Suburban Relocation Systems Hold my Belongings Hostage

I entered into a moving agreement with Suburban Relocation Systems LLC to ship my household goods from Pennsylvania to Florida in August 2021. They did not show up on pick up date. When it was 18 days past the delivery date, they attempted for drop off. Without 24-hour notice, they arrived late and missed the scheduled elevator reservation. Suburban refused to wait and deliver, even if I pay all the hefty fee ($750 per day). In return for their fault, they hold my goods as hostage (demanding double pay). On top of the mover hostage, they charged $1440 on my credit card without my authorization, which is fraud by FBI's definition. Adding insult to injury, it threats to sell my goods at auction, which is theft. Timeline: 1.Based on the original agreement the pickup date was August 2, 2021 and drop off date was August 20th. I paid deposit 10%. 2.On August 2nd Suburban Relocation Systems LLC did not show up and rescheduled the pickup for the following day. They charged me $230 more than the binding estimate. I paid a 50% deposit at this time. 3.On August 20th my household goods were NOT delivered as the original agreement specified. 4.Ann Miller, Suburban's representative, sent me an email on August 23rd saying they will send a truck to my state in 3 days, which again did not happen. 5.Ann Miller's text message on August 27 states that a truck will be back in two days to load my goods, which did not happen again. I asked for advanced notice multiple times, since my association needs to reserve elevator. 6.Suburban's dispatcher agreed and promised "We will make sure you get a 2 day notice." Ann repeatedly promised to "update you as soon as your items are loaded to the truck." 7.At 3:44 pm on September 6, Suburban's driver sent me a text message, stating that the delivery will be from 1 to 3 pm in the following day. This is a 21 hour notice. Suburban Relocation Systems did not give me 2-day notice me as they agreed. They did not even give me 24-hour notice as they claimed. 8. Fortunately I was still able to reserve the elevator for 1-4 pm on September 7th. 9.On September 7 (18 days past due), Suburban's truck arrived later than scheduled delivery time (arrived at 4:10 pm instead of 1-3 pm). This was past my 1-4 pm reservation and the elevator was closed as per my association. 10.Suburban Relocation Systems LLC refused to wait until Thursday when elevator is available, stating that they will not wait to deliver even if we pay all the hefty fee ($750 per day: $450 for day and $300 for night). 11.Suburban returned to its headquarter with my goods, stating that I must pay double fee to deliver again. 12. Suburban charged $1440 on my credit card without my authorization, which is fraud by FBI's definition. 13. Suburban threat to sell my goods at auction, which is theft. In summary:Suburban failed to pickup and deliver on time and shows pattern of broken promises.Suburban did NOT give me 2-day noticed as agreed. They did not even give me a 24-hour notice.Suburban arrived late and missed the scheduled elevator reservation.Suburban hold my goods as hostage (demand double pay), although they are completely at fault for all of the delays.On top of hostage, Suburban committed credit card fraud and prepare for theft. Our family have to sleep on the floor and get sick. My kids have no books to read and no toys to play. I have to repurchase essentials, which I should NOT have had to make. The nightmare continues. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HAVE NOT GOTTEN OUR STUFF
STOP!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I would give zero stars if possible. My family and I moved last week from Virginia to South Carolina. The movers came on Wednesday March 5th and picked up all of our items. Well...almost all of our items. They did forget a hammock, vacuum and some other items. The crew lead proceeded to charge us an additional $1500 dollars more than what was originally quoted. Which is very suspicious since we sold a lot of furniture and other items between the time that we received the quote and the pick up day. We were originally scheduled to have our stuff delivered on Saturday May 8th, because we had a late closing time for our new home on Friday. However, we let the crew lead and the sales rep Sharon know that our mortgage company moved up our signing to 10:30am, so we can have them deliver at noon on Friday versus Saturday morning. Both people said that dispatch would get back to me. That did not happen. I had to keep calling, texting, and emailing...and then finally the crew lead texted me on Friday night and said that the trucks brakes needed to be repaired and our stuff wouldn't arrive on Saturday (THIS SEEMS TO BE WHAT IS TOLD TO A LOT OF PEOPLE. READ THE REVIEWS). We finally spoke to our sales rep Sharon on Saturday and she was less than helpful and rude. She said that someone from dispatch would reach out to me and let me know when we can get our stuff delivered. Sunday came and went without any updates. Monday arrived and more excuses were given. Now the crew lead, Sharron, and finally dispatch messaged me and said that the engine was having problems (THIS ALSO SEEMS TO BE WHAT IS TOLD TO A LOT OF PEOPLE). They told use that it would need to be fixed before they can send the truck out and they also told me that they couldn't rent a truck and off load everything, because non were available. Flat out lie. I run a business that rents box trucks every week. I then reached out to the Office Manager Cindy via email and phone. She didn't respond to any of my calls or emails. Clearly customer service means nothing to them. I then went back to the sales rep Sharon, the crew lead, and dispatch. They would still not commit to a delivery date. It is now 3:40pm on Thursday 5/13 and no on will call, email or text me back about our delivery date and time. We spent over $7000 on this move and we have to move into our new home without any of our items. We have had to spend a lot of money on hotels, clothes, eating out, toiletries, and more. THIS COMPANY LITERALLY RUINED OUR SPECIAL NEW HOME BUILD MOVE IN, RUINED MY WIFES MOTHERS DAY, AND CAUSED ME AND MY ENTIRE FAMILY A LOT OF UNDUE STRESS. D So take it from me....DON'T USE THEM. I have every email, text, and call as proof that they are a horrible company.

