I hired Stanley Steamer company to clean my floors and carpets throughout the home. I had so much confidence in them that I paid the workers and left. The next day when I return home, I saw blue dots

I hired Stanley Steamer company to clean my floors and carpets throughout the home. I had so much confidence in them that I paid the workers and left. The next day when I return home, I saw blue dots on my brand-new rugs and the house had an odor. I have been calling since 07/25/2023 and spoken to numerous supervisors, The General Mgr, and customer services, and all I got was an empty promise. I even agreed for them to come back and redo the rugs and floors. When the workers came they told us all that was in the home that their equipment broke down and they could not do the work. I am still waiting for someone to make this situation correct. It is sad how they treat me because in my book they were number 10 and now they are zero. I can take my case to the news and try to get a lawyer to go over my right.

Sloppy and unprofessional

damaged freely painted house failed to move heavy furniture back I paid a fortune for duct cleaning I would not hire them

Stanley Steemer service personnel sent our to my property on 7/31/23 did not do a professional job on my floors.

On July 31, 2023 Crew: Anthony Vehicle 3080 was sent out to my property to provide a cleaning service. The service was very unprofessional and from my observation no service has taken place to clean the carpet. I'm requesting full refund for the charges made on my credit card for a very unprofessional service.

After cleaning my 6 year old system that was cooling perfectly fine leaked 5 lbs. of refrigerant out in 3 days.

Your techs cleaned my ducts w/out turning off system. Evap coil got clogged and froze over. Your tech cleaned coil and I added 5 lbs 410a and found my coil is now leaking and needs replaced. Stanley sterner needs to pay for this.

Tech arrived only to promptly leave!

Tech came to my home to clean my air ducts. Without one single tool to remove vents. Looked at one or two vents from room and stated they look fine from here. Thanks for nothing sir and now leave please:(

Waste of my time! Looked at vents from outside in a few rooms "Looks ok" and left:( One of the worst customer service I've ever received

Ruined my area rug

They arrived to clean my area rug and couldnt find the tag indicating material To see if it was safe to steam clean. AAlex me if I knew and I didnt have any idea. Tested a spot and asked if if they could proceed. looked fine when they were done but was covered in brown spots in the morning. I flipped the corner of the rug and there was the tag indicating made with viscose. they indicated that was the issue as it couldnt be steamed cleaned and it was all on me since I said to proceed. seems like locating the tag to avoid this is pretty basic. Refused to make it right. Check the photos out and judge for yourselves. Id recommend finding someone else to clean your carpet

WAY WAY OVERPRICED for what they do!!

Had my ducts cleaned and they came with a big vacuum truck but only used a vacuum cleaner and compressed air to clean my ducts. I looked up inside the vent after they left and it still looked dirty. They were suppose to spray a antibacterial solution in the ducts to clean and leave a fresh and clean smell. I assumed when the heat kicked on I would smell this fresh solution but there was nothing! I am now doubting that they even used it. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I paid over $800 for nothing!!! Stanly Steamer is a rip off!!! Never again

Carpet appears untouched after cleaning.

There is no difference in before or after the cleaning. We at least wanted the front hall to appear somewhat better. Those are not shadows , that is the color difference of the front hall rug.

Not happy

On Oct 5 at 4 pm I was getting my sectional couch cleaned, the chemicals smelled really bad. I told them of the problem on one couch where I can not remover the cushions. I washed the cushions on the other side of the couch. I thought I was gonna get a deep clean. They just did a surface clean. I had to go behind them for dirty spots. My microfiber looks and feels stiff and stinks from the chemicals. I got my carpet cleaner out and went over the cushions and it was filthy. I have the pics. I called because being a breast cancer survivor I have a hard time doing things and I am really upset that my couch was not throughly cleaned and smelled nice.

Upset

Stanley Steemer man convined us our two (2) lazyboy recliners needed cleaning. He said it was $100.00 to clean the two fabric recliners. He said he needed a separate check for the recliners cleaned. We refused. He finally agreed to one check as he also cleaned our rec room carpet. We thought this was not normal procedure. After some talk with my wife, we came to think he was trying to rip us off and Stanley Steemer also. It gave them the once over with only a vacuum. It took less than 15 minutes for the two. We questuined him and he said I cant do anymore. My wife and i concluded we were ripped off. We DO NOT hold Stanley Steemer responsible for this transaction as we used Stanley Steemer in the past. We are not asking for anything. After talking with out attorney grandson he indicated to let you folks now. Thank you for reading this. P.S. He also charged us an extra charge of $25.00 for deep cleaning of the carpet. Sincerely.

Charges

I spoke with Julie yesterday. I booked a date for cleaning my carpet. When I gave her the total of the area I wanted cleaned, I explained that the last time you cleaned for me they did not count the landing upstairs because it was so small!!!Now you are charging me for it even when I added two more rooms to be cleaned than last time!!! Could you please take that charge off?? She said she was giving me a discount more than the 20% that was on the card you sent me. It just so happens that it is the same charge for the landing!!! Thank you so much for your help on this matter. Please respond!!! Carolyn Martin

STANLEY STEEMER BROKE INTO MY HOME

After they finished with shampooing carpet they called claiming they left a blower at the home. I made them aware that I left out of town and only the other handymen where there. I spoke to the manager of the grover beach area. He send out the same guy that shampooed the carpets and trespasses into my backyard, then tried to open my sliding back door to go inside the home. My ring camera caught it all.

Poor job, missing items

They did a poor job, padded the bill and we are missing a piece of art that was there when they came and was missing when they left.

Deceptive business practices

I was quoted a price online of $99 to clean the tile floor of my two-car garage. When they arrived they told me the cost would be $250 because the floor tiles were plastic. I was shocked and disappointed. After deliberating, the cost was reduced to $225. Although I am satisfied with the outcome of the work, I will not recommend this company to anyone due to this bait and switch tactic.

They mislead you with that $99 special

I saw the ad for the $99 special and went on-line to order it, also I told them I needed the stairway cleaned also, they told me the price would be $173, so I emailed back and said what happened to the $99 special and they said it would be applied at time of service. When again I asked them to break the price down they said that 2rm plus stairs is $151 and the hallway was $22 and again I asked where the $99 special was and they said it would be applied at time of service. When time of service came there was no $99 special because I ordered an extra room but I was never told that before they came, if I knew a stairway was $74 I would have said no thanks they mislead me.
