Unable to Locate paid for reservation

I reserved and paid for a car with a member of Turo in July. I than added on to that car share a few days before my trip for Aug 31 of this year. I took a lyft to the location 30 minutes from my location as i have done in the past. Once i arrived i discovered the car was not there. I contacted the owner the number was disconnected. I messaged him no answer. Panicked because i spent a little over 500 dollars it felt like a scam. The first agent hung up the second was helpful but condescending. He wanted me to wait 10 days for a refund but after i spoke sternly and repeated your companies legalities he spoke a different tune. Now the owner casually calls me from a different number saying o my bad i forgot to give the new address which by the way he had AMPLE time to change in the app especially for customers safety. He provided me with a new address NOT listed in the app as i was in another car share uber to get back home. His actions were shady and we read in the paper countless tradgedies this sounded weird. Anyway ive been talking to turo for 48hrs i finally got my refund but now they are giving me a hard time about a promised reimbursement for the car share as i would not have used it except i was going to get a car. This has been a horrible experience and id like my reimbursement. Suffice it to say i used turo in the past it was awesome but now it doesnt seem safe.

Horrible practice and experience!

We rented a Rolls Royce from Jesus. Upon return, Jesus checked car out, everything was fine. Next thing you know we get a damage report submitted with pics that were so blatantly not how we gave car back. Clearly, Jesus wanted a new paint job. We submitted a reply on the Turo app And waited a couple weeks for A response. There was no reply so we called and they said they sent an email saying to reply with additional info . We asked what email and gave the one that is on the app and they stated wasnt it. Weve tried to call 6 separate times to get resolution with no one knowing what to do and promising call Backs that never happen. Not sure what other info would be needed when we stated facts and provided proof with pictures and texts. Jesus got $2k for rental and we lost our $500 Deposit for nothing- we used Turo many times but never once thought there would be someone so outright shady to try to come up off us. We will never use this app again

Unauthorized charge of fraudulent damage.

DO NOT USE TURO! They charged us over $2K in "damages" after the host accused use of causing damage to a part of the car that was never in use. The host never proved the damage to Turo and was easily issued $2,083.94 in fraudulent damages claim. We have gotten the runaround from Turo and will be filing in small claims court. Turo has awful customer service, never responds to messages or calls customers back. Absolutely awful, avoid at all costs.

Dispute

They allow a host to scam them & me regarding a rental that the host damaged and vandalized to collect money from Turo. I have tons of video & photos showing the car was left in pristine condition. The host is a crook and Turo charge me for the host destroying his own car to collect money and Turo allowed this to happen. The host didnt bank on me having my own video & photos. The guest is not protected from these criminals hosts scam people out of their money and causing damages to their own cars to collect money via FRAUD!!!

My request for rental never went through

Please just let me rent a car. I need to talk to a 'person' about this as I'm unable to complete my application on your web sight. I just want to rent a car, not have so many question requests that don't go through.

Horrible

I just need to speak to a supervisor and I cant seem to get a supervisor to call me Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Awful, awful, awful disgusting, disgusting, disgusting, disgusting, draining, draining, draining, draining, draining, draining, draining the life out of me.

Charge

Disputing a claim that you charged me for damages without notifying me. Trip was over 3 months ago. No one calls back. No one follows up. No one knows anything. Customer service is useless and you hide behind it saying a guest can't contact claims adjuster or the supervisor for that department. Next step is hearing from my lawyer.

Lack of host accountability and allowed retaliation

Host Ziaul K (HOUSTON), got upset about my review regarding his lack of concern regarding customer safety and vehicle maintenance, so he decided to add a cleaning fee. It was initially denied, but then he was allowed to file another complaint AFTER changing his listing from pets allowed to No animals. I've complained and I'm in the middle of the second dispute now. If I had not taken pictures of his original posting I wouldn't have anything to stand on. My phone is old so I didn't have great pictures, but I really hope customer service stands by it's initial ruling and also kicks him off of the app! TheAVOID host is trying to manipulate the situation in his favor. The host's first attempt was denied, so he modified the listing and submitted a new complaint in order to make sure he could collect more money from me due to the review I left. This is retaliation and manipulation of Turo's policies.

I went to jail for a car that had a bad tag

I went to jail for one turos cars. The tag do not go to the car and they want me to pay for it. How does that work?

Denied to rent a car

After all the years of a clear record and nothing held against me ever, I went to rent a car for the first time since my truck broke down and still is due to the sell of wrong spark plugs and received a message back hours later that I wasn't able to rent and needed to all customer service. I was told it was because someone had an account under my phone number and while I have had the same number for some time now, apparently the person before me had a Turo Account which I never did till the day I tried and was unable to. I was told to verify the email, well none of mine ended in Yahoo and the one on file wasn't even one heard of. I was able to get them to send me the forms to sign and send back, which I have done now and still nothing back or lifted. I am having to depend on my mom to rent one and then I cant even add as a driver to the same block to account due to my phone number registered to an account email I dont have.

Unresolved issue

The post clearly states $69pr day. The receipt shows $78.?? I was told insurance mandatory, wrong. I was over charged for both insurance/vehicle. Attempted to resolve w/chat support ppl& cancelled within a hr of making the reservation.

Quoted one fee but charged another higher fee

ID 2122**** I screenshot the itinerary and cost but then went to book it the same day and the fee for the exact same itinerary was more money. I used Turks phone chat and Marcus couldnt help me at all. Its impossible to find someone to talk to, can only chat online or text like this. Id like a refund of the difference between the screenshot price and what I was actually charged when I booked it. Its like false advertising. This is my first use of Turo.

I’m still waiting for a response and someone to contact me.

I found the car I wanted and took a screenshot of the car and invoice to show my husband then I booked it a few hours later and the price was much higher for exact same itinerary. My very first experience with Turo and an issue at the start. Very difficult to try and talk to a real person. I texted on your chat forum and they couldnt help me. I would greatly appreciate a refund for the difference of my screenshot and what Turo charged me. Thank you
