Took the money and ran
He hired to men from TNH Home Improvements who had their name on a list from Menards. I realize Menards does not endorse these workers, just stating facts. After doing a substantial amount of work for us and doing it well as well, we hired one of the men named Jackie Wright to re-grout our kitchen floor. At this point Jackie asked if we would forward the money to him because he was a little short on cash. My husband felt he and Jackie had built a great working relationship and that Jack was trustworthy so we wrote a check. That was the last we saw of Jackie. If your thinking it was our stupid fault for being so trustworthy, some people still believe in the human spirit.
