Pay your money and never hear from them again

A Tech Energy sales consultant attended my home in Dec 2012, and I agreed to purchase a high quality 6 Kw Solar panel system with inverter for my home. I paid the full amount in December 2012. The contract was for supply and installation to be completed within 7 days. It is now the first day of March 2013. I have had no products or services delivered to me. I have tried calling Tech Energy Corp at all their offices, they do not answer the phone, nor do they return the recorded messages that I leave with them. They are currently in breach of the contract we signed, I have very little re-course except to waste my own money and time engaging a lawyer to begin a lawsuit in the faint hopes of getting my money back. I am sadly coming to the realisation that I have been the victim of a well organised and rehearsed "scam". I feel so very foolish as I did some homework prior to calling them and thought this was one of the more reputable operators. If you are planning on a large purchase, only pay a deposit up front, regardless of what they say, that way you are less exposed to unconscionable business practices, should things not go so swimmingly. The old saying still applies....Don't pay the ferryman, until he gets you to the other side !! From Neil.
