No paper and very, very poor or no customer service

On Sunday, July 23rd we did not receive the Sunday paper. I called the customer service number around 10:30 AM and of course reached an automated service. I went through the very tedious routine indicating that I did not receive the paper and was advised that this paper would be delivered in a few hours. We did not receive this paper and thus needed to buy our own, which cost was $4.88 including tax (I attached a receipt to the e-mail to the Arizona Republic). I did not even include the estimated total price of gas to obtain this paper. The additional concern here is that the Sunday paper had a puzzle/game section for subscribers which I of course I did not receive. On Tuesday, 7/25/23 I did The Republic's chat on line which was wholly unhelpful. I was given a numbers for customer complaints which is, to say the least, extremely annoying and total unhelpful, since this was the automated service again and the questions to answer were totally unsuitable for what my concerns were at this point and still are. If the answers are not given per the programmed answering service it disconnects the call. In my e-mail to the paper I requested the following: 1. To be reimbursed for the $4.88 that was spent buying a newspaper (copy of receipt was attached to the e-mail). 2. To get a credit for last Sunday's paper since this was not delivered. 3. That the puzzle/games section from last Sundays paper (7/23/23) would be delivered/send to me without delay. 4. That one of your customer service people call me with an apology for the effort and frustration I went through trying to get the paper, trying to reach a customer service representative, and developing the e-mail. 5. That the paper set up a system for customers to reach a real life person who can help with complaints which cannot be made and processed through the so very defective and irritating answering system. I have been a subscriber this paper since January 2013 and certainly do not accept or excuse their very poor customer service system. If I would have a choice of another paper I would certainly start subscribing to that paper and not to the Republic anymore. I am not certain that this paper realizes that when they have no subscribers that they do not have a paper. I would think this to be an impetus for them to highly improve their customer service which currently is sorely lacking. I followed up with another e-mail to the newspaper on 07/17/23 and they still have not had the decency to acknowledge my complaint. The silence from their side is deafening!!!

No paper delivery for SIX days although contacted newspaper every day with complaint

Ive gotten o newspaper delivery for six days now, although Ive notified them each day about the problem.

My parents have Ben getting the paper for the past 60 Years and in the past 3 yrs the serviceand delivery have been terrible

Your paper delivery service has become increasingly terrible and inconsistent my parents depend on the paper for news they are old school, and arent media savvy

Where’s my paper???

Hi, pissed consumer here, I have received one paper since Sunday of last week on Wednesday of last week. Not one before or since. I have spoken to your so called customer service people day after day and have yet to speak to one who actually had a clue and who was barely articulate, thats not fair, there may have been two. I am sick of empty promises and getting a credit, when all I really want is my paper that I have paid for and some actual customer service. This, and I cant stress this enough, is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Please, could someone CALL me and explain and help me resolve this problem? Im not going anywhere and I will be a pain in the *** until its taken care of, thanks for your attention, Sheril Browning Flagstaff, AZ 928-699-****

Cancelling The Arizona Republic.

I cancelled delivery of The Arizona Republic on April 21,2023 Delivery continues into the month of May. I have called Customer Service twice. I have had two chats online with Customer Service. They told me that the subscription has been cancelled, I received calls from The Arizona Republics phone number 603 444-****. One of the calls was harassing. Nobody said anything during the other calls. A young Customer Service representative thought that was funny. It is not. Nobody listens to anyone.I will NEVER subscribe to The Arizona Republic again.

Incompetent customer service

No response from anyone only disconnect. Irritating to the max. No prson to answer the phone or correct problems with delivery, billing or anything else.

The problem continues to exist i.e have missed receiving several Sunday newspapers

I have talked to 3 different employees in the past about the problem & have been told the delivery problem would be taken care of!!!.. BUT TO NO AVAIL!

System asks for recertification, but will not grant access to enewspaper. Long term customer. What is wrong?

Fraudulent charge

Poor customer service

First of all there is no way to contact them if you have an issue. Constantly late delivery if you even get delivery. Constantly Wednesday and Sunday papers are not delivered, of course the days when the ads come out, and because we subscribe to the paper we don't get the ads in the mail. Please deliver my newspaper!!!

Couple concerns

ASU just swept the UofA in baseball and there is NO word in the sports section about these games and it's PAC-12 Baseball. I'd like to see some coverage of all ASU sports. Also, the comment by Mr. Moore about Coach Hurley's son not knowing X and O's if they were on the bottom of a love letter is reprehensible, at best. Where does he get off saying such disgusting things about a young kid who's got enough pressure on him, trying to play basketball for his dad, who was an All American guard at Duke! Also, on another point. I love doing the Jumble daily but why do you wait until the following Sunday to ;put the prior Sunday's answer for the Jumble, in the paper? Can't you just put it in the Monday edition? I can almost always figure it out but, every once in a while i'd like a little help with the answer. Also do not like the left leaning articles by Montini and other so-called journalists!

Newspaper not delivered

I have paid to get daily newspaper delivery. Sundays paper did not show up and neither did todays (Tuesday). I notified them and todays paper came in a very short while. Thank you.

Overcharged for paper that wasn't even delivered

Autopayed, didn't get paper for weeks, tried to cancel, they said they would give me month of free papers and then charged me 3 times what it would have been. They said they wouldn't charge me again until the end of April but they usually don't follow through. Their deliver and customer serviced are awful.

Delivery Issue

Repeated delivery issue of AZ Republic. Have called no less than 12 times ( and that is not fabricated), to report issue. Always assured it will be taken care of. Never happens. The crazy thing is that our neighbors across the street get the paper yet no delivery to our house. Call center is off shore and there is NO WAY to reach a local supervisor or request a call back. Ready to cancel

Poor customer service!

Poor customer service. My print edition cancelled since my credit card expired and they did not inform me. Very poor company to do business with. Plus, their stories are always one-sided!
