Window Replacement
Called several places for quotes to have my recently purchased older home windows replaced. I received quotes form 6100.00 (Taylors) to over 11,000.00 with another companies. The other company was getting windows from yet another company and had yet another company to install the. I could see the mess I'd have if there was a problem. Taylors sales rep told me the lead time needed to make my windows locally and install them due their lead time. Taylors informed my windows were being made and scheduled an install date. The installer (Oleg and Bobby) called me ahead of time of install date. Oleg and Bobby were polite, professional and worked like a well oiled piece of machine. Once they completed their work the work areas were vacuumed inside and outside. I turned down my thermostat that night. I would recommend Taylors to anyone for their window replacement, I'd use them again in a hear beat. Darrell H. Anderson, SC

Bad experience
Salesman disappears after giving estimate. No follow up, would not return calls, and we were ready to do business. The corporate office listened to our complaint, but did not offer a new salesman or discount off windows for our troubles. Taylors does not seem to care about doing business or making a sale. Would not trust them to put my windows in with their work ethic!

Posted last review. Im now compelled to add more. After talking to mark the sales manager at taylors with my complaint about misrepresentation of the product his sales man tried to sell me. He sided with his salesperson saying he trained him and he was not lieing to me . i then got the owner who sided again with his salesman. This showed me i was right they show you their best window but sell you a cheaper onr without showing it to you. Heres where it gets good .i get a email from the salesman telling me he offered to come back the next day and show me the product i called there little lie on . the next day. This was done over i decided not them . but after the follow up lieing i felt compelled to let consumers know. They had the job i would have used them if it was honest. It wasnt i was lied to and that lie was backed from salesperson to salesmanager to the owner. To bad if they were honest they would have my deposit today but they were not. I would recomnend extreme caution using taylor windows

Had rep to my house tried to sell me silver series windows but showed the platinum series as what i was buying. Claiming the window was just mechanically attached rather than fully welded. When reseaching i noticed he lied and it was a different window . sleezy sales is easily discovered with little research called taylors they confirmed he lied they were different. If you value honesty wouldnt be my choice misrepresentation of product was evedant i tried abd tried to get them to come clean liked the windows but in the end sleezy sales overcomes real customer knowledge and satisfaction. Watch out for these sales scams. True and faithful accessment of taylors is misrepresrntation of the product you are actually going to get. Thanks respectfully frustrated with sleeze

I HAD CALLED TAYLOR TO CONTINUE REPLACING SOME WINDOWS IN MY HOME, SINCE I AM UNABLE TO GET THEM A.LL AT ONE TIME. MARVIN MCDONALD CAME OUT TO MY HOME, MEASURED THE WINDOWS I WAS WANTING TO DO, WROTE ME A ESTIMATE, WHICH I EXCEPTED, I WAS TOLD I WOULD PAY HALF NOW THEN THE OTHER HALF WHEN THE JOB WAS DONE. I EXCEPTED, THIS CONTRACT WAS DONE ON JUNE 12TH 2013, AT THAT TIME I WAS TOLD IN THREE WEEKS, THEY WOULD BE OUT TO PUT IN THE WINDOWS. I RECEIVED A EMAIL ON JUNE 6TH TELLING ME THEY WERE BEING MANUFACTURED.NO CALL I CALLED 3 TIMES ,NO RETURN CALL SO I CALLED BACK ON JULY 17 TALK TO SOMEONE, THEY SAID THEY WERE BEING MANUFACTURED. I TOLD HER OF MY EMAIL. LATER A DEBBIE CALLS AND LEAVES A MESSAGE TO RETURN HER CALL . I WISH I HAD CHECKED WITH ANOTHER COMPANY I AM VERY DISSATIFIED

Bough 7 windows in great condition. Theother 5 purchased later had defects. Did not shut property were loose. # guys came out at different times. Tried to fix them and nothing worked. Called the company said they had a new design.... what???? new design that does not shut properly???? and they say new design. WOuld never ever recomend this company to anyone.Horrible customer service. Always say they will call back and never do. Sent out guys to job sites that look high and do not know what they are doing. thied lying to us. just plain dumb and rediculous.

Taylors Windows - Good Windows - Poorly Managed Business
Taylors installed replacement windows at our property. We had to fight to get them onsite. They did not come when they said they would and rescheduled when we called to ask where they were. They performed additional siding work on a door for which they advised they would send a final invoice and that payment was not due until that invoice was sent. One of the windows installed was crooked, but the installer advised "that was the best he could do" and refused to fix it. We had to have one sash replaced immediately that was poorly made - screws holding latch were stripped. We had to call the installers out again to clean up broken glass in the flower beds... eventually I ended up cleaning up the mess. The final invoice was never sent. Instead, we received an email telling us Taylors was in the process of filing a mechanics lien against us. No phone call. No other correspondence. Just a letter from the attorney. Do not use Taylors Windows. You have enough problems in your life.

Shady sales by Taylors Windows
Got a few window estimates, one was from Taylors Window and Screen in Summerville SC. I wanted their warranty in writing but the slick salesman kept trying to dance around it, but did say it was on their website. Low and behold, after a tedious search I did eventually find it(not the easiest to navigate to). Just what I expected, It doesn't even come close to their competitors. It opens the homeowner up to all kinds of potential expenses. Now I know why you get the written part AFTER the subcontractors install your windows. Quite shady to me so I went elsewhere!
