Original review Jun 18, 2022
First, I would like to say, this would be the 4th time I used two men and a truck. In over 2 years. This was the WORST experience that I have ever had. From the Start to the END!!! it was a Nightmare. I'm an owner of 2 @ Home businesses. The stuff that was to be moved is how I make a living. I thought that if I had movers move me that I would be able to have my belongings moved in a SAFE manner. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN!!! My move was scheduled for 6/13/2022 @830am. When the crew got to my apartment, I did a walk thru about what all needed to be moved. After getting out the way @ 10:01am one of the movers stated that he and the other mover was not feeling good, and they would have to send another team to do this job. This was to be no more than an 8hr job. This turned out to be a two-day Mess!!! The 1st team came in Left @ 11:00am I did not hear from the operations manager (Andrew Sujka) The First crew took some of the items that they packed. Closed up the truck, and told me that there will be someone else moving me that day. I later found out by my neighbors that the 1st crew was sitting down in the truck when they were suppose to be moving. This is before they packed and left Keep in mind, MY Personal and business belongings were taken back to the warehouse. At 2pm that same Monday, the next set of movers come and try to move me. The only bright spot was a mover named Kendal that stuck it out with me through all the movers, through all the chaos, and he could see the frustration on my face with this situation. The movers on the 2nd crew worked until around 7pm. At this time, NOTHING was taken to the other home. My bed was not packed yet, and I was tired, frustrated and just wanted to take a bath and get some sleep. I was told by the Moving Consultant that the movers would take my bed to the New House and set up so I would have a place to sleep. this is @ 8pm that Monday night. I ended up getting a hotel for the night and after talking to the movers it was decided that they would meet me int the morning @ 830 am at My new home. This was done so that I could at least rest and try to get the situation done again. On Tuesday NO call from management!!! No call or text from moving consultant!!! And I had my 3rd moving team. All different except kendall !! The movers unloaded my stuff they were on time an hustling. We started unpacking @830am around 1030am a severe rain storm started and the crew stayed in the truck approximately for about an hour and half. Once the rain lifted they got back to working and we finished unloading from MONDAY. We then left again to go back to my old apartment to retreive what was left from Monday's move. There were about 15 boxes and containers in the shed. Taped, labeled and NOT broken or cracked. There were 8 file boxes left in the living room and I had over 12 Large pictures with my Bed Frame and a empty armoire from the bed room. No Phone Calls from Two Men and a Truck!!! No communication with the crew!!! No follow up to see how everything was going!!! My phone or email did not ring!!! After getting back to my new home to unload the following things happened. 1. 2 Bags of Storage bag of clothes were broken and my clean clothes were all over the ground. 2. My first 50 inch TV was not wrapped or protected 3. The 50 inch TV was bought in on the glass stand STILL attached. 4. My second 50 inch TV was bought in with the connecting wires BROKEN off and not wrapped or proteded. 5. The two pieces of glass were not on it and has not been found. 6. I had a Glass office table. The glass is removed and nowhere to be found. I have no desk to work from home. 7. The wood floors in my home that were professional cleaned prior to my move in has Black marks and tracks all on the floor. I have to get this redone. The list can go on!!! We finally head back what was to be the last of the load. The crew finished that night @ 730pm. I looked and realized that the Hanging pictures was missing from the last move. When I asked the movers were the pictures were QUOTE "We left them because we didn't want to BREAK them" you the MOVERS!!! The movers called their Operation Manager after they finished unloading the last part. I was instructed that he would speak to me personally about the move. The crew stated that they need to receive payment I say the total on their tablet as $1380. I stated that we need to talk to Andrei. The operations manager never CALLED but he texted the mover and said quote "She is Good, She does Not have to worry about the payment. You Guys can leave" I and the All the movers looked and they said No payment. Keep in mind I still have not talked to anyone from two men and a truck. That same night I had to hire another mover and pay him $300 dollars to do and receive the pictures and additional items that were left in the apartment. (receipt attached) as I started unpacking and trying to just get settled into the move. I noticed broken valuable items, piece of my business broken and destroyed, Damage done to the floor. I debated on calling two men and a truck in Columbia, SC, because even though the past 2 days were horrible. I didn't have to pay ANYTHING. As a business owner I would want to know if something occurs with my workers or if a customer is not happy with my product or my services .I called and spoke to Home office customer service (kristen) about the situation. This was on Thursday. She said she would look in to the matter and reach out to that office. I actually thought that the actions would be corrected. On Friday I received a call from operations consultant (Teddy Grysky) he apologized for the experience and listened. but what pissed me off was Teddy stated that "Quote it could have been worst, you were to pay $2700 for your move". he also proceeded to NEGOTIATE the total amount that I owed. He stated that he would give me a discount of $1450 for the move. No here are the issues with this: 1. On Tuesday I was told that the move was FREE by the operations manager Andrei Sujka. I have 4 witinesses one being a Lawyer that SAW the text. 2. I was never given a paper to sign AFTER the move about the charges as of that Tuesday. 3. I have over $7000 dollars worth of damage to my New home and my property that I now have to fix. 4. During my phone call on Friday with Teddy it felt very Not genuine and there was a concern over the NON Payment that was authorized by Andrei. 5. I paid the $1450 and I asked for a breakdown of all charges, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE 6. I inquired about filing insurance claim to recoup to money for damages. I was told by Teddy Grysky that "I gave you a discount for the move and considered the damage that you spoke of. Insurance Claims can be a very time consuming process. 7. But what really PISSED ME OFF!!! Was toward the end of the conversation with Teddy he stated " Two men and a Truck will be sending out a survey about your experience. If you could please DO NOT PUT a negative one due to that is how the movers get there Perks" He also stated that I could not put a Review and that would be the same!!! Go listen to you phone recording TWO MEN AND A TRUCK The AUDICITY!!! This is why I'm pissed off with this company. There was a sense of *** the customer. There was no attempt at making the situation right!!! After voicing my concerns and my experience, I was still charged after being told that I would not. I had to spend an additionally $1000 to do stuff that I paid two men and a truck to do to assist me with this move. This NEEDS to be corrected ASAP !!! Poor leadership, Poor Management, Poor customer service, Not empathic to the damages that were DONE by your company.

