Stay away

This is in regards to the Tarkett laminate flooring , non water proof sold at Menards. The locking system is crap. The floor will move since the locking system does not work. Doesnt matter if it looks good if the locking system does not work. Its junk, stay away from Tarkett and any floors sold at Menards

The company won’t replace my floor.

I replaced my carpet with Target laminate. It wasnt cheap.I loved it but when I sprayed it with 2 types of cleaner it released this god awful smell. It smelled for days.I complained And they sent an inspector out.He smelled it but somehow he told them nothing was wrong.LiarHe smelled it and couldnt deny he didnt.Menards suck. They should replace it.Im stuck with it.Im soo pissed.

Poor Quality

The floor is cupping and Tarkett would not stand behind their product. They sent their expert who 100% attributed the problem to me. Worst product and customer service I have ever experienced..

Product is crap

My wife liked the look, so we bought it. Had to wait 2 years to get help with installation (pretty good-sized room). Buddy who finally had time to help (from out of state) recommended we box it back up and return it after installing 2 1/2 rows. I mentioned the 2-year winndow and he rolled his eyes and said we'd do what we had to. Wouldn't lock together, and even if it initially did, it would separate after another row. I'd done a few other laminate floors previously. 2 by myself, including a glue-together before the locking systems came into play, and this was the most pain-in-the-butt project I have ever been a part of (and I have been renovating a 120-year-old house for over 25 years...) This product is less than worthless. We ended up pin-nailing 7/8ths of the floor down. Doesn't look bad, if you don't look close...

Dealer claim denied

Tarkett Aloft lvt floating floor was installed according to tarketts installation instructions. In less than 12 months some of the end joints seperated mainly in the traffic areas.

Dealers claim to Tarkett refused

Tarkett product Aloft ,installed observing tarketts installation guidelines particularly the fact that the floor was installed over 3/4 tongue and groove plywood on floor joists on 16 inch centers. End joints are coming apart in main traffic areas.

Defective vinyl floor

I bought click vinyl floor ultimate luxuary and after 6 month assemble popped up everywhere and tarketr technician very promply said that was a defective assemble because there was no space for floor dilatation, of course it is amazing the x ray of that lad, because i saw the evolution of the work and the recommended 3 mm were guaranteed. This is the worse floor i ever saw. Probably the chimical formula for Portugal is not the correct one.

This is a joke on the public

Not sure how this junk can be passed off as flooring. It might work for wrapping paper. Waste of money and time. Clearly, Tarkett is not concerned about people. A rating of zero or less.

Lies and defective product.

The first row of flooring goes in perfectly. Then the nightmare begins. It is impossible to get this mouse trap locking system to work.Stagger or straight on ? It Doesn't matter .The gaps wont close .If you buy all the necessary tools ,like i did,it wont work. The edges pop up from the constant hammering, the flimsy edges will break. If your sub floor is not 110 percent level, it will pop apart. I lay concrete block for 10 years.I can do anything to a home. This is the worst product i ever tried to install. Returned it all ,put down 24 by 24 porcelain perfect.Fk tarkeet cheap crap

Spend a few bucks more on quality or less money on similar looks

Simple small closet. $100 in opened unreturnable garbage! Didnt stay locked in place with 1/4 gap not holding them in place. Solution construction adhesive, no 1/4 gap, Cuss words and missed the game. On the plus side my 5 yr old now knows how to use the f-bomb!

Junk don’t buy

Mine is only 3 years old. Menards sent a guy out to inspect &;;;;;; he was a dip *** He said he use to lay floor for a living but he could hardly walk. Now its shrinking & pulling away from my carpet & walls. worst flooring ever cheaply made cardboard junk parts were it suppose to lock in chip and make it a pain to put together when you get them locked in they come apart on you and do not line up properly go with a better brand I put flooring in and no problem but Tarkett you will be pissed off and want to throw it as far as you can outside.

Buyer Beware

Cheaply made. Installed like in installation video bought everything recommended according website and packaging. When locking them into place they are breaking apart and not fitting tight like they should. We are a low income family and had to remove carpets do to our sons medical issues and can afford to replace it again. I know it says a 25 yr warranty.

Won't lock.

Following common sense directions, staggering butt joints, the next row of 4' pieces will not lock wherever there is a butt joint, which is LOL every 4 feet. One 4' piece next to another locks perfectly, but when staggered as necessary, absolute no go. Beautiful stuff, would be easy to lay but for the locking seam problem, I have reluctantly decided to return it all. Now what to use instead is the problem. Maybe just a sheet of vinyl that looks like wood ? at least it would be water proof resistant, though likely twice as expensive.
