Happiness

I made a mistake when I finalize my payment through the keypad (selfpay). I Typed in the wrong tip amount, I explained my issue to this customer service agent and my issue was solved immediately. I am happy with the solution and definitely I will be back.

We never got our food

At 42 minutes after we arrived, we were told our food was getting ready to come out after one hour and 12 minutes we were told her ticket was lost and that it was going to be at least another 10 minutes before food came out. We just got up and left.

Bad experience with managing partner

I was eating my dinner someone started chemically washing the floor 2 feet from my table. I asked them to stop. Lady yelled at me that she was cleaning up vomit. I mediately lost my appetite. I mentioned the Health Department and she went ballistic. She must have severe issues with them. She told to shut up and finish my dinner. I told her no way I could eat now. When the nice server brought the bill I asked for the manager. The manager came and it was the same person yelling at about the vomit. I asked for my dinner to be compted and she yelled that I would pay and then she threw my out and said never come back! What away to treat a Handicapped customer for asking to stop cleaning the floor next to my table. I was the company Doctor for PBJ Restaurant group in Johnson County for 35 years. I know how employees are to treat customers!!! This lady manager should be fired!! I will tell all of my Patients to never go to Texas Roadhouse on Metcalf Johnson County KansasIfff

Issue at a restaurant

I ordered a to go place and the chicken fried steak was burnt and hard . I called to talk to a manager and was left on hold and no one ever returned to acknowledge my complaint. I live a distance from the restaurant and that's just unprofessional and unnecessary. Our ordered was over 100.00 and I'm very upset.

All are steaks where not cooked we ordered medium well they where bleeding the food was horrible we didnt get to eat because it was bad

Total botched dinner out for me..

Hello been to this roadhouse 6801 Black Horse Pike Building 400, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 many times always been excellent.. But tonight sat july 8,2023 was unbelievable.. Took the family out to dinner, Ordered our meal started out good till main courses arrived.. everyones was good , but mine, 8 oz steak w/ mushrooms onions & fries came out as plain steak & fries... another waiter dropped off our food and before could get a word out he was gone.. good 10- 15 mins looking for our waiter or any waiter was in vain,, finally grabbed a bus person to find our waiter..who was to busy conversing and laughing with other tables on other side of the room, finally came told him of the problem and requested a new order for this was wrong and now un touched & cold . Another 10 15 mins till new one comes, no apologies nothing... Oh yeah a joke about small hard frie pieces that were picked out and dropped in a glass for they were not edible... You making a smoothie?? By then the rest of my family was done eating while mine just arrived.. said just give me a plastic to go container so can just take mine home. Not going to sit here and eat now that everyone else is done... . Then told us about the bill on the electric thingie on the table... was the last we seen of him... This really ruined my diner out with my family...

Had to leave in an ambulance

It was my mother-in-law's birthday. When we entered, we noticed it was warm. We were seated in some small room off to the side. We were squeezed in to a single booth with two additional chairs for a party of nine. After ordering our food and receiving our appetizers, we asked if they could possibly turn the AC up. They then informed us that the AC was broken, but that they were working on it. We didn't leave because we had already received our appetizers and were waiting on the entrées we ordered. It became progressively hotter in the small room. I went to the restroom and almost passed out from the heat. Upon my return, I see an almost empty table and an ambulance outside. I came to find out right after I left my father-in-law stepped outside to get some air, it was so hot we could barely breathe while fanning ourselves with our menus. As soon as he stepped outside, he passed out. The ambulance arrived while we were pouring water on him to try and cool him off. A manager came out and offered no help but requested we make an accident report, not sure what the "accident" would have been. Someone came to the table I was still at with the children and asked if we were ready for the check, which I found super insensitive. I asked if they thought we should have to pay the full bill based on our experience. I guess they thought we should, since the manager stared blankly at me. I requested some sort of discount, honestly I'm irritated that I had to ask. I didn't even eat the food I ordered and paid for. They took a small portion of our bill off, I was not satisfied but did not argue; since we were attempting to leave and get to the hospital and I had children with me whom were obviously freaked out. In the end, we didn't receive a call or an email to see how my father-in-law was. I honestly expected some kind of contact since they had a patron taken away in an ambulance while dining in their restaurant due to an issue they caused. So for my mother-in-law's birthday, she gets a surprise hospital/ambulance bill and a husband in the hospital following the meal set in ***

Bad Experience

When I visited the location in Horn Lake, MS the other day we had to eat 2 hours and 23 minutes. When I got the text saying that the table was ready it really wasnt ready we still waited to be seated. When the lady seated us she had two baskets of rolls in her hand we sat down me my husband and five kids and nobody ever came back we was at the table over an hour without drinks anything just the rolls. I called for an manager all he could offer was an appetizer because the kids were hungry.We was called to be seated at 6:30 pm we didnt get food until 8:26pm everyone in the section where we was sitting had ate and and new set of people was around us and we still was there. I was very upset by time I got my food I didnt even eat it. I will not be visiting this location anymore. If I do it will only be take out because sitting in was horrible for me and my family

Food was cold. Waited 45 minutes after pickup time manager didn't seem to care.

