Looking for mattress

I did not like it

The mattress bows in the middle. We turned it like they said. I call they said it had to have a two inch drop before they would do anything. They had me to measure with a yard stick, it had the drop. They brought out another mattress. The second mattress bowed with in two weeks more than the first, I believe they brought me a old mattress. I called they would not replace it the second time. I purchased it from Mt. Airy, Nc

Bad service from provider

This is Srinivas from Bangalore.. I have purchased spring Air mattress orthopedic for my back ache solution. the matress doesn't work for me , rather to my wife without back pain too.. it is a faulty mattress and need to be replaced. when raised a complaint with the provider I purchased ,,they are very rude and arrogant. the are least bothered and openly share to raise complaint anywr possible. they are so soft while purchase now behave as a stranger . there was no info provided before to handle. however this faulty mattress is troubling me a lot as a time goes. its never on set. the below line is in your website === Spring Air mattresses provide a 10-year non-prorated warranty, which means you can turn to the company for help in case any defect occurs.==== but its been just 3years hardly and this response. with this rudness, I am ready to raise a complaint in consumer court and update in social media. this is not the way to treat customer.' I will also mail to your CEO John Grove.if not resolved. I need replacement of mattress , I can also provide charges for usage but cant continue with this faulty mattress. kindly react from head department and get my issue resolved. It is a menace not a mattress !!!

It's a menace worst i ever had! At first i thought it was a fake one it's such a menace until the manufacturer confirmed by tag number it was made by them but they discontinued this month making it so i am screwed don't willing to exchange for a usable one it seems like i got a plane that can't fly what's the point of existence of such an object that cause more harm than good for the purpose it was made for stay away from it especially the ones were made in the Corsicana factory in TX, the whole quality control department should be fired if such a defected trash passed their exam, sucks, bad, bad bed not even qualified to be called a mattress its such a menace the floor is more comfortable, never had back pain thought if my next bed have back support can prevent ever having any it almost twisted my spine they don't have the slightest clue about bed design ! I am more than willing to have it replaced i never said i was not willing to replace them bought 2 sets queen and full called HQ never called me back i am fighting with them but nobody gives a them that is why i decided to write it down for others that's the only way i can keep fighting and prevent this headache for others the license to make this mattress for the Corsicana factory was taken away from them by the HQ i guess for a reason that i described they could not make it right abd were ruining the brand name by this incompetence for them very unhelpful on top of that it still under full replacement warranty told them they are an hour drive away to bring replacement cut this one up take back and figure it out what you messed up with this design, it was a fair offer even told them i am willing to pay for their trip if my complaint does not prove to be legitimate to them what else do they want will report them to every consumer protection agency because they don't give a them about their defected product never heard such thing ever before ! Its their shame but mine headache their menace !!!

Very bad experience

To Whom It May Concern: I purchased a Spring Air mattress item # 122**** from a road show at the Costco in New Rochelle, New York on March 31, 2018. The salesman was very pleasant and recommended the softest mattress on display because I explained to him that I have bursitis in my left shoulder and two herniated discs in my back. It took the delivery company several weeks to deliver the bed because my building will not allow deliveries on the weekend. This gave me concern because I had to make several calls to the delivery guys. I got the mattress in mid April and I noticed that it wasn’t as soft as the one I tried in the store but decided to give it some time to be broken in. But every morning I woke up with a backache so I finally asked a friend to come over and give me his opinion. He said the mattress seemed firm so we looked at the attached ticket and it says Spring Air Back supporter Mammoth ET. I went to the Spring Air website but couldn’t find specific information about the Spring Air Back supporter Mammoth ET. So I called the Pennsylvania factory since it is closest to my location. I called between 10:30am and 11am on Friday, August 17, 2018. A young lady answered the phone and I told her that I had some questions about the mattress I had purchased. She said that she couldn’t answer any questions because there were several types of mattresses and that only Scott could assist me. I couldn’t believe I was calling customer service for a company that sells high-end mattresses. She didn’t seem to care about me as a customer and her goal seemed to be to get me off the phone. She said that Scott wasn’t in but to leave him a voicemail message and that he would be in at 1pm. I didn’t get a return call from him so I called again at 1pm and the same young lady said that he was in a meeting. So I called again at 2pm and the same young lady answered and transferred me directly to Scott’s voicemail, so I hung up and called again. This time Tina answered and was extremely rude. She said that they were tired of me calling and that Scott was the only one who could help me. I explained that he seemed to always be unavailable and she said “you only started calling today.” So I asked for Scott’s email address and she refused to give it to me. I told her that the phone number I was calling said it was for customer service on the Spring Air website and that I didn’t appreciate her being rude to me after I had spent over $2,000 on a mattress. So I called the Greensboro, NC store and spoke to John. He was extremely polite and answered a lot of my questions. However, in the end I don’t feel like this is the right mattress for me because I shouldn’t be waking up with back pain. Please tell me what I need to do to get a refund. Thank you, Angela Harden

Warrenty

Mattress has defects and I want to associate came out and said that the defects was so bad that he could see them from the bedroom door but the company that it was purchased from says that you guys say it’s normal to have those intentions and your mattress so I need someone to contact me so we can speak about it thank you

