No return ticket without a date and time of departure.

Trailways from New Paltz New York 12561. Should be classified as a commuter bus. The new law when purchasing a return ticket stating time and date is impossible. If you miss the bus at your designated time there is a 20.00 fee. If you get there too early you cant take an earlier bus without a fee. Not being able to buy a book of tickets with open returns is a severe handicap for those of us who are commuters. There are no late buses so its not possible to do anything on the evening and return. The New policies are impossible. Also the person who has been selling tickets at the station for the last decade gets nastier and nastier. She is now almost ignoring you when you ask for a ticket and offers no advice or information. She must be fired. Ive ridden this bus for thirty years snd now it is impossible. Please adjust.

Trying to reschedule a trip

How to make a scheduling error I could not get with my schedule thing that type that day I could not make it to that stop I tried to get online to just reschedule for the next day your website here is way too choppy and way too hard to manage that you cannot find things if you miss them once it doesn't come back up I didn't want to have to cancel I wanted to reschedule and it never got there you some people for change you can't even talk to customer service that's what made Trailways a great company that had good people and you went to this ridiculous guys so you can make $5 if I reschedule but don't know I couldn't get back to that spot best website made it impossible to reschedule it just could not work to get back to me doing

Never called back for my refund

Omaha. Nebraska is not in business enough to be considered a full time bus company. I brought my ticket in October of 2020 and still the dispatch did not send me my refund to go to Des Moines Iowa. This has been 2-months. Call me at 402-650-****. And send me 2.000.00 for problems and thief of service and fraud. PO Box 11734 **** Meredith st. Omaha Ne 68111.

Watch out for these buses

Driving on the thruway (87 north ) coming home from Mahwah New Jersey behind a trailways bus plenty of distance between this vehicle an my car and I noticed droplets of what I thought was rain on my windshield and quickly realized it wasnt rain as my windshield wipers couldnt get what ever it was off my windshield ..... it was oil and it was blowing out of the back of this bus as I took a harder look ... shame on you *** people and your mechanics for Allowing a bus that blows oil the way this bus was to be on the road ......

I called your 1-800 number and I received a woman that answered the phone hello! She didn't say Trailways she didn't say anything as a matter of fact she absolutely knew nothing I don't know where you find your customer service employees but you need to do a better job

Very bad and unprofessional

Me and my wife was going to Canada to celebrate our honeymoon. trailways bus company lost our luggage. We try to contact several people at the station to help us with no success. We finally go an official officer to help us. We haven’t gotta our luggage back yet. We had over $2,500 worth of materials as clothes, sneakers, jacket etc.... this company is very unprofessional.

Terrible service and prices for said service

Trailways is one of the worst services I’ve ever had. The bus drivers are often rude and brash with no provocation. The website never works and has incorrect information. The tickets are rather pricey for such crap service but atlas apparently they are a monopoly and there is little choice in the matter

Worst experience ever

The bus was already over a hour late leaving Lansing Michigan then after approximately 45 minutes into the bus route north the driver announced that they were turning back around and going BACK TO LANSING For we were given no explanation of why? Then for some reason again they canceled and staying on route thank goodness .However it was just enough to get the passengers all upset and mad.Just to go another hour on the road and got north of Clare Michigan and again the bus driver announced we had to turn around and go back to Claire Michigan WTF . They needed to get more passengers that were late. OMG WHO EVEN DOES THIS. So now we will be arriving approximately two hours late. What a dysfunctional Bus system. Then I was charged a additional 18.00 dollars for buying the ticket at the terminal . Because it was short notice and The website wouldn’t allow me to purchase it 1 hour prior to departure

Denial of disabled person onto bus

I dropped off a elderly disabled customer of ours to catch the 9:15 bus out of Glendive MT who unfortunately was involved in a car accident while heading home to Minnesota and the bus driver denied him entry to the bus because "his words were slurred and he couldn't hold his head up properly so he must be drunk". The person in question had cancer as well as current ongoing medical issues. The chemo therapy weakend his muscles in his neck and shrank his vocal cords. Thus explains his inability to talk and hold his head up properly. He has been stranded here in town for 2 days trying to figure out how to get home and is out of his medications as he was supposed to be home two days ago...way to go trailways that is excellent customer service...I honestly will never recommend your company to another customer we have if your company feels the need to discriminate on disabled individuals

Several months ago, Greyhound contracted with the City of Roswell, NM for our local transit department – Pecos Trails Transit System – to serve as their station here in Roswell. The former location at 1100 N Virginia Ave has been permanently closed. The current location is 515 N Main St and the phone # is now (575)622-****. No show by Trailways driver

We arrived in Porto airport, Portugal on the afternoon of 28 of Oct 18 and searched for our driver. We know that they can be hard to find given the last ride in Budapest, where they were at the very back of the arrivals area with a small name on an A4 sheet of paper. There is a dedicated area for transport drivers with name cards at Porto airport, they weren't there either. After 2 hours we gave up as most people had left the airport lounge. We emailed our change for pick up time to Trail ways on the 23 Oct 18. We contacted Trail ways again on 4 Nov, on line, but to no avail. I don't expect a refund, so think about it before you pay in advance. The anguish caused by this can be very disturbing and costly to the passenger and I cant stress this enough, that this company is unreliable.

ADA rights violation no good customer service

People with disabilties have the right ti be treated as equal and just be ause a d7sabled man in a a wheel chair wants ti get of for breaks he or sge should gladly do it without beimg r7fe or cindesending. Amd he shouldnt tatget other older dusable people either when they openly state that the persin in the wheel chair ahoukd be treated as an equal. Not blame thrm fir a chair thry didnt move. I helped moved rmthe wheel chair. Another gentleman moved the seat but he threatemed to thriw me off the bus. This is disoarity of treatment and a violation on many counts violation of our ada rights. Maybe you shoukd train your people with patience and undestandimg and what can kand tailways in a kaw suit. I didmt move the seat onmy the wheel chaor bevause your bus driver ignored the qustion for help but then threatened to throw me off but not the caucasian folks threatenkng spit balks or apray8ng pefume. They at keast get athe courtesy of not be spoken to like a criminalistic low life.
