Very unhappy

The suntracker pontoon we purchased 2 weeks ago has a bad tach gauge. Still waiting for one to show up to the dealership. Next we take it out on the river yesterday, and the fuel gauge now wasn't working, ran out of gas, and had to be towed by game officials. Then we get home and had lost one of the trailer wheel bearing covers. Can't really blame it on the dealership service techs as these problems should have never left the manufacturer!

I purchased a brand new pontoon boat, paid cash for it and while having guests on our boat, the seat snapped while someone was sitting on it, and the other one is ready to go soon. It is a safety hazard and a year later were still waiting for a warrantied replacement ! They are obviously faulty because the dealership has had 14 replacements so far. This is unacceptable.

Power bimini top does not work

I purchased a Sun Tracker fishing barge with a power bimini top in 2022. The bimini top has NEVER worked properly! When I tried to contact Sun Tracker, they gave me the runaround, never addressed my concerns and treated me like crap. I was told to keep the controls out of the sun because they overheat. So I spent $37K on a boat and I'm supposed to keep it out of the Sun?? WTF??

Can't get wiring harness for a 2023 bass buggy

Why have a 10 year warranty when you can't get a wiring harness and it's only 6 months old. I regret the purchase.

Rust Stains coming thru Vinyl Floor. From wood.

After about a 1-2 years of owning a 20 ft pontoon DLX FISHING BARGE. There are many apparent rust stains coming thru the wood into the Vinyl. Rust spots all over the floor making the resale of the boat clearly go down and makes it look bad. Its also making the Vinyl turn an awful looking orange. I added the email that proves we requested why this is happening. No resolution. Bass pro is just following commands. Not their fault.

What A Mess

We picked up our new boat in April. We planned a big fishing trip for Labor Day with family flying in. We had put about 20 hours on the boat. The steering was pretty stiff from the beginning but assumed it would loosen up. Wrong. The first day of our fishing trip we launched the boat and it would not steer. It was frozen up. We took it to the dealer for the warranty repair and it has been over 6 weeks waiting on parts. They say it will be at least 2 more, maybe a lot more. The dealer received the new helm but not the steering cable. What is so difficult about a steering cable? Are they that specialized? Is there not aftermarket cables that would work? So far the score is on the water 20 hours - in the shop 1,032 hours and counting. Suntracker customer service was no help. It was such a great boat for the 20 hours that it worked. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE!!!

All of the casting chairs have broken

The 3 casting chairs have broken on my 2021 bass tracker 18 dlx. It has been a lemon since day one, Bad steering, broken chairs and a leaking live well

Captain seat leaks

From the day I bought my 2021 18 foot pontoon boat the captain seat has been nothing more then a big sponge whence it rains. It never dries out. I have to sit on a towel. I have to wash my floor after sitting on it after every use because of the stains it creates. They replaced it once but the second seat Was just as defected. They will not replace it again.

Disappointed customer

Ive had my 20 ft suntracker fishing pontoon for 5 years. I have less than 50 hours on the mercury motor. Ive taken good care of the boat. This past spring after my annual launching (I have a dock) the rails on my trailer split into pieces. The wood was completed rotted. They should last a lot longer. I will not re-cover the rails with the carpeting as it must be contributing to the moisture leading to rotting wood.

Leaks! Leaks! Leaks!

Purchased in 2019, has problems with the logs leaking and filling with water. Boat has been in the shop 2 out of 3 summers still making a payment with no fun. Beware of this issue cause as it caused other problems with my truck pulling it full of water. Not happy with this company. They have done nothing to accommodate the 2 summers. Still waiting..another summer gone.

Poor quality

It took over 6 months to get our boat. Came with rip in Bimini top cover. 2 trailer bunks already had holes worn through. Several wires were sliced and bare wire exposed. Used it for 2 weeks. Things went well. Now horn stopped working and Bimini top stopped working. Likely an electrical issue. Frustrating a brand new boat was built with little quality Contol. Now to take it in they want to keep for basically rest of the summer. There shouldn't be these problems with a new boat.

Minimal Sun Coverage

{{Redacted}} looking to get a new suntracker but they only come with a 10' top and don't offer full, up running, extension! Not sure which rocket scientist thought FL boats would not want full coverage.

Problems from the start

We just bought a new Suntracker pontoon. Paid cash. The first time we took it out we had issues with the radio & Bimini. There are no instructions in the book about the Bimini at all. So we assumed, it was our error. The second time we took it out,we had the same problem. Either it wouldnt go up or we couldnt get it down. Come to find out that there is a problem with the electric Biminis. They dont know what it is or how to fix it. So in the meantime we are just suppose to not use it! We live in Florida, so not using a Bimini is NOT an option! So basically we have a boat that is paid for , but just sitting there, bc of a manufacturing error!

Warranty on seats

Sent pictures to local warranty department , the seams in my two front fishing seats are splitting , they said it was sun damage and could not fix them , I still have four years left on the so called warranty, they sure made me fill good about the warranty when I signed the papers buying it. Sun damage on a boat?

Follow up

C corrosion and conditions with salt water and sun tracker pontoon boats. The sun tracker boats are not made for salt water neither is the trailer that comes with it. Their warranty listed as perfect both boat for bass and sound but I have no idea where they are boating that its not salt water. Salt water and the carpet on the bunk boards cause corrosion.
