I have been a long-term subscriber.

I moved from Nevada to Utah over a year ago and have been charged for an electronic subscription to the W.P. for over a year which I have not been able to electronically access. That was what I was calling about and I was clear that I wasn't prepared to pay $12 per month going forward. A $4 per week or $40 per year offer was made and this is acceptable.Subscribe to the best news source in the U.S.

Delivery service

I have had to contact the Post at least once a week to report no paper delivery. On numerous occasions, I have been promised redelivery promptly. As often as not, redelivery never occurs. When I call back to report that the redelivery did not occur, I am told that it is too late to do anything except giving me a credit on my next bill. I pay my subscription annually in advance. At this point I have decided not to renew and probably cancel my current subscription and request a refund. I have been promised a call back on numerous occasions to resolve this issue. I have had one call back a few months ago, but the problem continues. I believe the Post has breached the contract they made to deliver the paper by 7:00 AM daily. I purchased this subscription with the understanding that I would receive the service promised. Im sure that Im not the only customer with this issue. Class action suit anyone?

Unresolved delivery problems

I have had numerous delivery problems and had the paper delivered later and that's fine. I appreciate that. The real problem is worse. I am 85 years and have been a subscriber forever. I have a bad hip and steps up my deck to my door, For at least the last 10 years the Post has been delivering the paper to the deck so that I don't have to maneuver those steps, which my doctor says I must avoid as much as possible. I cannot see my driveway from the house as it is blocked by my garage so never know if the paper is there or not...this may require more than one trip to check. I called on April 6 and for the next two days, it was on the deck as promised. However, on April 9, 10, 11 it was again in the driveway and my neighbor informed me. I love my Post and hate to give it up so please, please, can you do something to resolve this for me? Thank you.

Dissatisfied Customer/Cancellation of Delivery Requested

Updated by user May 16, 2023
Never heard a word from the Washington Post. No apology or refund was ever received. Canceled our subscription after being after being a loyal customer for 40+ years.

Original review Apr 16, 2023
We notified our local Washington Post Agent 8406 to stop delivery beginning Dec 25 thru April 5 as we were going to Florida for the Winter. The paper was stopped but we still were being billed each month. We requested Agent 8406 to contact the Post to reverse the charges. She told me it had been corrected and it had not. Not only are we dissatisfied with the Agent, we are canceling the delivery. It was a difficult decision as we have been getting the post for 40+ years. We respectfully request you look into this matter and provide feedback. The Copseys Address: 39012 Van Ward Road AbellMd. 20606

Paper is late each day

After trying for two months to contact our carrier, the Washington Post and this service, our paper still arrives around 7:15 to 7:30 each morning. It's advertised to arrive by 6 AM. We would be satisfied if it just got here by 7 o'clock.

Not receiving Sunday inserts

Just realized that the Sunday inserts are no longer included. Why is this for my home delivery? We have received the Sunday paper for years now. What gives?

3/5

The change with less than a month’s notice that my home delivery would no longer be delivered

This sudden and abrupt change to mail delivery is MOST UNWELCOME, especially as we will not receive the Sunday (and probably Saturday) newspapers until Monday. We like to read the paper relatively early in the day. Our mail is not delivered until mid-to -late afternoon.