Still waiting almost two years for an insurance claim

The movers moved my furniture and damaged it. Run around about filing and insurance claim. They moved my furniture in October 2020 and no one has called me to rectify the issues or file a claim Do not use them them

Whateve is worse than lousy service.

If you hire them and are not happy after reading my review of 2 Men and A Truck and how they treat senior citizens it's your fault. I feel my wife of 54 years, 73 years young and me, being 75 years old, wouldn't hire them to pick up a lamp from the floor and put it on an end table. Just a few examples. Before I give you examples let me say my wife and me had never hired movers in our life and if this is an example of what movers are like I thank God we never did. I probably could have hired college students for less and actually gotten the stuff put in storage that was supposed to be as well as the stuff put in the apartment that was supposed to be, so now I can hire someone else to correct what your company did wrong! 1. I thought it was a great idea to disassemble the opening and closing mechanism on the front door to make it easier to bring furniture out, and I thought it would have been an even better idea to have reattached it when they were finished. 2. Another good idea was taking the mirror off my wife's triple dresser since it would have been cumbersome to move it with it still on, but again would have been even better if they had had put it back on like they said they would. 3. I was very impressed when they pretty much saran wrapped all furniture to protect it and even when it was brought to its new destination and I started to take it of was told, "don't worry about it Harry, we'll take care of it". I foolishly believed that statement. My wife completed that task today. 4. Not much to say about the television that was broken other than, "we'll report that to the company". We have no idea if they have or will. 5. Was told 4 people at 9:00. Again, another great idea. To bad, only 3 showed up. A 4th showed up around noon. 6. This is a continuation of #4. I just got an email with them offering to settle on the television. Trust me, and I have the email. They actually offered me$19.00 for a 39-inch television! Not kidding, $19.00. Tried to make a suitable agreement. 7. Ended up hiring 2 men for $35.00 each for 4 hours and rent a truck, nothing to do with 2 men and a truck, to repack the storage area, moving things from storage area back to where they were supposed to be put in the first place, the apartment, and of course had to move things from the apartment to where they belonged in the storage area. 8. The best part is, before they were finished, I foolishly gave them each a $25.00 tip. They should have tipped me, Frankly, what's the use. There are several more. Hopefully every one of the 25,000 families in the Nall Hills subdivision as well as many Kansas City residents will read this review.Don't blame me if you're unhappy with them I am rating them at the lowest I could because it won't allow a no star rating. I should mention this review is for the 2 Men And A Truck in Lenexa, Ks.

Not honoring claim for goods you list

Poor business practice. Refusing to take responsibility for items you lost

Bullies / Harassment

They lose payments and damage / steal property and when you complain, they send accounts to collections. I have paid my bill and sent them proof of cleared checks. They bully and threaten to send to collections in an attempt to make me overpay my account.