I ordered at around 430pm today Sunday June 11 2023. Pickup time was 530, I didn't receive my food until 613 pm to get home and all the food was cold . Order was wrong as well they missed a Ceasar salad . Web order was 903****, web order 35 turkey creek, Knoxville tennessee.i want a refund food is cold!

Poor customer service

Where do I start? My family and I eat at one of your locations in Boynton Beach, Florida twice a week. Today we went to eat there I ordered a half rib with fries and broccoli the ribs were cold, hard and overcooked I expressed my concern to Nicki in which she was great she went to her manager Dana to ask for the meal to be re-done she said no she took my food that I was eating to warm it up. When she brought the food to me, I asked her if she wanted me to eat the same food I started to eat, she was like oh well what did you want us to do? I replied to her, I would have preferred to get the food remake, she was very rude about it. Then another manager came she has a purple shirt, I did get her name because she removed her name tag. I explained the situation to her, and she did not do anything about it and I express to her that I had a white couple next to me who did not like her food you went an exchange the whole meal, she just gave us a stinky eye and left. I ended up paying for my check as I did not want to make a big deal about the situation and tape Nikki as she was very nice throughout the situation. While I went outside all mad another black couple left because they experience the same issue with Manger Dana and the general that was on duty today June 7th 2023. Now longhorn will see me twice a day, you lose a good customer.

Poor service

My birthday was the 5th and my kids took me out from the start the waitress was rude. After receiving the food the steak is was still bloody. We ordered fried pickles that was soft not cooked well. They had no bread for the night they Ssid it's to late. I ate my broccoli by itself which was good. My kids was very upset and mad I was not able to get happy birthday song. But all very disappointed for 70$ meal..

Not satisfied with service

The problem was I placed my order on the web paid for it on the web like always. While sitting in the parking lot waiting I observed another guess order food at the window. This guess received there food 10 minutes before I did? I received my food 10 minutes later than it was supposed to be ready. When I asked why I was told that orders at the window sometimes get filled faster than the orders online because the system times out. I do not believe that. She didn't even apologize or try to make it right, instead she lied. And on top of that we didn't get our extra dressing and...one of the salads was wrong. Terrible Mother's Day Experience

Where do I start? There were multiple problems with our Mother's Day meal. 1. We placed the order online at 11:30. It was supposed to be ready at 12:45. It wasn't ready until 1:15. It seems that ordering through the app lets you place the order early, but you can't with online ordering. We were told that they were taking orders at 9:00 that morning, which was why there was a delay. 2. We ordered a cactus blossom but didn't get it at all. 3. We had 6 total full meals and only got 4 bread rolls. Several of us had to split rolls. 4. There were only 2 cinnamon butters included, no regular butter as requested for the mashed potatoes. 5. The kids meal was steak and macaroni. We paid 99 cents extra for kraft (which is ridiculous for a steakhouse anyway) and didn't get it. Of course, we had a child in absolute tears because of that. He only had steak to eat, no side at all since he doesn't eat green beans which came instead of macaroni. 6. There was no drink with the kids meal. He should have gotten a Dr. Pepper with his meal but there was nothing at all. 7. We ordered 4 Road Kill meals- all well done. One of them was absolutely pink in the middle, so it went to the trash. 8. Another (the one that was correctly plain) was absolutely burnt to the point of being inedible. 9. Another was supposed to have mushrooms and onions, but it was plain. (We were only supposed to have one plain one. ) It also looked like a big chunk was taken out of it. 10. The child's steak was very dry. My husband and I tried it, and it was very dry. 11. The to- go waitress was very rude and not helpful at all. 12. The half bread roll that I got was stone cold and wouldn't melt butter. 13. I'm adding this the day after my review because I forgot about it... they also ran out of baked potatoes an hour after opening...I mean, come on, really? Today's meal was one of the worst meals we've ever gotten from a restaurant. It makes me sick to my stomach to think we paid $75 for a meal with this many problems. Some of the items were good, but with all the negatives (and a crying child), we simply couldn't enjoy it. UPDATE- Well, I received a phone call from someone at Texas Roadhouse. I assume it was a manager, but I'm not sure. She started off reading my review out loud and unsincerely apologized for the delay in our order, saying it was due to Mother's Day. I tried to explain that I understood that and would not have had a problem if not for the multiple other problems. She barely let me get a word in and continued talking in an abrupt and frustrated manner. I did not get the impression that she was sorry about it experience at all. I mentioned that my daughter picked up the food while I was trying to explain what happened and she cut me off and said she didn't need to talk with me then, she needed to talk with my daughter, not me. I tried again to say something, and she interrupted again. Finally, I got frustrated and said, "If you're trying to help resolve the situation, you need to hush and let me talk." At that point, she rudely said, "have a good day" and hung up. Why call to resolve a problem and be rude about it? She interrupted me about 4 times and never let me complete a sentence. She had an aggressive, frustrated tone from the moment I answered the phone. I get it... they were busy yesterday. So was everyone else. Don't take it out on the customers who spent almost $100 for a meal and still had to find something to eat at home. I'm sure they don't like bad reviews, and she got stuck having to call me. As I tried to explain to her... any one or two of the problems mentioned could have been excused, but 12/13 different issues...I don't think so. If they train their employees the way she spoke to me, no wonder there were problems. Lack of integrity in your job will always cause problems. When you call someone to resolve a complaint, be prepared to be nice about it.
