Very poor quality

My wife purchased a used Suzuki Burgman 650 with a Tow Pac trike kit installed. I immediately noticed that the wheels had a negative camber without her on it. I assumed the previous owner deliberately sat them that way for her preferred handling. My wife hit a speed bump at about 10 mph and the left hand wheel bent out so much that the tire was barely touching the pavement on the inner edge of the tire. I went to adjust it and found that it had bent the plate on the bracket. I cut that plate off and welded on a heavier one which corrected the problem. I then looked at the right side and found the reason for the Camber was that that plate was also bent a little. Those plates should be made of a heavier steel or a support added to prevent them from bending so easily.

I am very disappointed with TOW PAC the Trike Kit Manufacture!!!

The kit is still under warranty until September 1st of 2022 !!! This was there reply of the email that I sent them: < service@***.net The warranty does not cover hardware. Seing as how the bolt is welded into the bracket, we can sell the bracket at a discounted price of $28 plus shipping. I think it will fit into a small flat rate box, which costs about $10 to ship.> I had a 5/16 ( soft steel ) bolt sheer off that is part of the mounting of the kit,so I went ahead and drilled all four out and ( 2 per side ) and got grade "8" bolts and had a welder weld them in for me. I would think twice about dealing with them and if you do ask for specific what exactly is covered under warranty!!! 1st 3 pictures are from the broken bolt. Last 2 are from the new welded ones. Tow Pac never contacted me or ever offered me any support.I will never buy any of their Trike Kits ever again.2-19-23 Basilie A.

Rudeness and no help when sent a inquiry for help.

I had bought a used Tow Pac trike kit that came off a Harley Davison. I want to use it on my 1996 Honda Magna. I'm on a fixed income, but if there was a way to make it work on my motorcycle with there help I would pay for any equipment. All I asked for was plans on how it would attach to my Honda. They said they don't sell plans and the trike kit I have would not work. That is all they sent back. There customer service was not good or polite.

I have had problems since day one not even one year into having this installed I was not honored my warranty.

I think that there is a default with this particular trike kit. I have not been happy at all. Now I am getting shotty parts that I've paid for. I bought it through Bargers All Sport and they don't deal with this company anymore. I am replacing bushings about once a month on the left side. My 2 year warranty just expired 9 days ago.

I have had problems with the system since day one. My warranty was not honored and I have had to replace left bushings continually. The new fenders I ordered have been sanded on

I have had issues with it since day one. I had to order new fenders due to a motorcycle accident and me hitting motorcycle debris which broke the fenders. somebody sanded on them fenders before they were sent to me. It has been a constant with having to spend money and make repairs. My warranty was not honored when I ask for it.

I recently purchased a Tow-PAC Trike Kit from a 3rd party for my o6 Harley Road Glide.

It was a basic bolt on trike kit. We had to spend $20 for difference bolts/nuts that were longer because we used spacers to have some additional space so the frame did not touch the tail pipes. Passenger foot rests needed longer bolts so you could not use Harley factory bolts. The setup was easy to attach. Patience, creativity, and some mechanical know- how and you are home free with a nice ride !

Poor engineering, poor quality, poor customer service

Tow-Pac manufactures an add on outrigger type set of wheels for motorcycles. They recently announced they now have a kit for the Indian Challenger. I ordered one from them, this is what I learned. I bought the kit to add extra stability while towing a camping trailer. The plan was once I arrive at my destination I remove the extra wheels and I am back on two wheels to ride the twisties. They claim fifteen minutes to remove, 15 minutes to put back on. That is only if you leave those ugly brackets on your $30,000.00 motorcycle all the time. Their brackets attach to the saddlebag guard mounts and the passenger foot peg mounts. Once installed you can not remove the upper plastic from the sides of the motorcycle. The left side must be removed to adjust the rear shock and it will certainly need adjustment after the extra wheels are removed. Both sides must be removed to get to the seat bolts. This could be resolved by using larger spacers between the brackets and the attachment points. The only problem is that would widen the overall width ¼ to ½ inch and the lower bracket would no longer fit. They assumed you would not have saddle bag guards on a Challenger, guess they didn't look at Build your bike. You could put the bag guards on over the brackets if they had been a little more thorough with their design. The bottom attachment point has a big piece of steel in the way. I can grind it off. Altering their bracket voids their warranty. They did a good job on the attachment at the passenger's footrest, if you have only pegs. I have floorboards for the passenger. The hex bolt they provided will not work with floorboards.
