Horrible attempt to stay here

Dont ever stay at this location or any other Wyndham property totally totally unprofessional dirty no return calls general manager of the property is a total disappointment

Horrible hotel

There was a pile of garbage just off the lobby area. I called Expedia to try and cancel, they say they had to call the hotel. The manager refused to give me a refund as I was out of the cancellation policy. I tried to give them a chance but upon room review, I found hair in the bed, stains and burns on the sheet. I received my deposit back, but the room rate was not refunded. Absolutely disgusted.

Can't rate as far the stay never made it due to the population of deer potroling SC highways, but as far as public relations with hotel and Priceline Travel they have earned,they suck badges

First time to use Priceline made reservations got in a accident hours before check in at 3 , called before 1 talk to motel employee he said he would take care of it. But Priceline Travel on debit card amount of $123.28 that received payment. Never heard or able to talk with any human all text when tried to cancel reservation. Was told have to call motel to cancel. Still haven't seen my refund from Priceline Travel , or motel . That is bad pissy, unprofessional from both parties. Never use again.

Customer service

I was treated very unfairly at the check in counter by a woman name Olishia, she was very nasty i felt overcharged simply because she didnt like me and her character but judge mental, and she was racist against My family.

Extracharges

We were charged more than the cost of the room for having a small pet. We were assigned the room despite the night clerk clearly seeing that we had a dog. The next morning a staff member was perched in the hallway and informed us we could not have our small dog in that room.We made no attempt to hide the dog in this pet friendly NOT hotel. We were then charged a fine more than the room rate and treated like criminals. The clerk refused to show me the policy or take a picture of it. I travel a lot for many years and have never been treated this badly anywhere in the world. This was a scam. I was told that the night clerk would not have done that. Well that is a lie. Do not stay here; they are not honest and are not pet friendly.

I had a reservation for June 30 through July 1 2023 at the Travelodge by Windham in Silver Spring MD. When we arrived we were greeted with courtesy given keys and directed to our room. Our room was terrible. It appeared to have not undergone any maintenance in a very long time. To begin with the entry door appeared to have been damaged with *** through the door and was patched by gluing stiff paper over the holes. Inside the room, it was obvious that the photos used to encourage booking were not of this property. They were obviously stock photographs. The draperies were hanging loose from the curtain rod. The electric cord to the mini fridge would not stay in the wall outlet so the fridge was useless. The bathroom was filthy with damage to the walls door and bathtub. The lights over the sink were useless and I was unable to shave the following morning. We stayed in room 418 and I am including photos. I wonder how such a well known company with a better than average reputation would stoop so low as to charge me $90.40 to stay in such a shamble of a room. We probably should have since the air conditioner vent would only point at the floor. My sheet was soaked with sweat when I woke up. If one were to look up ridiculous in the dictionary, a picture of this facility would be shown.

Cimplait

I was told by manager that he would kick out my feionce for having phones calls transferred to her room that is her right to have contact through the phone prived to her by hotel as part of purchase of room I swear if he kicks her out I will sue

Very upset. Horrible place.

I made my reservation ahead of time and called to make sure they'd have a king size bed available, they assured me they would. When I checked in they said they only had a king bed in one of their unremodled rooms. They gave me a key, i opened the room, and burst into tears. I didn't even want to set my luggage on the floor it was disgusting. I went back to the office, they gave me a room with 2 double beds, what I didn't want. When I opened that room, the ac didn't work. I told the front desk and went across the street to the bar to cool off after moving my luggage around the property. When I finally got back to the room, the ac was on, that's it. They got it to come on, but it wouldn't get cold. My boyfriend finally took the cover off and saw how disgusting the coils were and cleaned them. Then it finally got cold. Then I saw the TV didn't work. I told the front desk. I stayed there for 5 days, they didn't fix my TV the entire time. Didn't offer me any compensation. We're incredibly rude. These people should NOT work in hospitality. They do NOT want to help people! After checking out, I still have not gotten my $100 deposit back!

Refund

I ordered a room and booked in when I went to the room it was horrible that's the only word I can think of it the floors was buckling one of them sunk in when my fiance stepped on the floor. The linen was far from fresh the quality of the room was somewhere somebody homeless would go stay the night I never been to a place like it before went back to the front desk about 2-3 seconds after I walked in for a refund and I did not get my refund I'm still fighting for a refund. The motel says I have to get it from who I booked with and who I booked with says I have to get it from the hotel. I just know it was a nightmare. I don't even know if I want to put up the fight for the $108 that they stole from me but I wouldn't recommend this for a homeless dog. If anyone recommend this room or this hotel to anyone they do not like you I will definitely read reviews before I book another online appointment with any other hotel/motel that says Wyndham again.

