Setup- 8 camera system only recording 4 cameras

Setting up new system - its an 8 camera unit - all 8 cameras working but only records 4 of the cameras

Tech Support Issues

Tech Support refuses to assist...unless you do the Chat Support. The chat Support is useless. Both attempts they only try to upsell you a new product. Disgusting company. I would never purchased from or recommend this company.

FAULTY SECURITY CAMERA

I have tried to no avail on the chat line and unless I put a generic response into the comment box they repeat a previous response.I am not an electronic able person neither am I computer literate so I cannot get passed stage one. I ask for a contact number and the process reverts to the start again. Why do Swann make contacting them so difficult. Is it a ploy to have consumers give up? The night vision on one camera does not work after 5 months, it is a black screen. I have walked in front of camera but still stays black. the day time it operates perfectly. Surely you must have Field operators to carry out Warranty on the equipment. I await your response with a little hope. the purchase order number is #310**** purchased from you online.

Could not get my mouse to work

Ive been having trouble with my mouse I dont know what is happening thank God that its still working.

Unable to contact

Have issues with system after a break in tried to get help from Swann what a joke that is spent hours trying to work through your systems you really dont want to talk to anybody cant believe how many blocks you can put in a customers way if I could get all the info you guys needed I could solve my own problems this may surprise you but not all your customers are tech experts and just need to talk to someone What a poor effect from your company

I got a new camera the picture shows different I just trying to see whats the settings it post to be on

Customer Service would not help me

Called customer service to ask what osther cameras are compatable with our DVR. He said out cameras were at the "end of life" and and told us to look online. He was rude and basically hung up on us.

"Robotic" customer support experience

I had a home invasion. These creeps scanned my QRCODE and enrolled in their online App service. Basically hijacked my dvr system allowing ty full access to alter all images as they please. Swann's robotic support did nothing after learning about my situation. In fact, I was accused of using inappropriate language and was informed "bots have feeling to" and that Swann has a zero tolerance policy. Note, I have purchased three (3) new systems from them. I am in the process of legal action.

Passwords

I followed all the steps to reset a forgotten password to the DVR! I received zero help but rather an email with steps to take! When I explained to the rep that I already did that and it didnt work no further assistance was made but rather I was told to connect and do the robot chat to help! So basically my Swann system is useless except through live view! Whats the point in having a security system if one can not use it?! Very frustrating and annoying!

Software is a disgrace

I have no complaints about their hardware. But their software has a dozen bugs found within 5 minutes. In many ways it's unusable. I recommend you NOT buy any Swann products due to this fact.

The application it’s stop and I can’t see

The application if I stop and now I can not see anything home safe view and restart and it tells me that the password is wrong

I need help to reset password

I never got any help from anybody or anything I just need a reset code to reset my password and this has been the most terrible thing for the past year I can't believe it is so hard to get a reset code I do not recommend swans to anybody I recommend to get a different security system which I thought it was great until I needed to reset code if you need help you don't get it swans sucks don't buy swans no help with anything from them

Issue with registering a pre owned trackcamera

I bought a trackcam from a thrift store and its registered under the previous owners account How Can it be fix?

Device not working

I have tried to contact them for technical support on why my unit stopped working, with no success. They say they will call back but they don't. You then call back and stay online waiting for someone to answer and they don't answer. You try to find online supoort and there isn't any. I have had to use a backup system for security cameras and I have this sophisticated system that is nothing more than a paperweight. This is beyond frustrating.