NEGATIVE 1000 STARS!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This company is the worst moving company in history!!! The movers were extremely unprofessional. They damaged several pieces of furniture, demanded that my children help move everything, and threw trash and packing material all over the lawn. I called and emailed several times, which were ignored. I called corporate and they told me they cant help me. Then they charged my credit card MORE than what was quoted. An abymal company, to say the least and BEWARE of using them, or you too will get screwed.

Damaged and Missing Items

I did not request reimbursement for the damaged pantry or missing cabinet pieces direct from Two Men & A Truck, initially. I have only requested the reimbursement for other items totaling - $988. However, due to having to file small claims on this just to recover some...

Sharonville Two Men and a Truck - I hired Two Men & a Truck to move and store my items. This is their Sharonville location. If you are wanting your items damaged and packed poorly, as well as go missing, then this is the company to hire. However, if you'd like to avoid those things, I recommend not using them. I brought my issues to 2 different managers (Greg Higgins and George Daniels), the district manager (Rodney Puckett) and their corporate office dealing with Charly Henry, along with their office staff- and they are non responsive to remediating nor will take responsibility for their actions. I am out almost $342 for a tv stand that is in a hundred pieces, (2) end tables at $80 each - one of these they packed with a window air conditioner sitting on top of it, a bathroom cabinet at $350, a floor lamp at $72, plus the tax on all these items. I also have missing cabinet pieces for brand new cabinets and a brand new pantry at $1,572 that they scratched and attempted to cover with white paint that did not even match the color. Do not rely on their website to submit a claim. I did this and this is still my experience.

Poor service

Good Morning Jake, This is the third attempt within last week to reach you since filling damage jake.whitt@***.com Subject: FW: TMT ESIGN ILLINOIS DAMAGE CLAIM FORM 092817 between Jake Whitt, Jake Whitt and lerisa wilkins is Signed and TMT ESIGN ILLINOIS DAMAGE CLAIM FORM 092817 between Jake Whitt, Jake Whitt Signed and Filed! Two Men & a Truck was hired for a small move estimated under 4 hrs on June 15th, 2018. Movers arrived around 10 am. The two young men looked under age of 20, one looked about 18. I asked the older one how long had he been in this line of business and he stated two years and would take care with my furniture. Well the move started and he took a picture of my bed and called his Manager. After call, he insisted for a lesser waiver to be signed on my bed due to make up of my bed. The move started and from the beginning the move went wrong. One of the big post to my bed went crashing down on to a glass desk next to my bed. The desk scattered due to not securing the post. The move gets worse as the younger gentleman was getting tired and both very careless with my furniture. They began dropping and damaging several pieces of big items. The bed has noticeable scratches throughout entire bed. The couch in which was double wrapped was scrapped so bad the plastic was ripped right down to the couch. My brand new couch is completed destroyed. My dining room table was drop. We counted 5 major pieces completed destroyed. To top it off what should have taken less than 4 hours took 8.25 hours. So, at the end of the job(Move) he presents me with a new estimate totaling $1125. This is clearly insane. First they send to guys clearly not up for the job. I expressed my concerns to (Jordan) and he stated he was sorry. The other mover (Sean) had been with the company for two weeks and he was not sure why he was put on the job. He stated he could not hold or grip the furniture. Which why furniture was damaged and took extra time. Numerous times during the move, they had to stop so instructions could be given on guiding furniture in. Thus furniture being dropped and damage. I called to report issues with office on Monday June 17 and spoke to (Vernon) who file a damage claim and billing dispute. Also contacted Two Men & a Truck Corporate offices and spoke to Charlie but and yet to hear from local office. An email was received from Juan from billing in regards to balance and stated they are not perfect. On June 26, the attached damage claim was sent to the attention of Jake Whitt. Yet to hear a response to claim. My belongings are very important .

I give a poor rating

I recently had a transplant and had returned home from a long hospital stay and had planned on moving but could not push, lift, pull or shove in other words I physically could not move so I hired this company. I was not told that they would bill me from the time they left their location which is a 20 min drive to my house . The crew showed up 1hr later. The mover asked to use my bathroom on 4 different occasions and also they damaged my new entertainment unit and the legs of my sectional . My TVs were left on the floor which I could not lift myself. Just bad business.. I received a survey which I filled out and called corporate which Charlie stated they stood by the local provider and later her supervisor Andria asked me in regards to the bathroom breaks "Don't you use the bathroom at work too". and also stood by the offer of only refunding 100.00 or send out their own repair person for my damage furniture. I hate sooo much that I even called them.

