My home internet box

They sold me the exact same home internet box my brother had when he lived with me then told me they tell me there's no coverage in my area, *** you straight talk

They switched me to TracFone without telling me after they gave me lifetime straight talk because of a breach or a *** in their system that they did not tell their customers about I want my lifetime

I was just checking on my straight talk account because I'm supposed to have lifetime straight talk and when I went to put 611611 in it hooked me up to TracFone I do not have TracFone I have straight talk for life because of the breach in straight talk by hacking . Now I can't even get through to straight talk it cuts me off and I even tried once and it sent me to TracFone I will not use TracFone and I am pissed and I want my money back for this straight talk no joke I'm pissed!!!

Straight talk I haven’t had any service work a call or anyone to call Ian on my number

Dude my service been out since last night. Even though I have had this number for 10 years and been with yall for 10 years I usually dont have problems. Last year so I have problems nearby every time. Who am I supposed to talk to when theres not really know where you can go when you order yours off-line? I hope this matter gets resolved really really soon thank you

Data mysteriously throttled every month for 3 to 5 days.

For the last 8 months in a row I get throttled to 2G speeds for 3 to 5 days in a row on the "unlimited" data plan. I've contacted them through the chat feature and it always ends with them telling me to expect a call in 15 minutes and every time they never call. I know my data hasn't been throttled due to over usage (which is hilarious since I buy their "unlimited" data plan) and I always ask if my account's been throttled. They can never tell me wtf is going on and when I ask how they're gonna make it right all I get is "we apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused, but I'm not authorized to refund or comp your account". I am so sick of Straight Talk.

Can't log in online

I cant get my account set up so that I can login online. I call support for help and they can only continuously tell me to call back. They cant even seem to be able to send me an email now. I dont even know if they have now screwed up my email address. Im concerned that I will not be notified when my bill is due or how much the initial bill will be.

Bad customer service and steals money

Dont get a phone with them!!! They took $1800 out my bank account for a fone I didnt get. when I tried to get a hold of them they kept hanging up. I call straight talk to order a phone thru them. They took $935 off my bank card, but stated that the card didnt go thru so they asked for another card so I gave them my cash app card for another total of $935.. which they also stated didnt go thru.. but my bank and cash app card is showing pending charges on my accounts So I got ahold of straight talk and they kept giving me the run around. After a week of talking to different foreign agents my money still havent been return to me.. the agents will hang up on me or give me attitudes about MY MONEY.. My bank finally told me to get an email or fax number from straight talk to they can dispute my claim.. and after days of trying they tell me that they dont have an email or fax number. Im still to this day trying to get my money !!!

Customer Service is TERRIBLE UNKNOWLEDGEABLE

While on their website ordering a new phone had the rep on the line. Was supposed to be 2 day shipping. Came on day 4. I had asked if the phone wasn't here on time if I could return and was told yes, just follow the directions on the box. Since the phone didnt arrive in time as told I bought the same one at Walmart and had it up an running. Phone was left on porch by UPS. Tells you to remove the label and turn around and tape on the box then take to a UPS. Called and asked rep if that was correct and told yes. Took to UPS and because there is no barcode to scan on the return label they couldnt accept. Called customer service which is out of another country and was told because I took the box off my porch its considered Accepted and have to return at my expense. Box was NEVER opened and only fixed the label for return. The reps from another country have no idea how our mail system works because I asked. Was also told they have no way to contact or transfer me to someone in the USA. Was told they dont have the tools to do anything regarding returns and thats why they tell us to return at our own expense. They DONT CARE!!! DO NOT BUY ONLINE if you think you may have to return.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I signed up for Straight Talk a month ago via an ESIM for my iPhone 14. It worked fine for about 2 weeks and then every day after that I would lose service at 5pm until I called and had the signal resent! I would NEVER get a promised return call. Customer Service reps have no idea how to handle the issue and even went as far as to tell me I didn't have the correct iPhone in my hand ( based off of IMEI #) I assured them it was definitely an iPhone 14 and was then hung up on. DO NOT USE THEM!!

Deceptive Trade Practices

Recently, I purchased a Straight Talk phone and service plan for $45 that the display at Walmart clearly indicated was truly unlimited high speed data with no disclaimers added. However, when you read the tiny print on the back of the card it tells you to go to their web site for current "Terms and Conditions", which of course is that you only get 25 gigs of data before being reduced to the mostly useless 2G. I also seem to remember that the surprise with the first first $45 plan I bought was that it went to 2G after 40 gigs. And though I wasn't thrilled with this reality, it was at least reasonable. However, the 25 gigs of data is bs. There are other plans out there that don't blatantly lie to you and require you to go online while at the store to view what the real plan is. The service is reliable and the low cost Motorola phone works ok for the price and AI customer service works ok, but once this phone is unlocked I am switching to a more honest carrier and plan that offers a better value. Straight talk is owned by TracFone, which is now owned by Verizon. TracFone has always been a total ripoff and now it looks like their greed and shadiness continue with Straight Talk.

