I am current staying at the Staybridge in Flowood,MS in room 613 (John May). I woke up and saw a roach on my nightstand and can't go back to sleep. It ran away as soon as the light came on and keeps peering out. I'm sure these things happen but I'd advise pest control be contacted, who can sleep? We love this location and now im just ready to check out!

I have tried to talk to the management here. They do not seam to care about much if anything and I have not seen physician movements from any employee except for a cleaning staff. Im going to list these items The elevators are filthy -floors and stainless steel walls In a hotel with pets I would hope that vacuums and cleaning is top of hue list PETS I was not informed in any way Id be in a hotel room that had been occupied by animals The windows are so dirty I was. It told that the parking plackets was going to cost me $15.00 a day . It was handed to me and I was told to put it in my car PERIOD . Your so called cocktail hour is a rude joke The night ai attended I had assumed it would reflect the filthy tattered poster in the elevator NOT. A bowl of refried beans , chopped onions, tomatoes, rice ,cilantro, lettuce, sour cream, . And ? AND WHAT ? And nothing. I observed people eating this out of bowls. Bear on tap THAT IT in the bright lights of the cafeteria breakfast area. Not out near the pool where there nice comfortable chairs are and the beautiful fire pit. Not around the cocktail tables and chairs area near the interior fire place and large flat screen where music could have been playing maybe guests might have a more memorable experience but nooooo. I asked a man at the desk ? Whats this about and his reply was Well we cant have glass out by the pool ! Ok youll offer scraps as food and beer in a glass but feel perfectly fine to dehumanize guests . Im plastic cups work at every art opening even. In te nicest if art gallerys, parties everywhere on the lancet utilize plastic if necessary. Thee are signs in this hotel that are crookedly placed. Why wouldnt anyone give a damn to hang a sign so off to one side then not have it corrected? I know the answer, but do you ? In my kitchen 3 forks , 7 knives, 1spoon, 1 -12 butcher knife One large stew /boiler pot 1 PLASTIC spatula, 1PLASTIC spoon 1 soup bowl, 2 tiny juice glasses, 3 tall glasses, 5 cereal bows, 3 dinner plates, 1 saucer, 3 salad plates, 1 coffee pot, 3 wine glasses, 2coffee mugs, 1 crummy cork screw, 1-potato peeler, 1 Ill-working oversized toaster , ice machine that needs a new filter !! the sponge provided is a serious waste of money No trash bags No mixing bowl No REAL SPONGE No coffee filters No can opener No fry pan No whisk No Tongs No pairing knife No chopping knife No bread knife No steak knives When I asked about this a housekeeping staff member ( these folks are your best but still need this straightened out) A woman came she wrote down two items Id asked for all but said shed be back in a moment she never returned I asked again because the list had grown. Nothing outside if what I needed. A day later a woman came Vic will all new items they must have just been purchased. But plastic 99cent cooking utensils on a 99cent store pan the plastic spatula melts on the pan . Toxic smoke when its burning Heres the thing if your pricing includes a kitchen area but whats the point if it isnt continuously consistently stocked properly. My room should only cost 100$ Is that so people will NOT use it , -NOT to be comfortable ( dont worry that message is loud and clear through the hotel) the tall thin garbage receptacle at the elevator is packed full nightly because in any living space where the stove is less than three feet from your pillow no one including yourself would want the trash from the day. Well wait I take that back by you dont care . Put in a usable system like a trash shoot . That with Halloween because had you cared about comfort there would have been one from the start. Wait youre the security guard and you dont think it would be important to one the how many visitors there are in comparison to capacity ? Why would I need to Von live that he said Oh Im I dont know be in case by if a fire or any king CB of security issue fire a rescue would need that or you should always nee that for reference to and secure issue. Especially if an elevator is out of service. Ive used the stairs for the past four days The work station 1-computer 1-printer non working- Ive been told by a front desk staff member it has not worked since he started two years ago . So why wouldnt you escalate that to get that fixed ? Im just a desk clerk he said I was getting some of the gross free breakfast and a kid had a spray bottle with blue cleaning liquid he was spraying the counters directly around the bowls of granola and toppings and the rest of the counter where the bread and toaster and the flatware Spaying an wiping I asked him not to while by I was preparing mine and he said its ok I sprayed around it. What kind of person tall enough to be 12 but must have at least been 16 to even have a job does that?. Thats a food prep -thats illegal and if youre not training ANY of your staff someone needs to know and clearly workout a brain. But it makes sense if you consider all the other crap Im telling you. A large bowl with honey dew melon I thought ok great fresh cut fruit that cant be all bad The thin about melon is you so not cut it open until its ripe and if it green on the inside and your offered it without the ryne you dont know it unripe until you bite into it I took 