Hacked bank account

My td bank account got hacked and they said I authorized the transactions but I never said yes $500,$500,1000

Excellent service

I was at the drive through making a deposit. At home I had just noticed that even though I had ordered new checks many weeks before I hadn't received them. So I asked Sita what do you think happened? I was concerned that someone had stolen them. She immediately checked and found out the order hadn't gone through (I had made the order on the phone) and ordered them for me. That was a relief for me one more thing not to have to worry about. She is always pleasant, helpful and does a great job.

Need to talk to someone

We were there yesterday and were able to achieved what we wanted. Thank God for that and a credit to the security man and excellent job to the banker who helped us. Nice one.keep it up . We tried all the banks to open a joint account, it was one thing or the other, do this, bring that and so on. Meanwhile what we presented to them was the same items that we presented to TD bank and we were able to get it.bravo guys.

Lousy service

I called 3x in order to change my phone number as without the current number you are locked out of your TD online account. The first two times I waited over an hour and the third time about 25 minutes. When I told her I needed to give her my new phone number so that I can do some online banking she said my number could not be verified and as such won't be changing it for me. When they first came to Brooklyn about 15 years ago they kept very late hours, gave out lollypops and pens, dog biscuits for our canine companions and just bent over backwards to please you. Those days are long gone. I have a sizeable account with them and have been with them 13 years and I deserve better.

I notified TD bank that I was going to be out of the country but it seemed to be a problem getting a toll free number is difficult if you have a problem.

When you call and you are trying to get someone to talk to but you are hanging on the line with nothing coming to a conclusion because you keep nowhere. That sucked.

I've lost thousands of dollars because of TD Banl

You expect your money to be safe in a bank. You also expect your bank to be on your side and protect you from fraud, scams, etc. HOWEVER, I have ost thousands of dollars, over the years, as a TD Bank customer. I've lost money in credit card disputes, and, most recently, I was scammed out of $1500, and, despite the fact that TD is VIOLATION OF A FEDERAL LAW, REGULATION E, they denied my fraud claim. This is the last straw! I am taking my money elsewhere and I advise ANYONE thinking of opening an account with them to think twice. I'm wondering if the bank is in cahoots with the scammers, at this point. There is NO CONSUMER PROTECTION and worst of all, because TD is so large, everything is completely impersonal. While you can file a dispute at a local branch, you never actually get the opportunity to speak with the dispute office. It's a cold, soulless institution and I am withdrawing all of my money ASAP!

TDBANK sent back an inheritance check from a legitimate lawyer just because I had never made that high of a deposit before as being suspicious

I have gone hungry and without shoes because social security told me it could take 30 days to straighten out TD Bank mess just because I never made that high of a deposit before at that branch then cancelled accounts and tell me go to a different bank

I received a inheritance check from a lawyer my local TD Bank sent the check back to the lawyers as suspicious because I had never made that high of a deposit before then they closed all accounts the day before disability checks and sent all my direct deposit back to sender so I went the entire month of September waiting for my direct deposit to be straightened out because it could take 30 days

Accusations of fraud

Someone hacked my account and did a fraudulent activity so they close my account and you wont give me my money I want my money I need my money to pay my bills you have $400 for up to 500 of my money I want my money

The worse service ever.............

My Mother has been trying to get a hold of Loss Prevention for about 1 month now, and there is never a human that answers the phone. The TD staff at my Dad's branch are just as incompetent, and have no clue. His account has been frozen, and in order to fix, you need to speak with LP's. My parents use this account to pay bills, and it's pretty sad you have no access or anyone to rectify the problem...maybe the media should hear about TD's practices. Totally pissed, and glad to be a CIBC member. Reply back ASAP is appreciated.

Ghetto practices

Went to call TD to confirm amount in bank second time this day. Ghetto woman treats me like Im *** because well, shes ghetto and thinks that Im just going to be intimidated by her and then-click disconnected just like that. hung up and had to call TD an additional6 times for one good employee to explain my real balance. Ghetto ***

Fake credit card

They send a credit card to you then they put a block on it so it can't be used then they say it's under review for fraud but you can't use or cancel it till their investigation is over with it they are a joke

Unable to help my situation

Needed to freeze my account. Did not recollect my USERNAME. Knew my password and was offering to give it in exchange for username. Was unable to retrieve my USERNAME in order to freeze my debit card temporarily, despite signing up for voice recognition, which logically should be the only verification needed for any service whatsoever. All the while funds are at risk of being accessed due to my phone being stolen.

TD Bank destroyed my checking account on Quicken

All I wanted to do was be update my checking and credit card automatically through One Step Update. On March 19, 2022, I called customer service with questions about Quicken not downloading checking and credit card transactions, waited 1.5 hours on hold. I spent another hour on the phone with tech support. Tech support kept making it worse by changing my user name numerous times. I was instructed to restore a previous backup of the database, reactivate my accounts to use Direct Connect instead of the old Express Web Connect. When I ran One Step Update, my checking account balance showed large negative balances going back to 2006 and all my categories didnt make any sense. When I first got off the phone, I couldnt even remember what my user name was. Now, my current username (Mark_083) doesnt match up with the old back up. If Quicken has me restore the old back up again the update won't be able to connect to TD Bank. I now have 2 credit cards set up for TD Bank with balances higher than my real credit card. On my checking account, the Payee and Categories are so messed up that it's impossible to know who was paid what and when. Which makes my Quicken program absolutely useless. My most recent Child Support payment shows Payee as Saucon Valley Cafeteria and Category as Tax:State. And the list goes on and on back to 2006. At this point, my best option is to uninstall Quicken and delete the data files from my computer. TD Bank made the situation unimaginably worse; I should not have to be the one to fix it.