Do NOT Use Two Men And A Truck Moving

The WORST, most stressful and dissatisfied move I’ve ever experienced. From the slowness, shoddiness, damages and the BEAT DOWN AT THE END, this move was a total nightmare! Non-professional movers, who have no respect for your belongings and purposely took an outrageous amount of time resulting in huge overcharges. (Nine hours for a move previously completed in three hours). To top it off, after several calls I've received no management follow-up! Apparently, Two Men And A Truck has no concern for customer satisfaction.

Think twice before getting tricked

Very very unprofessional. I used these people for moving and got nothing but total disappointment, the guys that cane out 2 of the 3 were not trained they mostly stayed on their cell phones and pulling their pants up,they broke beds, couches, busted holes in the walls, scarred hardwood floors ,broke pictures, lost parts and screws, and everything possible. This move was a complete disaster, and honestly you can just pick any random person off the streets and have a better experience than this and the movers are as good as it gets when it comes to customer service, its down hill from there. The owner is worst of all at being unprofessional had i spoken with him first i would have never used these people. So think twice before you pay $150 dollars and hour for destruction, they didn't deserve $5 dollars an hour

Two men and a truck---Nightmare experience

We are family of four and happy to move to a new house. However, the moving experience with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Springfield MO franchise is a nightmare. Time Period 1: Jan 16th to Jan 18th Our moving date is Jan 16th 2018. We only have several big furniture sets: One Ashley king size bed Two twin beds for my girl and boy Ashley 3 pieces sectional sofas One Ashley dinner table set with 6 chairs 3 pieces TV stand sets During this process, all of our furniture got damaged. On Jan 16th, the headboard of my son’s bed was broken during moving with the attention of my eyes. The two workers only held the top of the headboard (I told them please be careful of the big furniture and only held the bottom when they were moving on Jan 16th morning ). According to my request, they filed the damage report very reluctantly. On Jan 16th, they only admitted my son’s bed was damaged. Before they left, we found out the bottom of our 3-pieces sectional sofas had a 30 inches long scratch. I didn’t mention it. The two workers either. On Jan 17th, My girl’s bed was falling apart during her sleeping. My girl bumped her headand got scared. I checked the bed and found out more than half the screws and bolts were not on the bed. There were no screws and bolts attached on the bed frame. And the slats just held on the bed frame. As any responsible man knows, this bed definitely would fall apart. No person would assemble the bed without screws and bolts. I couldn’t understand how a professional worker would assemble a bed like this. The movers even didn’t mention at all and let our girl sleep on the dangerous bed and got hurt. On the moving day, I only asked the workers put the big furniture in a specified position. All the other stuffs were just random put on the floor and I needed to rearrange them later. During that process, I figured out that our TV stand got scratch on both top and sides. Our dinner table also got an obvious scratch. We contacted Two Men and A Truck Springfield, MO local claim department (his name is Clint Bergman) and explained those damage issues. So far, we found five damage issues, Clint admitted those damages. At first, Clint only sent the furniture company (Finishing Touch) to come to our house after he received the damage report. Then we reported the other four damages, Clint said he would contact two workers and ask about all the details during process. Then he would come with Finishing Touch company guys together and take look at the situation. Time Period 2: Jan 19th to Feb 1st Clint and two Finishing Touch company guys came to our house on Jan 19th. They straight went to our bedroom and stayed in there for a long time. I got confused and pointed to our kids’ rooms several times because that was where the broken beds were. I spent a long time to talk with Clint. That was an unpleasant conversation. For example: 1. Clint kept saying it was a communication problem regarding my girl’s bed. But, in fact, it was a very serious accident, on purpose. After my girl got hurt and scared, Clint just touched on lightly and used a communication excuse. We definitely can’t accept this. 2. Finishing Touch guys also shirked responsibilities. The leg of my girl’s bed got a big hole when the slats fell apart. The Finishing Touch guys said that was the manufactured problem. I asked them how they knew that. They told me they were professional and knew that because of their experience. I told them seriously, I assembled my kids’ bed by myself and I knew there was no hole on the leg. The Finishing Touch guy closed his mouth and said nothing after hearing that. After a long talk, our family made a great concession. Finally we made an agreement with Clint: 1. We allowed Finishing Touch company to repair the Ashley furniture including dinner table and sofa instead of demanding Ashley company to fix them. 2. Lots of screws and bolts were missing during the movement. Therefore, they used my son’s bed parts to assemble my girl’s bed. My son had to sleep on the floor. Clint told me Finishing Touch company was very professional. It only took 2 or 3 days to let them fix my son’s bed. And both bed would be fixed just like new. He would make sure we would be happy about the result. A $150 check would be mailed to us as a compensation for all the issues we talked on Jan 19th. On Jan 19th, we thought all the things had been solved. However, as we realized today, it was not finished. It was just a nightmare beginning. During that weekend (Jan 20th to Jan 21st ), I got time to clean our master bedroom and found out our most valuable furniture which worth more than $1,000, the Ashley king size bed got damaged too. We finally understood why Clint and Finishing Touch guys stayed in our bedroom for a long time on Jan 19th. They knew that Ashley bed damaged before they came to our house. 