6 piece and headed to me room with I took one bite the spit it out . Tried another same and another same and etc etc What is wrong with you people I walked a woman stand outside on the side walk with 25 irons on the ground and 1 ironing board. Apparently she was testing irons . Thats lovely but why am I seeing this right outside my room window overlooking the grassy area ? Why is that same grassy area unlit at night when its easy to see there are festoon lights hanging over it . Why isnt the pool light on at night ? What is worth all the showing right outside the front glass doors by employees and guests RIHHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR. Yesterday I watched so many smokers stand in that doorway and just get away and the door remained open and that smoke was through the lobby . What is wrong with you people. I heard on one side of my room a dog howling everyday when its over its out ( but that orange May or May not know but I do an I said that to a front desk clerk and she said we can move your room ? Why should I have to move my room are you going to help me e I asked , and whos to sissy it wont be next to another dog Those people checked out , the next day a new howling dog . Bear on tap THAT IT in the bright lights of the cafeteria breakfast area. Not out near the pool where there nice comfortable chairs are and the beautiful fire pit. Not around the cocktail tables and chairs area near the interior fire place and large flat screen where music could have been playing maybe guests might have a more memorable experience but nooooo. I asked a man at the desk ? Whats this about and his reply was Well we cant have glass out by the pool ! Ok youll offer scraps as food and beer in a glass but feel perfectly fine to dehumanize guests . Im plastic cups work at every art opening even. In te nicest if art gallerys, parties everywhere on the lancet utilize plastic if necessary. Thee are signs in this hotel that are crookedly placed. Why wouldnt anyone give a damn to hang a sign so off to one side then not have it corrected? I know the answer, but do you ? In my kitchen 3 forks , 7 knives, 1spoon, 1 -12 butcher knife One large stew /boiler pot 1 PLASTIC spatula, 1PLASTIC spoon 1 soup bowl, 2 tiny juice glasses, 3 tall glasses, 5 cereal bows, 3 dinner plates, 1 saucer, 3 salad plates, 1 coffee pot, 3 wine glasses, 2coffee mugs, 1 crummy cork screw, 1-potato peeler, 1 Ill-working oversized toaster , ice machine that needs a new filter !! the sponge provided is a serious waste of money No trash bags No mixing bowl No REAL SPONGE No coffee filters No can opener No fry pan No whisk No Tongs No pairing knife No chopping knife No bread knife No steak knives Heres the thing if youre pricing a kitchen area who as t is the BBC point if it isnt continuously consistently stocked properly. One working elevator for the past 4 days and the weekend your ridiculous hotel was packed every room full to capacity. I asked an Apparent security guard when but would be fixed because there were 15 people all crowded around the one working waiting for it to come down to go up and vice versa. Wait youre the security guard and you dont think it would be important to one the how many visitors there are in comparison to capacity ? Why is that same grassy area unlit at night when its easy to see there are festoon lights hanging over it . Why isnt the pool light on at night ? What is worth all the showing right outside the front glass doors by employees and guests RIHHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR. Yesterday I watched so many smokers stand in that doorway and just get away and the door remained open and that smoke was through the lobby . What is wrong with you people. I heard on one side of my room a dog howling everyday when its over its out ( but that orange May or May not know but I do an I said that to a front desk clerk and she said we can move your room ? Why should I have to move my room are you going to help me e I asked , and whos to sissy it wont be next to another dog Those people checked out , the next day a new howling dog .on my the other side of me is a smoker who will exit his room every so many hours let the stairwell fire door slam as he goes down to please his need to inhale chemicals of petrol poisons and nicotine then hacks up phlegm every morning at about 4 am so he can do it all over again . But I have to hear that grotesque sound and smell his last exhale of smoke in the hall and when he chooses to take the elevator ip that smoke is in the elevator. Unhappy with room and hotel
I called the hotel at 11:30 to see about early check-in. The lady told me it cost $70. I said ok I'm on my way. When I get there she realized that I have a bigger room so no rooms available. She told me to call in at 1:00. At 1:00 I called still no rooms available arrived at the hotel at 2:30. That's when she told me that my room was sold to someone else. I never got any call or email message about my card being declined. I leave out the building and sit in the parking lot to find a different hotel. Then she comes outside and tell me that I can get two separate rooms for the price of the one room. I had at the beginning. I say okay she charged me $700 and some odd dollars for the first one and then $700 and some odd dollars for the second one. That's $1,400 after my first phone was only 900$. Too much money but I did stay the first night. Check out after that and took my business somewhere else. That's not helping me. Who got money like that. Please help.

