Can I still use 6 - 8 year old tile, never used?

You gave me a code to call customer service. No one was available to help me. My question still stands: can I use/activate very old, never used tiles. They could be 10 years old even. Help? Please reply. Thank you Annyunbehaun@***.com

Can’t sign into tile account

Had Android.Got new iPhone.Tried going into my tile account but said password was wrong.I sent an I forgot password.Was sent numbers ,I inputted these but kept telling me I already had an account. Wouldnt let me change password to get in.

Delivery company stinks!!! (Commack Store)

While we were pleased with the Tile Shop itself and the help we received when we accepted delivery we noticed that they packed seven boxes of the wrong color floor tile. After a phone call it was resolved and they sent the tile that we ordered. However, the delivery company that they utilized had a driver/delivery person that was totally incompetent!!! He was supposed to take back the seven boxes of the wrong color tile but attempted to take back the entire order including our wall tiles and grout!!. I told the driver six or seven times not to do it and had to resort to threatening to call the police if he stole the wall tile we had paid for previously. The delivery slip stated the seven box delivery and pickup - not a 22 box pickup!! The guy didn't even read to slip!! After about one hour and calls to both the delivery company and the Tile Shop the issue was finally corrected. However, it did take a whole bunch of yelling to get the driver to listen. If you buy from this store please be careful of the delivery so that you don't have to go through what I had to.

Not good quality of tiles

Bought over 8,000 dollars of tile for my house, and they send me a different one wasn't the one I had to pick at the store. They said they had changed vendors and keep the same tile number for the new tile. The tile is porcelain made with a very rough material and doesn't have any shine, so it is very hard to keep it clean. My Tiles came from Turkey . So beware when you buy something from Tile Shop that you receive what you paid for. style="background-c

Very Pissed!

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY! Not Customer Friendly Nor Customer Appreciative! Our Contractor Purchased ALL Of Our New Bathroom Materials At The Tile Shop Totalling A Little Over $2,200.00. The Bathroom Is Entirely Black &;;;;;;;;;;; White With The Exception Of The Shower Drain Cover Being Stainless.. (Not A Perfect Match) We Asked Brian The Manager To Swap It Out For A Black Shower Cover.. He Said We Would Have To Pay An Additional $56.00! After Spending $2,200.00 + It Seemed Only Reasonable That 2.5% Of The Sale ($56) Could/Should Have Been Swapped Out To Retain A Happy Customer. Brian Refused. Good Advice. Spend Your Money ANYWHERE But At The Tile Shop. A Very Disatisfied Customer!

Poor customer service

Such rude people. While I was annoyed it was the 4th time I had to go in for issues with my order, they were completely rude. Don't visit them!

Terrible service

Walked in was barely acknowledged. Nick- the only person working at the time- looked annoyed that a customer would be bothering him. He barely left the desk he was standing at. Had no idea what I was looking at- needed help so I asked a few questions. He condescendingly waved an arm in the direction of several aisles. Wasn't offered help or suggestions. I walked out. NEVER shop here!

Awful store to deal with horrible management

We bought over $10,000 worth of tile from their store in Nanuet NY. We picked it all out, easy. When we went to get it delivered we were ignored for a number of days buy the girl helping us then told we can’t pick a delivery day because they have a third party delivery service and they just deliver whenever. Nice. But it gets worse. The sales associate helping us ordered the wrong stuff. She over ordered by over $500 of one of the tiles and completely omitted a time we needed. Seemed simple enough to order exactly what was on the proposal given to us. Nope. When we went to try and get the refund we were told they would try and refund us as close to the error we paid as they could? What kind of place does this? Also we were told we have to take the thousands of pounds of tile back ourselves In our own car and then pick up the new tile because of their “third party delivery company” they said it’s just better than being charged another delivery fee and getting it “whenever.” What an extremely unprofessional company to deal with, horrible staff that seems completely useless to fix their own error. Some how we half to do the extra leg work for their mistake and now our bathroom is delayed an entire week by them on a project that has been going on since June. What An awful store and company to deal with. We better get a full refund on all that tile mistakenly ordered or else this complain will go even further. I have no idea how this company stays in business treating customers that have spent money their like this. They should own up to their mistake, pay for the re-delivery of the new tile and get it to us ASAP and make right with the wrong tile THEY ordered us. Horrible place.

Disastrous

The tile shop refered tile contractor who caused 3 leaks - major damage, gsllon of water came out of my ceiling. Wedi Representative did not care - he knew the tile contractor lack skills but let him installit anyway.Wedi waterproofing system is over priced - had to tear it out and redo with another waterproofing system. Tike contractor also installed wrong size and installed it incorrectly. He glued shower valve - did not anchored it.

Beware of Installer List

Used an installer from their list of "screened" installers. Turned out to be a fraud and dishonest. Used letter head and fake email that looked like the company. Turned out he was a subcontractor used for odd jobs. He was not an employee of the company and the company did not install tile. Dishonest with charges and damaged house - cut walls into next room, cut water line and patched with caulking which led to flooding, cut out a stud that I had to replace, etc. I understand that employees are highly leveraged on commission. Thus there is probably more focus on enhancing their sales than the quality of work. Run....

Inexperienced sales associates with excuses

In the past back in 2010, I had a good experience at the Oakwood, Ohio Tile Shop. On February 21,2019, I went in with a contractor and we found the selections of tile that I was interested in purchasing. A salesperson named Keith greeted us. The contractor had all his measurements. With all the selections and square footage, I was expecting to get a "store quote" of how much the materials were going to cost. Keith even mentioned that I should be getting 2 extras for the fancy tile with the mirrors and marble. I had selected that and the black floor tile previously when I was at the North Olmsted, Ohio store. I wanted to look at wall tile for the inside of the shower. All these materials were supposed to be on the inside of the shower. I had also mentioned to Keith that I had applied for a credit card about 1.5 years ago and to check to see if the credit card was open. Keith kept complaining about the new computer system or something. I don't care about your issues. You are here to represent your product and company. I gave your company as a whole 4 stars but the young man Keith has a lot to learn about customer service and helping customers. If there was an issue with the computers, he should have asked for HELP. No one knows everything not even a younger person. Second of all, other contractors and stores have "honored" giving me a handwritten estimate on a notepad and emailing it to me or faxing me the "estimate" of how much materials will cost. I had them sign it and hold them to the estimate. After reading "other reviews" of your overall company, it seems like the Tile Shop has some serious problems all across the company. Your products are nice but what about the quality customer service? I will only be ordering the "exact amount of fancy tiles at $50 a 12 inch square. This way there won't be "issues of your company's return policy". I read about the "issues with return policy" at other stores across America. I had a very long conversation with Tom, Assistant Manager at Oakwood. I got the impression that Keith knew that I was expecting an estimate. When I called on Saturday late afternoon, I was expecting Keith or someone else to be "working on the estimate" for all the materials that I was plan on ordering, maybe not today but in 6 months, definitely yes. I had heard that your store folks get commission on the customer purchases. I will be meeting with Tom at the Oakwood store late Friday after work. I would like to have all the credit card approvals necessary and all the information of my selections in your computer with a printout and how much it's going to cost. Not every person is suited for a "specific job". Not sure what the deal is with your company and all the dissatisfied customers? Thanks, Janet