It feels IMPOSSIBLE to actually activate a Straight Talk Home Device or receive actual assistance from so called " support "

! I live less than one mile from the Walmart where I bought a Straight Talk Home Internet Device and when attempting to set it up it continues telling me the area has no coverage while a few neighbors are using it themselves. There are neighbors who are currently using Straight Talk Home Internet but the system says there is no coverage for me ? This is ridiculous ! Calling so called " support " is useless as they are all in the Philippines and only know how to read a script on a computer screen and have no capability to solve an actual problem .

I bought a phone but never got it

I bought a phone with airtime card February 1st 2023 online i paid a extra $4.95 for next day delivery well it didn't get shipped out till the 6th on the 7th I should've got it.but it didn't come the delivery guy said he left it on my steps at 11:20am I got back home at 11:56 am it wasn't there I haven't seen it.so I called strait talk I spoke to a manager whom said they'd do a lost package on it well our call got cut off and they never called back.so for the next 3 or 4 days I called was redirected number of times and finally the last time I called a manager said I'd have to call the delivery driver I did they sent me a email telling me in great detail what they're doing well that was the beginning of last month .also the email I had for strait talk has blocked me so I can't email them won't do any good to call nobody knows what to do or say any ways I'd be waisting my breath I paid $70 for phone and airtime card it was on sale know it's gone back up if I wanted to buy another one why try it again .

Issue never checked on , talked about , or resolved

I wrote a previous review about my service being disrupted four months in a row and I was told I had to go online and renew my service when it wasnt time every time I called support. To avoid confrontation I went ahead and did so feeling like there was a communication barrier between me and Support where they didnt understand what I was trying to say. After having enough of trying to deal with it I change carriersAnd after changing carriers try to port my number and they told me that because there was no minutes on my phone that I would have to add $10 to my account to activate my phone again to do the wire the number transfer after theyve been cutting my phone off early every month and Ive just had to eat the days from that. The last month they cut it off 12 days early but Im supposed to pay 10 more dollars to get my number transferred. In the last time I spoke with someone they tried to tell me that my phone service has been off since January 28 but they cut my phone off on the 16th and I had to renew my service again and it was on until the end of February. Customer Support said that because my number had been deactivated for such a long time there was nothing they could do that I would have to pay the $10 when Ive got pictures of my phone number calling my friends phone on his car logs on February 23 month later than what theyre saying. They only go by what theyve got documented and even if you send a picture to prove that their own they still dont know nothing about it. Last review I wrote I was told that they were going to check into my account and for me to contact them through this link and when I clicked on the link it sent me back to the same people that wouldnt help me to begin with and this for them checking on my account never heard nothing else back from that again and now its been over a month and I still dont have my number did I do business with. This has been a really big financial burden on me and they just dont seem to care and want more money after theyve taken from me for four months. If their systems right in my phone Ive been deactivated since January 28 then how did I make a phone call at the end of February to my friend that you can clearly see in the picture that I circled the time and date of the call. But thats irrelevant to them because their system says January 28. Thats the date that my service was supposed to be cut off and they cut it off on the 16th 12 days early and I went back online and renewed my service because I had to have a phone then and cant work without it. Also have a pic of January 17 the day I woke up and had no service in window line to renew my service when it wasnt due and they sent me a welcome back message from Customer Support after they cut my phone back on. And another picture of my straight talk app that shows my service end date as more proof. What is going on over a month and I still dont have my phone number and they dont seem to care all they want more money from me

Straight Talk is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Corporate contact info

Straight Talk is Beyond Horrible! After only 1 month, my phone stopped working. It would not recognize that I added the unlimted $45 card to it. The phone was purchased new from Walmart. I called the customer DIS service department and they saw that their system did recognize that I did add minutes but my phone did not. So, after spending LITERALLY 12 HOURS and 15 minutes on the phone with the Straight Talk customer DIS service department (that is what I call them now) over the course of approximatley 8-10 different phone calls... Still NOTHING was resolved. They gave me codes to put into my phone NUMEROUS times despite the fact that it didn't work the previous day that I talked to them and was told to do that. So, as of today, I have not have ANY cell phone service for 18 days(almost 3 weeks). 3 Weeks that I paid for! Straight Talk wanted me to send my phone back to them. So, they took 5 plus days to send me an airbill fed ex package so I could mail them my phone. I sent it on Thursday and it was received at Straight talk the next day. So, I waited about a week and called them to see where my phone was... I was told 3 different things by 3 different people.. The best was by a supervisor who told me that I would have a new phone on my doorstep in 3 days. BUT, when I asked him if the phone was shipped from their warehouse, he said I DON"T KNOW! I asked him.. how can you tell me I will have my new phone in 3 days when you don't even know if it was shipped or not???? He could not understand this concept at all!!!! He could not give me a tracking number .. b/c there was none! BOTTOM LINE... I filed an online complaint with the Better Business Bureau www.bbb.org and within 24 hours I had the Better Business Bureau liason at Straight talk and she personally called me at my work number and walked to the warehouse and got a new phone herself changed my number to that phone, made sure it worked. She is also sending it to me OVERNIGHT. She is in the Corporate Office in Miami, Florida. I also asked that I get a month FREE for all the aggravation and she agreed to do that. I am posting this b/c I am thoroughly disgusted with the way I was treated by the foreign customer service department who are like zombies reading from a script no matter what you say to them.