Over charged
We were charged $490 for one room , for 1 night. It should have been $220 even less. But then we found out we were charged $243. 00 on another card that they claimed did not process. So that's a total of $733 for 1 room, for 1 night. Outrageous and ridiculous, now know one can seem to correct it

This is the most racist hotel me and my team and family has ever stayed in I called two days after our stay to put in a complaint, and I have still not heard anything back from corporate or anyone else. I am going to continue to read and listen to my voice, because we have never been treated, and this ugly Manor us, and the children ever in our life again the most racist place ever.

Emergency situation
I called to see if they could accommodate me during a difficult situation I was in. I only had cash, not much of it, a zero balance debit card, and that's it. The very helpful customer service people I was lucky enough to talk to helped me out and got me a much better price than I expected to get. The lady also set me up with a rewards account, made the reservation for me, and told me to just pay with cash at check in. The employee at the front desk was very nice, helpful, and got me checked in in a timely and professional manner. Made sure I had everything I needed. The rooms and hotel itself is kept up very well for it being built a while ago, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I was on the top floor (the third, with nothing else above me) and started to hear what sounded like someone walking around coming from the ceiling, and metal clinking and clanking around and sliding down the wall in the bathroom. I called the front desk to ask if they had an attic or something and if anyone was supposed to be up there. I was told "Nope, nobody is up there. We must have big rats." I thought, well.. I know what I heard, but whatever. Went back upstairs. This continued off and on until I felt like it was necessary that I call again so they know it is real, not a rat, and that they should probably check it out or call the police or fire department. They brushed it off again. Had to call a THIRD time. Finally she went up to my room to check it out while I stayed down stairs, and about 45minutes later she came back and looked like she had been crying or something. She told me that Yep. She heard it too and that she would tell the manager. Was told they would move me to a different room, and then all of a sudden I would have to pay $40 that I do not have in order to move to a different room. I asked if I could transfer to a different location. Was told no. Went back up, took a shower, and heard what sounded like gun shots or something right behind me or above me. Awesome.

Poor customer service/discrimination
Hello, I chose this hotel (Staybridge Suites in Downtown Delaware) being thought it seemed to be in a great location in DE while I was on military duty, 1-2 Apr 23 (confirmation # 6716****). When I arrived there was someone in front of me and the young lady (Karimah) at the desk informed me that she would be with me once she was done with the lady in front of me. Once the receptionist (Karimah) at the front desk was done with the customer in front of me she called a guy that was behind me and told me he was here prior to me in which he came in the door after me. I was a little upset because I had to stand there for an additional 15min. I had just come from military duty and was exhausted (both from traveling and having to work). While Karimah was helping the guy, the manager was helping someone also but insisted that he would help me once he was done. Karimah finished with her customer and then called me over. She asked for my id and credit card. I realized I left my card in my car which was right out front. I quickly ran out to get it and came right back inside. I walked to the front to where Karimah and the manager could see me being though they both had customers. Karimah was done with her customer and I quickly got her attention in which she ignored me and proceeded to tell the customer in line to step forward. The manager did not say anything to her as to taking me being though she just did that for the guy that left out and had to come back in. Instead he told me he will help me once he was done with his customer. I feel as though I was being discriminated against and the customer service was horrible. I am a IHG reward member and have been for years. I have never experienced such horrible behavior and poor customer service while being a reward member. I hope the staff becomes well trained on how to treat their customers to make them feel comfortable because I did not feel comfortable at all. I paid a great amount of money to stay there and I believe I should have had great customer service. I hope to receive a response to this issue in which I felt discriminated against. On 3-15 checked into hotel. Was given room keys and went to room number they assigned to us. Used key to unlock door and found people already had this room. These people were dumbfounded as it was 1130 pm and they were in bed. We apologized to people in bed in room but couldn't believe what just. happened. Went to front desk as did people already in room. They were very upset as we were. So got assigned another room but couldn't even watch TV because ttv channel said contact cable service provider to get channels. Told front desk but they did nothing about it because said didn't know why wasn't getting channels. But biggest thing was fact that pool was not only closed but out of commission .that room was covered in drywall as if ceiling fell on it. This is something that should have be put on website. When looking for motel one of the musts we had marked was to have pool. All this happening to us. It is only rite that the motel reimburses is for our stay. Please refund our stay. It was at staybridge suites 2720 oak drive Omaha NE 68701. Check in 3-15&check out 3-16. Rm320. Conf No 6438****. And room under name of Jeff Oconnell and charged to card $145.35.. An agreed amount per night upon arrival for a 62 Day stay, 2 days later the Manager says he was the owner contacted me saying Desk clerk did not have authorization to provide rate and would be additional $22 per night for 62 days. I DECLINED that offer stating I would be moving, my bill ended up being TRIPLE the amount agreed upon for the 2 day stay, arguments ensued, bottom line, I was over charged X3 In addition (5) Attempts were made to withdraw over $25,000.00 from my bank account

Incorrect charge
This hotel took an extra 500 dollars from our stay for damage that was already in our hotel room since we got there. We then proceeded to tell them our thermostat would not let us raise the temperature, so they turned off the air in our room. When we got back to Texas, they charged us for the broken thermostat and said we ripped it off the wall. When we asked for proof, they said they had none and gave us the worst attitude, saying we had to pay, and they would not refund.