1/4 of the headboard finials was completely cut off. We had to call Clint immediately and let him know the new issue. Clint said he didn’t know this damage. He told us Finishing Touch would send our son's bed back in 2-3 days and contact Ashley furniture to replace a new leg portion and fix our bed just like new. During this period, we have been very proactive to contact Clint. We tried to keep in touch and hope all the damage issues can be worked out all right. However, progress of events made us very disappointed. That was far away from Clint’s promise and our expectations. We also believed Two men and a truck was a big company and had reputation. Clint promised us that $150 check would send out on Monday (Jan 22nd). Then he changed his words and said the check printed out on Monday, let the owner signed it and sent out on Tuesday (Jan 23rd). We could receive the check either Thursday (Jan 24th ) or Friday (Jan 25th ). In fact, the whole week past and we didn’t see the check. Then Clint gave us another reason: he sent the check to the our old address. I am a nice guy. After I pushed Clint, I finally received the check. So I didn’t want to entangled with Clint on this problem. To be honest, I went to the post office to change the address weeks ago. All the mails that still go to the old address can be sent here successfully, except Clint’s check. The most important thing is, compare to all the other big issues, this check problem is really nothing. Clint told us my son’s bed should be repaired and sent back in 2-3 days. However, after several 2-3 days, my son’s bed was still somewhere. During those days, the weather of Springfield MO was extremely cold. The temperature was often below 20℉. My son is only 7 years old. He just slept on the floor with a mattress and a blanket. I never expect Clint care about my son. But Clint is not only a person, he also represents Two men and a truck. He promised me that he would send my son’s bed within 2-3 days. Clint never told me why the bed still was not sent back, or the exact date that the bed would be sent back. He just keep us waiting, aimless ,regardless of the time. We kept trying to contact Clint. We finally found him at the end of January. Clint told us he was on a business trip. He didn’t know this. It was Finishing Touch company’s problem. Finishing Touch company didn’t contact him and let him know all these issues. But it seemed that Clint forgot that he was the person who found Finishing Touch company to repair our furniture and he pretended that he was not in charge. I can’t accept this excuse. I don’t want to satirize anybody. But facts are facts. Two men and a truck is a professional moving company. However, according to my experience, two men who moved our house, they were definitely not professional at all. On the other hand, Clint who deals with our claim, he is super professional. Clint always says some beautiful words. However, the things he does are really hard to accept. No matter to me or to my friends, like Tammy, Matt, Clint always says something such as “I care about you and your family”, “I will make the things right”. But all the things were just laying there, without any improvement. Also, as I rearrange other things, I found out more things got damaged. Those things included humidifier, art work such as paints etc…I don’t want to list them one by one. Time Period 3: Feb 2nd to Feb 11th On Feb 2nd, the Finishing Touch guy finally showed up ( his name is Dominick) and came to our house. He fixed the TV stand and dinner table, which were acceptable. The sofa was not fixed because he forgot to bring the tool. My son’s bed lost lots of screws and bolts. And even I provided the extra ones we had that were still not enough. Dominick brought different types of screws and bolt which did not match the bed. Dominick contacted Clint and told him the problem. Clint told him my son’s bed must be assembled on that day and I could talk with him later regarding the screws and bolts. Until that day, my son had been sleeping on the floor for two whole weeks(from Jan 19th Friday to Feb 2nd Friday). I didn’t want my 7 years old son to sleep on the floor anymore. Therefore, I accepted this result and let Dominick assemble my son’s bed with different screws and bolts. But I seriously talked to them that I need them to replace the right screws and bolts later as they promised. Both Dominick and Clint agreed with that. On Feb 3rd, Clint sent me a text message. He told me he would send people to our house on next Monday, which is Feb 5th., and he would come with them. Clint didn’t mention what time they would come so I waited them for a whole day on Feb 5th. But nobody showed up. On Feb 6th, Clint sent me another text message, saying Finishing Touch(he even didn’t say he would come anymore)would come on Feb 7th , and he didn’t tell me what was the time they would come here, again. He even didn’t say one word why nobody showed up on Feb 5th. It seems they are busy and important, and I am a fool and have nothing to do, except stay at home, wait for them. It seems that they are not the persons who are responsible for the damages of the furniture. It seems that I am somebody who bother them and beg for help. Until this point, our Ashley bed was still laying on the floor. I have been sleeping on the floor since Jan 16th. No one tells me anything about when and how to fix this bed. My son’s bed was not repaired correctly. Our sofa was not repaired at all. The paints and humidifier I mentioned above were totally forgotten, like the workers never broke them. We spend almost a thousand dollars and this is the result we have. We have to say we are very very dispointed and upset about what we are suffering right now. Our friends and neighbors are all very surprised and disappointed what we have gone through. