No Customer Service

I recently purchased a lawnmower from your site, and not only have I not received an email confirmation or tracking number, but every customer service line and chat feature I try for assistance rings an error message. I am issuing a stop payment through my bank until someone can resolve this issue for me. Thank you.

Determine year, model of my Troy Built riding mower. ID tags are gone

First off Im not a pissed consumer. No the site couldnt help me determine the model or age of my riding mower. MTD did suggest I take to a repair shop to see if they could help me with that information process. Since the ID tag is gone off the motor (Kohler), the Kohler engine customer service representative figured out the vintage of it. That itself gives me some idea of the age of the mower. My CS4325 chipper shredder will not start - and there's zero information available

Documentation that came with my CS4325 is joke. The label on the machine gives starting instructions that do not work. Finally, there is no support from Troy-Bilt to figure out why the engine will not start. My advice is don't spend any money on Troy-Bilt products when they refuse to offer any support. Not satisfied with the operation of the self propelled lawn mower

I have had the mower for two years. The motor is fine, a Briggs and Stratton. The self propelled equipment is terrible. The front wheel drive has no traction. it is not heavy enough in front for traction. The front wheel drive is way too fast. The pulley ratio for the drive was not correctly engineered. The mower handle is too heavy causing the front wheel drive to lose traction. Last, the mower deck clogs up so fast that it is necessary to clear the grass out of it every few minutes. This seems to be the problem with all the new mowers. Are these mowers all made by MTD? I would not recommend them to anyone.

Three month old Troy Bilt mower

Purchased 23" 3 in 1 Troy Bilt RWD mower from Menard's 4/15/23 Second time I used it the plastic engine cover came off. The pull string was the only thing holding it. Called to find out how to get missing bolts. Was told no longer available from Troy Bilt. I was not willing to accept that answer, asked to speak to someone else, and was directed to call Briggs and Stratton. No luck. Took bolts out of my old mower to temporarily fix. Three weeks later, a huge chunk of the aluminum casting broke off the motor. The front of the motor is no longer attached to the deck, just bounces up and down. I called Troy Bilt, again, and was given a case number and told to take to an authorized servicer. I just received a call from the servicer stating Troy Bilt will not warranty. Stating that I must have hit something. There is absolutely nothing I can hit or run over, besides grass, in my yard. By far the worst consumer experience. I am now on a crusade. FORCED TO GIVE A STAR. They do not deserve one.

I purchased a Troy built pony riding longmower in August of 2022. I've had issues with it. I took it into the shop before I took it to the shop. I called customer service. They told me they would pay

Miss information from customer service reps. They need to be properly trained. Do your homework first, make sure you're talking to a qualified customer service. Representative who knows what they're talking about.

Troy bilt whipper snipper

I purchased a Troy bilt whipper snipper at Kents mt pearl nl on July 03 went home to cut my grass. But experiencedtrouble right away. With grass clogging the spoil causing the machine to bog out. Went back to Kents next day. July 4 to return it. Was told it had Togo for warranty. I asked warranty for what. Its brand new she replied. That is the process Im like ur kidding no we cant take the product back unless we get credit from Troy bilt I was told the paper is in the package. Do not return to store. How do I know that till I get home and open the package. Nobody at Kents told me anything. So now Im out 250 dollars if ye dont contact Kents in mt pearl nl To giv me a refund. I guess Ill use my other options. All I want is my money back. As of now Im using an old home lite and a electric whipper snipper that I got no issues with. The people that do the warranty here cant fix it unless it needs a part I am more frustrated every day. Please refund my money

Discontinued 5 inch wheels for push mower

You just dont offer 5 inch wheel products namely 5 inch hubcaps any more Im rebuilding an older mower with a new deck and other parts and you dont make the parts I need Guess I have to get 8 inch wheels *** do you fit 8 inch wheels on a mower that requires 5 inch wheels??? Buy a whole new front axle clip I guess.. A little help would be nice guys

Terrible customer service.

I ordered and paid for next day delivery. 5 days later, no part. Tried to contact customer service. Broken trimmer

I bought a Troy Built gas trimmer from Menards in Casper Wyoming. After 45 minutes of use the spool assembly separated and the bolt was seized and snapped off when I tried to remove it. I took it back to Menards and they told me that I have to take it to a place called Hoods landscaping. It has been there a month and they have been trying to see if Troy Built will cover it but they cannot get an answer. In the meantime I have no weed eater. Mike Atkinson 307763****

Troybuilt Products and Service are TERRIBLE - DO NOT BUY TROYBUILT

Bought a Troybuilt Self-Propelled Walk-behind Lawnmower in 2021. Used it once and cannot get it started. Supposedly still under its 3-year warranty, but unable to contact Troybuilt by phone or email or any way at all. They simply do NOT want to service their customers nor support their product. They never answer the 1-80*-***-**** number, recording says "call back during business hours", no matter what time you call. I guess they don't have any business hours. The only "support" they offer is a worthless chat bot.

Complaint

Received wheeled string mower damaged in a cardboard box, called troybilt many times hours waiting on hold no one ever answers, i gave up and fixed it all myself, pullcord unit bashed in, gas cap broke and still is gas leaks all over when u tip it, both upright arms for the handle were broke off, I welded angle steel on them to the body, the top ends of the arms were bent, had to straighten and weld a cross angle steel from side to side to keep the flimsy wheels from dragging on the uprights, it all kinda works now. I fiquire time, materials and labor troybilt owes me $250 and a new gas cap. Tried troybilt website to order a gas cap and string and your website dont work either. Not a very happy camper. Customer service didn't answer for an hour, told me I had to call a different number to cancel order for parts they don't have but already paid for

Entered an order on website, needed parts badly. Called for shipping update, after being on hold for an hour, finally was told parts not available. Customer service said they couldn't cancel order and gave a different number to call for "level" of service. Waiting on hold for an 1-1/2, no answer. Can't even cancel order online, can't talk to anyone. Ordered somewhere else and probably out my money now. Awful customer service.

Piece of junk, no warranty help

Bought a chainsaw at Menards. total piece of junk. Chain wont stay adjusted. I spend more time screwing around with the chain than cutting. Menards won't take it back cause its had gas in it.. Surprise! A gas powered chainsaw that has had gas in it??? Troy bilt is making me take it Farm and Fleet to have it looked at for repair or replacement. They cant fix the fact that its a oile of crap, and I dont want a replacement. So, $300 down the drain, another $800 to take down the tree I bought the chainsaw to cut down, and a bunch of time wasted screwing around with the thind. Just buy a damn Stihl...
