Complaint against TAMRON lens serial 117965 purchased thorough AMAZON

SUB: COMPLAINT AGAINST TAMRON CAMERA LENS Sir/ Madam, 1.I had purchased Tamron lens 28-300,f /3.5-6.3, VC Canon through Amazon online services vide their invoice No IN 7979, serial No 117965 on 11 March 2019. 2.As I have other lenses too, I used Tamron lens sporadically. I however, found the images to be soft with indistinct edges. Further during my trips for various projects, the images clicked through Tamron lens were found to be comparatively substandard and unfit to be used causing financial loss and mental disturbance as well as that of time and energy. 3.In the initial 7-8 months of purchase the above-mentioned lens was kept unused because of outbreak of COVID and resultant lockdowns. Subsequently, I started using the Lens and realised the rather poor performance. 4. In Feb 2020 I contacted the authorised collection centre i.e. M/s Camera Care, Lucknow, UP , INDIA for repairs. After initial testing, the lens distortion in the images was confirmed and the lens was accepted for repairs. The lens was further sent for repairs/ evaluation to the Repair facility located at GURUGRAM, HARYANA, India. 5. Due to Corona Lockdown, I received the lens in Jul/Aug 2020. However, after testing the lens, I again found the images to be soft and not up to the mark at all leading to dissatisfaction as well as concern. 6.The lens was again repaired through your authorised service centre in Dec 2020. Retesting the lens again confirmed the poor and soft quality of images causing concern. 5.The lens was once more handed over to the collection centre on 27th Jan 2021 because of the same problem and was received in March 2021 without any improvement in the image quality expected for a lens from TAMRON. 6.Thus, for half of the warranty period, my lens has been in the Service Centre causing financial and creative loss to me 7.Being a well-established photo artist, with a post graduate degree in Photography and currently employed as a senior Professor teaching photography in a very reputed Indian University with global presence, I had rated Tamron to be value for money providing acceptable quality of lenses to my students . Unfortunately, the current experience with TAMRON Lens has shattered this image and confidence in using TAMRON lenses.. 8.In light of above and as the product was under warranty period till of late, I request you to provide me a new (with warranty), tested and certified lens. 9.You are requested to intimate the modalities to be followed to return the lens and an early action is requested. Shipping

My lens is under warranty and isn't even a year old and it not focusing all the time. I called to get a RMA and shipping label to ship it back and they said I have to pay to send it back. Why should I have to pay to send it back when its their product that is defective. Most company will pay to ship the product back. this is really poor poor customer service. I will never buy lenses from them again. It would seem that it would worth there while to provide such a small service to there customers.

Tamron DEFECT

I purchased a Tamron lens two years ago paid well over $600.00 The zoom lens adjuster jammed so I returned it to Dodds Cleveland I have to pay for shipping to Tamron even though it was under warranty after some wait I the lens was returned to me, I don't use it a lot and guess what almost the same time this year I am going on vacation and the lens is doing the same thing, Broke again …..So back to Dodds and $21.30 for shipping again…. This is getting old fast I think Tamron should replace this bad bad lens. Tamron AF28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 XRDI LD ASPHERICAL (IF) MACRO LENS