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK The Movers Who Care, this is what we see on the website. However, this is not the experience we have gone through. As I mentioned above, we only have several furniture and all of them got damaged, major or minor. Our girl is only 8 years old, as professional movers, they surely understand what is going to happen if more than half of the screws and bolts “disappear”. It is not a mistake, it is definitely an accident. An accident everyone knows it is going to happen. We are nice people and we teach our kids that we should be nice. Several furniture were even not held up but pushed on the ground during the moving. Our girl squatted down by the TV stand, used her markers, worked on the bottom and sides for those dragging scratches. Our girl told us, she was very upset and tried to make our TV stand as nice as before. We think it will be even better if we just ask friends to move instead of hiring the PROFESSIONAL company. We also very disappointed about their attitude. They don't find a way to solve the issues, they only find excuses and try to escape from the issues. We moved on Jan 16th, Clint and the furniture people came on Jan 19th. Clint promised us everything should be taken care of. My girl is so scared that she doesn’t go back the “fixed” bed. By the way, I want to tell, after Clint and Finishing Touch guys “fixed” my girl’s bed on Jan 19th and left, I checked the bed, they still lost two screws . After that, my friends and I called so many times. Clint just disappeared. They are not honest to us at all. Clint said he asked workers about the damages on Jan 19th. They knew what damages they made during the process. They knew our Ashley king size bed got damaged, but they said nothing on Jan 19th. Otherwise, they should not stay in our bedroom for a longtime since we only report our kid bed damages. They tried to hide those problems, and wish we never found those damages. Springfield is a small city. People live very closed and talk things between each other. I may understand Clint's standpoint, he doesn’t want to take any responsibility. However, it is not only him, it is the whole company. Clint thinks he escapes successfully. Actually, the whole company gets bad reputation. Lots of friends and neighbors knew we moved to a new house and asked about our experience. Everyone can see what happen with their own eyes. The time we write on the letter is Feb 11th. The temperature in Springfield, MO is 18℉. Clint is always applying himself to solve our damage problem. Can he represent Two Men and A Truck? Two Men and A Truck should send a person who can represent two men and a truck ultimately, seriously solve my problem. We have several reasonable requests: 1. Our Ashley bed is damaged. It is a valuable piece, and worth more than $1000. We have the right to know and the company has responsibility to tell us what is going on and how this bed damaged. 2. Two men and a truck is a big, professional company. Therefore, the company should have a professional, responsible attitude. The company makes the damages, then at least the company should repair all the damages. The company should be honst, face to all the damages and problems. Not like we find one damage issue, the company admits one. We already make a great concession, we agree to let Finishing Touch company to repair our furniture. The repair on our dinner table, TV stand only can be accepted. Our kids’ bed are not repaired as correctly. Our girl’s bed was falling apart during her sleep which was definitely an accident. Our girl bumped her head and scared. $150 check is so valuable to all of above inconvenience. However, the company still treat us like a fool. They still try to hide that our Ashley king size bed get damaged until we found out by myself. 3. How our Ashley bed can be repaired? I am not only meaning the furniture damage, but also our physical damages. Is there anyone else sleeping on the floor for one month after the moving? This is really galling and humiliating in Two men and a truck moving history. I kindly think I am the only person that has been treated like this. Or letting people sleep on the floor for one month is a very common situation for Two men and a truck company. The damages during movement can hardly be avoided which I can barely accept. However, the damage does not admit is also can hardly be avoided? Found the problem and disregard is also can hardly be avoided? Let people sleep on the floor for one month is also can hardly be avoided? 4. We hope our nightmare can finish as soon as possible. We have been lived like this for one month and that’s enough. We expect our issue can be solved in two weeks. Two men and a truck should give us a reasonable explanation and compensation regarding all the things that happened on the moving date (Jan 16th ) and the days after Jan 16th . Clint set some traps when we talked. One of them is: Nobody can change the past and you just want me change the past. He said I talked about the damages because I wished nothing happen, it was not pragmatic. He told me bad things happened , the only thing I could do was “accept them”. They broke my furniture, I should not say anything, or I was the person who wanted him to change the past, I was not pragmatic. Clint’s logic is so STRONG! I told him face to face: I never ask you to change the past, and I am the person who face to the result while you are not. I am always working with Clint, trying to find out how to solve the current problems. But Clint keeps making new PAST problems at the same time since the first time we met. For example, On Jan 19th, Clint said all the things that happened on Jan 16th were past problems. However, Clint created new problems after Jan 19th and those problems would become the new PAST on Jan 22nd. He is playing on the words game since English is our second language. How worse he can make the situation, let me sleep on the floor for another one month, two months? We need a person who can really represent Two men and a truck and ultimately, seriously solve this problem.

