Steck roofing review
Had Matt out on two different roofs. He and his crew did a fine job. There was a call back and one of his guys came right back out and took care of it. Yes, they are a little rough around the edges, but it's roofing and not painting. I'd hire his team again. There was one day where it started raining and his crew just kept at it through the storm. I'm familiar with construction and checked their work when completed and only found one small problem and they were right back out to fix it. They work hard and get the job done, period.

BEWARE: DON'T USE THIS COMPANY I obtained a Matt Steck for roof repairs. I had to contact him multiple times after advising him I wanted the work done. He advised once Friday that work would be completed the next day and several weeks went by and there was no contact. I left mesages with no return calls and finally sent text advising I was disappointed with service and professionalism. A few minutes I received a call from him yelling at the top of his voice. He was rude and very unprofessional. He advised he was sending someone to my property to do work then. He hung up on me without allowing me to get a word in so I texted him and advised to stay away from my property and that I do not need to pay for bad customer service. He was advised via text to never ever call me and yell at me again as I had been nothing but professional with him. If you see MATT STECK of STECK Roofing, run and run fast.

BEWARE STECK ROOFING CO
Got an estimate from this Matt Steck the owner. Called him back after the check came from insurance company to go over the paper work and to sign the contract. He called me 4 times in 2days to set up the time to met and he had me waiting for 1 hour in a half then he showed up at my house parked on the wrong side of the street in the opposite direction . He got a call while he was at my house he was so loud looked at my paperwork and said sign here and got up from my kitchen table and left within five minutes asked him while he was sprinting across my grass don't I need some paperwork when your going to get started he said you'll know when there a dumpster in your driveway and drove off . Got on the computer and looked his company up and hoop there it was a list of complaints, called him in reference to them he hung up on me. Called him back repeatedly from home ,cell # kept hanging up had to call the bank to stop him from getting insurance money. Very unprofessional rude and crazy to think he can get away with the way he do business. Please be careful elderly people and women have a family member there in the same room to witness this behavior. Im glad I had the info emailed from the insurance company and the bank otherwise I would have had to wait for them to mail the packet out all over again.

Roof Gone Bad
If you want a Rude , Unprofessional , Money Hungry *** to do your Roof then Matts your guy . Matt Steck put my neighbors Roof on and ran out of Shingles and then Used Shingles that didn't match to Finish the Job . On top of the that he gets in a fight with one of the Installers and has the Cops remove him from the Roof and tells him he will not get paid for all the work he had already done that day . This Guy is a Real Winner and I wouldn't let him Roof a Dog House . I can't believe this man is still in Business .

Matt Steck gave a bid for my roof. My insurance company wanted several. After trying to get a contact signed without us seeing actual shingles, he sends me to look at a roof he had done last fall. Those shingles (color) would not have even come close to matching the stone I have on my home. Glad I didn't let him pressure me into ordering them. Then he says I didn't need several bids, that he could beat any price in town. He was so rude that day I hung up on him. He wouldn't ease up on the pressure tactics. Several days after I hired another company, and the job almost done, Matt Steck calls again saying he really needed the job. I get another call after he finds out (by doing a drive by) that my roof was done. He leaves a very rude message on my answering machine. How is he had known I was going to hire "some idiots off the street, he would have lowered his price". Well I thought he already had the lower price. Stay Away From This Pushy, Rude, nonprofessional. I Hired James Ormsby, local to Florissant, and very business like. He does more than just roofs, and hires local people. The price was way less than Steck gave me. Buyer Beware

Steck Roofing Florissant-used property without permission
Horrible company, rude owner - don't do business with them, your neighbors will be very unhappy. While they were roofing my neighbors house, they used my driveway without permission turning heavy equipment around. Damaged my property. When I caught them using my driveway, I asked if they had been using it the previous day. Would not discuss, walked away. A very expensive tree was completely knocked down. to a stump. A Japanese Maple. At least $300 to replace one of that size (it cost $100, 5+ years ago.) This was the company owner, not just a worker. Should know better. To make it worse, you can easily drive to the end of the street and turn around easily. Just pure lazy, don't care attitude. Don't let them touch your House!!
