Complaint

Not good company they dont work with you. I tried everything with them theyre not helping me at all. I want to keep my vehicle

I have a new loan for my vehicle from Hollywood Toyota, FL and would like to have registration to online pay

Purchased a Toyota Corolla, have account number but can not sign up for online pay from my Bank. Need statement with closing date, due date, address to mail check, slip to enclose with payment. Name, write on the check. Simple the normal thing received all the time from credit cards etc.

Awful customer service

I have been trying to resolve a complaint but I get stonewalled and sent in circles with no one trying to assist me the customer since 2017. They must only care about how to get people to take out a loan and they're not interested in helping you when you get close to paying off the loan. They seem to want to mess up your credit rating by lying about your paying of your bill. Faylene Faison

The worst

Im 53 and have bought a lot of vehicles, TD Auto is the worst Ive ever dealt with and Ive financed two vehicles with them and regret it both times. Dont ask them for help, forget about that. If you buy through a dodge dealer tell them before they run your credit to not send it to TD.

No lien release and payoff documents after 2 months!

Made my final payment 2 months ago and still have not received my payoff documents and lien release. I emailed them twice and called them 4 times! Spoke to a supervisor the last time who assured me he would personally see to it that I received them by Monday and said he'd call me back. None of that happened. Crickets! I was never late on a payment; my entire contract was paid perfectly and now that its finished, I'm of no value to them as a customer. I reported them to the Attorney Generals Office.

Save yourself the headache

I am so pissed! We purchased a vehicle through a dealership and they set our loan up with TD Auto. We got a payoff quote through our online account that said it was good until 3/18/2022. I mailed the cashier's check on 3/8/2022. I sent it priority with tracking. As of 3/15 they still had not processed it. I sent a request to have it processed since the payoff amount said it was only good until 3/18/2022. It was finally processed on like 3/17/2022. My account was closed. I have not been able to get a consistent answer from any of the 6-7 reps I've spoken with about the lien release. I was told it was mailed to the bank on the cashier's check because they thought it was a refinance..... even though I included the payoff quote printout exactly as they instructed to on their website. I have someone waiting to purchase the truck. I asked if they could send it to me instead or email or fax. They cannot e-mail but I was told they could fax directly to the tag office. This was a Friday. I asked if it would be that day or the following Monday. I was told the following Monday. It was never faxed. Today, I spoke with 4 different representatives after the first 2 "disconnected" me. Out of all 4 each of them had a different response and answer and each of them still said it was a refinance when it wasn't. I made that clear to the other reps before them. They are unhelpful, rude and inconsistent. They closed my TD Auto account online, but they still haven't reported anything to the credit bureaus and I'm so afraid they are going to keep trying to screw me!

No place to acutally contact

you can't get passed the first number on the phone ...you got to enter the phone number or contract....no option to speak with someone or talk about something other than what they are asking....very controlled by this and prevents complaints

Nothing is simple

Cant find what Im looking for Site wont let me proceed saying there is error with passwords Changed them 20 god damn times still an issue I just want to access how much I have owing on my car but leave it to TD auto to never reveal that information and force customers on never ending round bouts Click bait You will not get answer through them Dont bother signing up for their apps or online services it doesnt work I am so infuriated with this process Im struggling to find the words Waste of my time I am so beyond upset and frustrated with this process I dont know what to do with myself

Fill like I have been screwed by this company

They lie. Don't tell the truth about payoff, then charge you with a charge-off. They have screwed up my credit for 7 yrs. Go somewhere else for the money you need.

Poor customer Service/they owe me money

I had an auto loan with TD. When the loan was active I got excellent customer service. I got in an accident and the car was written off. My check from the insurance company covered the remaining loan plus 2500 for me. I was told by TD auto finance that any branch can assist and provide me the remaining funds. TD branches tell me nope... we don't do that, you don't have an account with us. You need to go to TD auto finance. Since they got their money and closed my loan they wont pick up. They own me 2500 and no check or bank deposit has occurred. They have my banking details as they took money gladly from my Scotia bank account but somehow can't deposit into that same account. This experience and the fact that I am owed 2500 and NO ONE IS PICKING UP THE PHONE - has completely removed any business from me or my loved ones going forward for this bank. I have been on hold every day since Sept 2 for 1 - 2 hours. I have to hang up as Im at work. At the moment I write this, I've been on hold for 1.5 hours. Disgusting. Once I handed them the check they suddenly don't pic deals with me.

Payment

They seem to have a system that blocks ANY AND ALL numbers to TD once youve contacted them. Im late on payments and after finally getting a U.S. person on the line I got to someone who could help me. Or so I thought. 4 hours of transfers later they tell me that to qualify for a 2 month payment deferral, which they tout on their website, I would first need to make a payment plus accrued interest. When I scrounged up the money to do so I tried calling. Not one number I tried would go through. They had scrambled them all.. WTH?

Needed info to payoff deceased mothers car.

I have made multiple attempts to acquire a payoff balance for my deceased mothers car, and obtain title to give to my 18 year old daughter. ( 10-12 attempts) they finally stated (13th attempt ) 31/2 years later they would accept payments, but wouldnt issue receipts for them. Nor would they give a balance for payoff amount. 31/2 years later, when vehicle has sat this entire time and eaten up by mice and sun baked in the state of Nevada, the vehicle is now unusable, soo bad the wrecking yard doesnt want it. What a waste of time and car over a couple of hundred dollars come to find out.. pissed off.