Two Men and a Truck Troy, MI Breach of Contract

Please note this Franchise is at the Troy, MI location. Aug 17, 2017 I contacted Steve Steele at Two Men and a Truck at the Troy location. I contracted for a job to be done the next day, Friday Aug 18. Three items were to be picked up at 11895 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174 and delivered to my home in Clarkston, MI. The items consisted of a sofa, love seat and a chair. They all were on pallets crated and wrapped. The scope of work was to pick up, deliver, uncrated and remove all packing and crating materials. I said all packing must be removed since I had no way of removing it and it is again the subdivision by laws to leave debris on properties. Steve contracted to do the job as outlined above. He said pick up from Romulus would occur 10:00-10:30 and delivery would occur around 12 Noon. I authorized payment of $525 using my Visa card over the phone for the job. Aug 18, 2017 I received a call about 10 am from Mike stating they were about 20 min away from my home. I was surprised and was not expecting them until around noon; however, I welcomed them and made it work. Mike and Lester arrived to make the delivery. They had no tools to uncrate items. They required a drill to remove the crate screws, a utility knife to cut straps and cardboard and scissors. I loaned them all of the tools in order to get the job done. They did a good job; however, they were disrupted by several phone calls from Mary Fischer which was time consuming. They told me they could no longer take any crating/packing material. I said I had contracted for a complete removal as I stated at their time of arrival. The delivery was further delayed by more calls from Mary Fisher. Lester handed me his phone. Mary Fisher told me they were not going to take the packing material. I told her I already contracted with Steve Steele to have all packing and crating material removed. I had no way of removing it and it was against subdivision by laws to leave debris outside. Mary Fischer was rude. She interrupted constantly and was argumentative. Mary Fisher refused to transfer me to her supervisor. She refused to speak to Steve to get the facts. After such a rude call, I told Lester and Mike, I would not sign the paperwork. I got off the phone and was starting to call the police to report the property destruction from the large pile of debris now thrown in my drive. Mary Fisher called Lester again and he gave me the phone. She continued to interrupt me. Finally I said stop interrupting me, this was contracted to be removed. She said if she was wrong she would remove the additional $35 removal fee she planned to charge to my Visa. Mary Fischer held up the delivery so long our plans for the day were ruined. The drivers could not deliver their next delivery and it had to be handed off to another driver. Aug 19, 2017, I called Steve Steele at the Troy office. Steve took my job over the phone originally. I told him what happened and how rude Mary Fisher was. I told him she refused to contact him, refused to let me speak with her supervisor and threatened to sue me when I said I would dispute this erroneous charge. I had already paid for the job and this was a breach of contract. Steve said he would get back to me before the end of his day at 2:00 pm. When he had not called I called him at 1:30 and left a message. I called again a few minutes before 2:00 hoping to catch him and left a second message. Aug 21, 2017, I called the Corporate Office in Lansing and spoke with Kristine Peterson in customer service at 1-80*-345-****. I explained the situation. Kristen ask for two business days to respond, by Aug 23, Wed afternoon. The resolution I ask for was to remove the erroneous charges of $35 and $.83 and discount the delivery by a couple hundred dollars for such a horrific unnecessary disturbance and breach of contract. My Visa charges 08/18/17 - $525.83 08/19/17 - $35 Aug 21, 2017, Mary Fischer called me and asked if I received her email which I had not received. She had used the incorrect email address. This is why I did not receive an email pre-confirmation for the delivery. I gave her my correct email. I ask her what the results were. She said the charges will not be removed from my card. It is not their job to take packing material. I said this is a breach of contract. She hung up on me. Later I received an email from Mary Kuipers. Apparently the name of Mary Fischer Lester provided was incorrect. Please see copy of email below. _________________________________________________________________ From: Mary Kuipers Sent: Monday, August 21, 2017 10:40 AM To: kwart@***.com Cc: Kristine Petersen Subject: Move Follow Up Karen, I do want to apologize that your move did not exceed your expectation, however we felt as a company we have gone above and beyond for you. The total cost of your move was $525.83 which covered the cost to load, transport, and unload your belongings from Romulus to Clarkston, Michigan. On the day of the move, you asked our company to additionally dispose of your trash after the move was complete. With the last minute changes, I was able to accommodate your request and take your garbage to SOCCRA which is a dumping place that now charges $40 per ton minimum. This last minute request costs our company additional time and money which was not factored into the price of your move. We did in the name of customer service, however there seems to be a lack of appreciation for the accommodations made. For your future moving needs, please look at other moving services as you have been flagged in our system. At this point, there will no refunds or compensation granted. This should end any further communication from our office as there is nothing further we can do for you. Best regards, Mary Kuipers Franchise Manager TWO MEN AND A TRUCK 1250 Rankin Dr Ste. D ___________________________________________________________________________ 22 August 2017, 9:10 a.m. I called Two Men and a Truck at the Troy location and spoke with Steve Steele. Steve was the person I contracted on Aug 17, 2017 to pick up my Sofa, love seat and chair from Romulus, deliver to my home, uncrate/unwrap and remove all crating/packing material. I ask Steve if he remembered the job specifics concerning removing all crating/packing material. Steve said he remembered it including removal of crating/packing material. I told him I had received an email after Mary Kuipers hung up me yesterday. She had the incorrect email address and apparently this was the reason I had not received the email pre-confirmation for the job. I provided her with the correct email address. She said she was not going to reimburse the $35 removal fee. I said this is a breach of contract and she hung up on me. I read her email to Steve. It was filled with dishonesty and fabrications. Steve told me he would speak to Mary Kuipers and try to find a resolution. The Corporate office required two business days to respond, by Aug 23, Wed afternoon. I have not received a response from them.