Here it is day 11 & no one can tell me where my things are. I keep calling now only one person handles dispatch to let me know when my things will arrive. I’ve never experienced such a horrible and nasty and demeaning company in my life. Will update when I receive my things

I moved from Alexandria, VA to San Diego, CA. Many of my things were broken. I filled out their claim form. They proceeded to ignore it. This happened February 2019.

Suburban relocation systems promised me total efficiency and perfect delivery of my things. I started to understand why they are so confident when I found their customer service to be very helpful and they gave me a great quote. The four movers were very helpful. They took a very short time to pack and load everything from our 3-bedroom apartment. The men were also very efficient and skillful. Their organizational skills prove that they have been in this business for a very long time. The delivery was made on time and nothing had even a scratch on them. I was very impressed with the movers throughout this moving process. They really are everything they claim to be.

Suburban relocation systems was just amazing while they handled our move- no details were spared by their off-the-charts professional crew. Their performance was much better than average for sure and unimaginable at this price point. I have seen the terrible movers but these men were nothing like them. They maintained the appointment time and worked very efficiently throughout. They were extra careful while handling my glassware. They dealt with every unforeseen issue with great expertise. During our move to another state, moving crew of Suburban relocation systems was knowledgeable and helpful. The entire process was seamless and stress free. The crew arrived on time and disassembled what was necessary and wrapped and moved everything in a careful and professional manner. All furniture was reassembled and set all the furniture where we wanted it placed. The price has always been fair and reasonable with these guys and we didn’t feel like we were robbed as it is the case with most moving companies. I’ll definitely use them again. We’ve moved a bunch of times before. But my wife wasn’t really happy with our last move. The movers were inexperienced. This time I found a very professional moving company, named Suburban relocation systems. Our moving was so comfortable. The entire process was smooth and perfectly handled by the movers. They worked hard packing everything properly, loading the truck with adequate precaution and delivered all our items safely a long distance away. This time my wife was really happy with the movers. They made the delivery on time. Everything was perfect. My experience with Suburban relocation systems was incredibly perfect from beginning to end. When I discovered that they had also arranged my boxes with stunning intelligence in my new home, which made unpacking much more systemically- I was completely sold! Moving can be a stressful experience, and my entire experience with them was really smooth. They seemed experienced, very reasonably and competitively priced and truly efficient. My three movers were so experienced and helpful, that they even suggested placing a couple of tricky pieces of my furniture, in places that I ended up keeping them! Extremely patient and helpful
Moving is a very patient thing to do. It needs a lot of patience and hard work. I was neither interested in both those things and that’s why I hired professionals to do the job. Suburban relocation systems was the one I picked because they had pretty good reviews. I must that I got more than I expected. They have done a really good job with my move. They packed all my belongings smoothly and moved it very carefully. Nothing was damaged during this process and nothing was missing. Everything was accounted for! They really are professionals! Horrible Experience
I definitely would not recommend this company. I moved from Colorado to Virginia. When they packed my house they were fast but did not label any boxes so I have no clue what is in each box. I was told that they do this while packing. Second I was given a quote of $1556 and by the time they were done packing they added an additional $600. Then they have all of these extra fees upon delivery for example if an 18 wheeler can't fit into the drop off location. Let's be realistic, how many places can an 18 wheeler fit delivering residential items. So for a smaller truck that they call a shuttle that was an additional $300. Upon delivery they wanted the cash before they would let me see if it was in fact my belongings. I was told that I can not look at the content of the delivery until I give them the cash. He refused to open the door to the truck and just let me look. He flat out told me no! The drivers were suppose to be here 3 days prior to when they actually got here and when they did get here it was at 9pm. They threw around the boxes upon unloading and were not careful with handling my belongings at all. I'm not even sure that I actually have all of my belongings due to nothing being labelled and I had to sign that I received everything when in fact I don't actually know. All in all this company cost me $900 more than the price I was given and the drivers were very rude. Be careful if you use them and don't set your expectations too high. I'm very disappointed

They were a big help! I was running low financially and they really helped me out. They gave me the quote I was looking for and they even told me the ways how I could reduce the pricing. They were very supportive and kind! The moving team arrived on time on the day of the move. The furniture was nicely moved and nothing was dented. The delivery was also done in time and without any damages. They are life savers. I intend to hire them again because I do need to move a lot. 5 stars for suburban relocation systems! As much as I was excited about moving to a new city, I was equally worried about the whole moving out and in process. Luckily I hired Suburban relocation systems as I have heard of them among my colleagues before. They gave me a pretty decent quote and patiently attended all my queries. They sent 3 men on the day of my move. These men were so meticulous and skilled. They wrapped up everything pretty fast and the delivery was a little earlier than estimated. Moving from one state to another is never cheap. But I was surprised by the number Suburban relocation systems gave me for my move. Luckily, they backed up that quote with four amazing movers. The boys arrived on time and packed everything carefully. They worked tirelessly around my house packing everything. It took them a very short time and lots of collaborative efforts to finish loading everything onto the truck. The delivery was made on time and nothing was missing.
