called 20 different times and either got hung up on or transferred to a voice mail that no one checks, since I never received a phone call back. Terrible customer service and NO COMMUNICATION!! I finally got a hold of a supervisor after refusing to get off the phone (and getting pissed off), who then proceeded to give me excuse after excuse for not getting back to me about my claim (they apparently don't contact you until they have your "adjustment" figured out). That would have been nice to know the first 20 times I called, so whoever I spoke to those 20 times I called obviously doesn't even know their own company policies. And then the supervisor proceeded to tell me that I had to pay for a rental car out of my own pocket. For an accident that was NOT MY FAULT!! I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! They're a bunch of crooks who don't know how to do their jobs.

Communication failure With my insurance claim

I have a hard time reaching my insurance agent any customer service rep that could help me resolve my problem Not even a manager no one is been getting back to me via text,email,or calls . This Pro long process is very aggravating and a few other words I rather not mention Im starting to think I made a bad decision With this insurance company and I might not renew my insurance when it comes around Im very disappointed

I actually got a call after sending in this complaint. Amy Lariviere was the most degrading and unprofessional person that I have ever spoken with about an insurance claim in my career of 35 years.

Nothing was resolved and their explanation was as ridiculous as the deductions are. She said the adjustor noted prior damage from inspecting the vehicle until I informed her that he has never looked at the vehicle. I informed Amy that we sent a couple of photos of the damage from the accident and now she says it was damaged before the wreck. The additional premium was because they failed to run a DMV report before they issued her insurance, so now because they have a loss they ran a report and then determined how much they should have been charging her all along.

No notice, nothing just took it from the proceeds. Had my client known about this increase in premium, she could have changed insurance companies if she wanted too.

I am actually the lienholder trying to stand up for my client and stop this from happening to her. This isn't my first rodeo with Unique Insurance Company, in fact EVERY SINGLE claim that I have been a part of has been a total mess from start to finish, if it even gets resolved.

Most people give up, accept their losses, and move on. These kind of insurance companies have a license to rip people off and the client doesn't have any money to fight what is right, so they give up.

We've been working on a total loss claim for 4 months. We finally got an offer, but they are deducting $942.55 from the value of the vehicle for Prior Damage which it doesn't have! They are also deducting another $349.00 for Additional Premiums for some reason. They will not explain or justify these deductions, and they refuse to respond to these questions. It's simple they are taking advantage of people and paying 30%-40% less than they actually value the vehicle at.

Customers complaint

Always the same I get a recording I leave a message at extension 1042 but I get no call back . The accident was 8/10/20 ,don't know how many messages I left.

They are not helping me

I had an accident a week ago coming home from work i hit a deer. I made a claim and i have not heard from them i really need a solution to this because i need my car to go to work i have been asking people for rides just to get to work. Not every one likes giving rides

Angry Customer

I have been waiting for a claims adjuster to come look at my car that was in accident. I have reached by phone and email. Then I receive a letter that she has been unable to reach me. I have never verbally spoken to her. Trying to call is a waste of time. No one ever answers. Meanwhile my car just sits in my garage leaving me in limbo.