Refused to replace due to minor stain

My wife and I bought a Spring Air Mattress in September 2017. By January 2018, the mattress had developed a 3 inch dip on my side of the bed. I weigh 180 pounds and the bed frame is solid and provides ample support underneath the mattress. An inspector from the store of purchase measured the dip and confirmed that the mattress was defective and that the dip wasn't from a lack of support underneath the mattress. We were able to exchange the defective mattress for another Spring Air Mattress that was slightly firmer, in hopes that we would have no issues with dipping. From February to May 2018, our new mattress developed a 1 1/2 inch dip. An inspector again confirmed the mattress was defective. Spring Air Mattress refused to replace the mattress or provide a refund because of a minor stain. My wife asked a representative from the company why a stain that had no bearing on the quality of the mattress would prevent a refund, especially since Spring Air acknowledged the defectiveness of the product and that it would obviously not be resold. The representative could not explain the absurdity of the warranty and persisted in telling us that a lack of support underneath the mattress was causing the problem, even though an inspector confirmed the opposite twice in 8 months. We have lost a lot of money and are now stuck with a bad mattress that causes lower back pain every morning. A minor stain should not be cause for a refusal to refund our money. With Spring Air, we have experienced poor quality and poor customer service.

Angry Customer Warranty Request

Two years ago I purchased a mattress for my son the Spring Air Back Supporter. Two months ago I reached out to Metro Mattress where I purchased because the middle of the mattress was sinking in the middle. They had someone come out and take pictures and it was approved to be replaced under warranty. Today when they came to deliver the new mattress they refused to take it because they said the normal wear and tear on the mattress appeared to be a stain. They refused to take a used mattress (2 years) with clearly broken coils because of a stain! This is like a car manufacturer not replacing a car with a bad frame because there was a tear in the seat. This is the most ridiculous warranty policy that I have ever experienced and quite frankly allows Spring Air to basically avoid from having to replace mattresses that should otherwise be replaced! This was communicated to me that if they replaced the mattress Spring Air would not reimburse Metro Mattress for the cost of the mattress. I understand they have processes in place to avoid people making false claims but when there is clearly an issue with the mattress, that should make replacement a no brainer. Metro Mattress claims they won’t get reimbursed by the manufacturer if there are any “stains”. Normal wear and tear should not be something that voids a warranty when there is clearly an issue. I have never felt so taken advantage of after spending so much money on a product. Needless to say I am not a happy customer.

Terrible warranty coverage

My Spring Air memory foam bed is seperating on both sides. A representative from Spring Air came out for warranty and ehen he got back with me he said that mattress was in warranty but warranty was void because of a stain in the middle of the bed. Which has nothing to do with the sides separating. I called the Sprinf Air customer service and they said any stain big or small void warranty because they are considered "toxic". In my opinion this is w cheap way of getting out of covering a warranty. Im really pissed cause I paid good money for this mattress!!!

Pillow top sinks in too much

Brought this high end mattress from Furniture land south and it is horrible. Sink in too much. The only good thing is that is is a quiet mattress with turning because you will be turning all night.

replacement

I would like to submit a service request form but don't see any place on the company's website where this can be found. The nearest factory is in Frenso and I don't see how that is a reasonable destination for me to personally pay for transportation to that location. When I purchased my mattress I was guaranteed that should there be any defects, the company would pick up the mattress and deliver a new one. Please advice or legal action will be taken.

R Clapp, a relative of Spring Air President Kenneth Clapp using Grand Rapids Bedding Company as a "front" for clocks, and clock parts in order to rip off ebay sellers with fraudulent "not as described" claims. Spring Air Mattress - Mattress Review

I purchased my first Spring Air mattress at Metro Mattress in November of 2013. I have already had this mattress replaced in May of 2015- not even 2 years!!! Sagging holes, popping springs, fabric is rippling. The quality does NOT match the price for these mattresses! Would never recommend this company to anyone! Should've stuck with Sealy!

Disappointed buyer

I purchased a spring air mattress in Sept 2012. I couldn't be more unsatisfied with our purchase. We spent about 2k and 3-4 years later(issues started 1 year ago) the mattress has two large indentations about a 6 inches deep on each side. We've flipped it, turned it, done the hokey pokey and the mattress has two large indentations on each side . We both toss and turn and wake up with aching backs. I'm trying to work with Spring Air and the company that sold us the mattress. Problem is I only have the tags on the mattress and the shipping receipt but not the receipt and not getting very far. The tags show model #1120 and date of manufacturer 9/2012. At this point I'm considering a tax deduction donation as I likely would not want another spring air.

Spring Air Mattress - Mattress Review from Waterloo, Iowa

Purchased Spring Air pillow top chestnut 1/19/15 this mattress is not worth the money i spent was suppose to get King Mgm mattress set but Factory Direct in Waterloo,Ia played games so i ended up with this piece of *** The sides are bulging, thread is lose around the bed. Have a ten year warranty but if their are any stains it voids it although it is not being sold any more its being substituted so that says alot a warranty shouldnt matter these mattresses are no good and worthless. This product should have never been sold due to the quality of it. Would never purchase from this place again or the manufacturer.