Two Men & A Truck Stole money from my Credit Card

Two men in a Truck quoted me 3hrs for a move & over charged me. They charged me over double the rate. Took money off my credit card without my consent On August 1st I had hired Two men & a truck movers. Prior to the movers showing up I had been quoted 3hrs for my move which included no large furniture besides i queen size bed. 1 tv, tv stand, coffee table and some boxes. I had made it very clear to the receptionist while booking how many items I had (no sofa, no table). She was informed the movers would be moving me out of a 1 bedroom which included 6 steps into another 1 bedroom (15 minutes away) on the 4th floor (no elevator). The receptionist knew all details at quoted me 3hrs. Based on the quote I hired the company. When the movers arrived they were very slow, the one mover was wasting time in the truck playing with his phone while I took all the small items outside. After 1.5hrs I called a taxi to meet the movers at my new apartment. There were 5 items left in my apartment. After 1 hr of not showing up at my new apartment I called to complain to the receptionist. She told me they were on their way. It took another 30mins after the call for the movers to arrive. As they arrived my landlord helped bring in items with me & my neighbor watched. Well over the quote I knew something was not right so I started to take photos of my items in the truck showing how little of stuff I had to move. I have been with different companies who had charged me 1/2 the amount and I had more items so I knew something was not right and I expressed this to the movers. They were not concerned at all. When they asked for the money I withdrew $400 to give to them, I told them that was more was then the 3hr quote and I know they are trying to rip me off. The proceeded to yell at me then left. August 2nd I went to use my credit card and noticed it did not work because there was no money in it. The movers had taken out $766 with out my consent or knowledge. I did not sign any papers or contracts. I did not give consent for any money to be taken off my credit card. I had spoken to the receptionist again the same day to express my concern for what they did and she made excuses. Said a manager would call me but never did. I Also told them about damages to my items and they never compensated me for the items that were broken. August 2nd I have filed a dispute through my credit card company due to the transaction I did not give permission. I have 2 witnesses who saw what had happened, spoke to my lawyer and made sure I took photos of damages, how many items I had and the contract that was never signed by me. I would like to be refunded as well as compensated for my broken items. I am prepared to take this company to small claims court if need be