I will never go to a travel lodge again

Toliet leakes outlits worn out have to use microwave in bathroom to work. Ice maker is not working for weeks. This place sucks.Thay do there best but obviously there low on the totem poll. I'm ready to fix this my self and send a bill to you. Microwave cord isent long enough to reach the only outlet in the room. The only other is in the bathroom GFI.

Disgusting room and refund refusal. I didn't end up staying there, but they're still keeping my money!

I made this reservation close to the location where I was taking a class in Fort Myers, FL. Upon arrival, the front desk staff gave me a smoking room in the 500's hall even though I requested a non smoking room. I spent 5 mins in that room and got a headache due to the intense smell. I asked to be relocated and the front desk staff relocated me to the 300's hall. When I got into this room, the smell was still bad, though not of cigarette smoke. I put my stuff in the room and went out to purchase air fresheners and watch the sunset. When I got back to the room a few hours later I tried the air freshener, in hopes that I could suffer through the stench. I tried to plug my phone in to an outlet to charge and it did not work. I tried to use the lights in between the two beds, and neither one of the lights worked. I tried to connect to the hotel wi-fi to do some work for my class, and was unsuccessful both on my phone and my computer. I got into one of the beds and was immediately bit by a bug. I threw the covers back and a bug of some sort flew out, leaving a welt on my ankle for days. I checked underneath both beds for more bugs and thankfully I didn't see any bugs, but there was heaps of trash under both beds. Included in this trash was a TV remote, a bag of chips, clumps of hair, change, hair bands, lots of dirt/sand/pebbles, and someone's fake fingernail! It was completely disgusting. The bathtub had rust holes, the drywall was cracking in the bathroom, the air conditioning unit was filthy, walls were in disrepair and there were multiple stains on the carpet. Did I mention that the room also smelled really bad? I sat on the bed trying to convince myself to fall asleep, and I became more and more anxious. I decided to leave and find another hotel that was cleaner, had working amenities and felt safer. I checked out around 11:30pm that same evening, all in all it was less than 5 hours. I came back the next day (Friday, May 19) and spoke with the manager on duty, Delphine Centry, directly, face to face. She was polite and listened to my dissatisfaction and to my face verbally agreed to a full refund. I asked her how to confirm and she said that I would need to let the booking party know. It seemed simple and pleasant enough, however, I have now been back and forth with the booking party for over a month and they are claiming that Delphine Centry is not agreeing to what she agreed to with me - to my face. They are claiming that I stayed there for two nights and will only issue me a refund for 2 nights instead of the 4 that I booked. This was a non-cancellable room per the booking agent, and I really tried to stay there. However, the product I received did not match the description of what I was purchasing. I agreed to pay for a clean, safe room with working amenities and that is not what I received, making our agreement null and void. Therefore my request for a full refund continues and will continue until it is met. I sent many photos, disputed it with my bank and it is now June 28th (original booking was May 18th) and the manager will not even address my emails. The 3rd party booking agency Agoda.com is who I paid, and they will not refund my money either without confirmation from the manager - who will not address my correspondence and lied about me staying there for 2 nights. Absolutely shameful practices as far as customer satisfaction is concerned. I will never ever stay at another Travelodge!

Room was dusty both headboards had dust and fingerprints on them. The base of lamps were dusty.went down at 7:30 for breakfast there was only 1 biscuit and a piece of another one. The gravy was empty

Im having issue with this hotel

This place is terrible. I didn't mean to book at this place. I was supposed to be next door. It's bugs crawling around, holes in the bed, phone is detached from the wall with white stuff all over it. No I want my money back and it smells like feet. I told front deck this as well

Room was not able to be stayed in

After paying and getting the key to what they called a studio room it just felt and smelled dirty there were wires hanging out of the wall the thermostate for the heat was almost all gone as the back plate for it was still there the a/c did not work and had pieces missing off it the counter were the sink was looked like the laminate that was on it was starting to bubble up in places and was all stained up and finally behind the tolite was what looked like a piece of counter top covering up the plumbing

Rude Employee at Front Desk

The guy at the front desk was rude and stupid too. I'm leaving out of the country to Dubai and I was doubled charged at Booking.com advised me was an EMPLOYEE ERROR. Told him about this as my bank acct is set to be locked/secured while out of the country in 48 hours. Couldn't get a word in to explain to the under educated person as he was yelling " You have a credit card with limit fund coverage to go to Dubai how can that be" and he hangs up not understanding that I have a deadline to secure all my accounts before leaving. Don't stay here as room has no alarm clock, still many things need repair and staff is rushing and no patience either. Go to other hotels that is professional and COURTEOUSGo
