Question about a part

It seems impossible to contact this company for questions. They don't answer the phone. It's very unclear how to contact someone.

I noticed SO MANY negative reviews, and was extremely surprised.

I have been a customer of Stewmac for at least 10 years, purchasing more than a thousand dollars overall, and have always been satisfied. YES, like any other retailer, there have been problems with orders, or with individual produces themselves. They have always made it right. I'm certain that no one is fabricating their complaint; it's just that problems I've had have been rectified. And they DO have toll-free customer service line.

Sick of e-mails ; unsubscribe is useless

Years ago on several occasions I purchased a few guitar repair items from this company. 50/50 on reasonable quality and unacceptable junk. Overly high shipping price for minutia. Example : $10+ for shipping a $3 dollar (1 inch long, 3 grams) item halfway across the same state . Scratch remover product that made the problem worse when properly used. Cheap reproduction pieces advertised as factory spec. Now I can't get rid of their continuous e-mails because the 'unsubscribe' feature ignores the command. I'll never buy there again and I'd really rather they stop bugging me.

No phone support. Cannot tell from "account overview" if my StewMAX account is still active.

Nothing. Cannot reach a living person. Orders and merchandise have been good, any issues require email communication which is NON-interactive, therefore usually not concise, unless there is a dead simple question. Kit building support, though non-interactive has been adequate.

About an order

I am teaching a guitar building course in Southampton Ont Canada. We have ordered a few kits from stewmac. I have a premium body build acoustic kit that is missing frets. PO#151453****. Today we have ordered a Wilkinson 50s vintage-t kit. We have payed for 3 day shipping. Po#170365**** Can we have a set of frets for the acoustic kit shipped with the new telecaster kit that was ordered today? I have a class to teach on Monday and hopefully can have these items here. Stew Mac guitar vice

No live person to ask question to and pricing Other companies cheaper for similar items than yours. And you sale the item on Amazon at a higher cost with free shipping but in reality its the same price as your website ones you add shipping. Im sure its a great tool but I dont like companies trying to scam consumers . And your shipping price is ridiculous $56.00 for a guitar vice?! so you are a big and popular store and cant afford to free shipping for real . You remind me of a Black Friday sale you claim to give discounts but you dont how sad . Grizzly tools has the same item for at least $100.00 cheaper only Deference green color vs your red. I just thought you should know .

Customer service

Ordered tubes one tested bad . Im 72 called customer service # no human. Went on website sent message said theyd get back. Day later sent again. Tube was35$ gladly eat it and tell everyone not to use stew Mac . Really hour on and you cant get a human !!! Wow !!! Must suck to work there!!

I have not received my package and having troubles with Amazon for a refund or when it may be coming I look on my Amazon account and it says now the product is unavailable I missed a call from you but appreciate a call back working with computers is typical for me thank you look forward to hearing from you and helping me resolve this issue

To make a complaint

Your products are not as advertised pictures are misleading...your customer service is terrible and the process to access said services is terrible...your delivery times and updates suck...I could go on..but why...I'm sure you know most of the letdowns

Check my order

I am wondering where my order is...also I made a mistake and got a few file I don't need as I already purchased the three in one fret file..three different sizes files...how do I return I whish to order more tools and the timeliness for delivery seems long...I Also purchased the 1yr join stewmac free deliveries and discounts.. but I saw a deal given on this service for half price deal on the same service...seems kinda *** that I have to pay full price for said service..? ..thanks Ian Green.
