I would like a refund for the hours I had no service.

One system upgrade (4 hours) that I was notified about that led to total outage 2 days later of internet/Wi-Fi for over 7 hours. I would like a refund for the time without service during outage. Verizon Fios has internet and Wi-Fi as well and is available in my building.

Been a customer of Chapter/Spectrum for decades

So Spectrum altered the channels in my package to save money. I was informed by customer service that the decisions made by the CEO not to satisfy consumer demand but to enhance the bottom line. They substituted movie channels with shopping and cartoons...not a fair swap. Since the entire area is wired for Spectrum the only choice is streaming and customer service agrees and tells me that's why they stream... Spectrum is a poor company.Drop them ASSP

Rip off!

This place is such a rip off! I ordered a phone online and had it shipped. I opened the box and realized it was the wrong phone. I had to send it back and they charged my a $50 restocking fee for a phone I never even turned on. They recieved it and then charged me $450 for damages to the phone. It was NOT damaged! They said that it must have gotten damaged through shipping. They then said that I needed to file a claim through fedex. I did that and fedex denied my claim because they said that an addendum was added to my contract and I was responsible. I totally regret changing my phone service to them! Now Im stuck in a contract and will have to pay to get out. Im so upset about this.

Sorry service

I've been on spectrum for about 6 months. I've loose internet service about everyday. I call them. And there's always something down with there system. I have cameras on my property because of a problem neighbor. But seems spectrum doesn't care. Now they gonna have an outage tonight. Sent a email to everyone including my neighbor. Fix my stuff or I'll be leaving and going back to at&t.

Spectrum mobile customer support sucks

My phone has a warranty problem, after talking with spectrum I tried to call Google about the issue. Google emailed me and told me I had to have a grand to hold before they would send me a replacement. After that I chatted with a person from spectrum to see if they could help. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the chat ended. So I called spectrum and asked for a supervisor. He was extremely rude and not helpful at all. Spectrum is going to be loosing 2 customers over this.

Billing issue

Transfered service from one place to a new address. Paid May and June bills for the new address. I received an email saying my statement was ready and I clicked on pay bill the account for the new address.I was told that I have to register an account for the new address. Very frustrating

My cable is not working at all and I can't even get channels,I am pissed

My Box is still messing up, I really need this situation dealt with PLEASE, I know Michael came out and do his job and I really appreciate it but it's really something else going on...

Workers outside cit the cable and I lost my service

At first I called and told them about a cable cut by construction workers. They sent 2 technicians but not the right crew. I didnt need to call again but I did and learned, they had already sent out the right crew and solve the problem. I was I awe to learned how quickly my issue wa resolved. Quick and fast! Thank you

Want to upgrade my service and activate my new iPone 11 bought in Italy

The Spectrum representative told me I could not register my new iPhone because it was not compatible with any US carrier, including Spectrum. I was very surprised, as I have never found Apple products to have issues of incompatibility. I contacted Apple directly and this was their response:and we're able to check the activation policy and the device should work on their network. The IMEI on my new phone is 35 2737** **0706 3. Can you please check? Jose

Poor customer service

Due to a bad storm I have been without internet since July 2, 2023 and counting. I finally received power on July 5, 2023 and called Spectrum to inform them there was a line down in the yard but was told to try resetting the equipment. I reiterated again the line was down and finally was given a ticket for dispatch to call me to set up an appointment. I received a call at 7:07 am this morning from the rudest agent telling me that the next available appointment would be July 9, 2023. She didn't even bother to ask for me by name but as soon as I answered she went right into the reason of her call. I later received notification from Ameren that the cable line was down in my yard and called Spectrum again but this time was told they see my equipment on line and to take my equipment in to be replaced. How can this be possible if there is no line connected to my house. I asked to file a complaint against the 7 am call when I was told I would get a call after 9am, and how can my equipment show on line when there is no line to the house. I was only told that she would relay the information to her supervisor. Spectrum is the worst at customer service.

I called to find out why I couldn't get channel 318 playing the Astros and Rangers game. I was told I couldn't get this the channel if I wasn't at my home. I am very annoyed that I am unable to watch a channel that I pay for. I figured out by my self that I could download the Bally Sports Network and watch my game. It seems that Spectrum could have helped.

Overcharged 900$

I been a customer for years in January there was 2 devices added to my account that wasnt mine spectrum charged me for them up til may I called numerous times to resolve this finally in June ther was someone who actually took time to help me and was able to verify my situation and remove the devices they took over 300$ a month from my account about 900$ more than my bill they returned 325 of course I wasnt satisfied called bac they asked my bank record I sent it then they said they owed me 630 more and will be be returned I am currently on the phone again they want to give me credit this is *** they didnt take credit why give me credit I want my money bac I am calling bbb and pissed consumer today

About a month ago I called to give them a moving order to begin July 1 2023. I was given information that it would be a $29.95 service charge to transfer which I thought was ridiculous. The new place already had equipment and owner was willing to just transfer over. Anyway apparently it transferred over on the 1st of June instead. When I went into the office in DHS, three different people were completely unable to help me. They said that I had service at both the old address and the new address and that now there would be a charge at the new address. I still have service at the old address as I have not moved yet, not until July 1 2023. But what upset me was that the young lady told me that she could not help me that I would have to actually call back and speak to someone on the phone because it would look like she was trying to take the commission if she fixed the order. There was a nice gentleman next to her that attempted to help but then got a customer of his own. Later a manager young man came over and told me the same thing she did, that I would have to actually call and talk to a representative on the phone since that's how I placed the original order. They didn't seem too upset that I was upset. Then I called on phone like instructed and Michaela completely fix the situation and said they could have as well in office. She also told me that there is NO transfer moving charge unlike the first rep. Michaela was GREAT and very knowledgeable.

*** poor store manager section

Returning Spectum equipment at store, Manger Gilbert refuse to take it. 10 minutes another customer bought in the same equipment return no questions. Then right after that another customers returning equipment no question ask drop off. Then Gilbert called the police to trespass me to returning equipment that belongs to Spectrum. If that manager can't deescalate, Gilbert M. Need to be fired, makes Spectrum look bad in public. Bell Gardens, Ca. Worst customer service experience lost customer forever. Wonder if equipment was return with the oters???

About 50 minutes ago we agreed to the 25 page document's terms. Neither one of us had time to read it all, but we wanted our phone service back.

Charter - Spectrum's tactics worked, our phone is now working. However, their strong-arm tactics in taking our phone service...

Spectrum has deliberately dropped our phone service, called voice, and is threatening to drop ALL of our services if we don't sign some agreement that we didn't even know we had to sign!! No prior notice was given to us nor any time given to look over the agreement to sign. The phone rep even LIED to us that 911 was still active. It isn't. I tried it. According to the phone rep, Spectrum is doing this to many other customers: dropping phone or other services, without prior notice, in order to force customers' compliance to sign the agreement NOW. All present customers should find this behavior abhorrent. All potential future customers should be warned that home phone, or any other Spectrum service(s), may be cut at any time without prior notice, to force compliance with whatever is Spectrum's whim of the moment. @Ask_Spectrum wrote a DM to me at 5:17am saying this: "I understand. We will do the right thing." That's very hard to believe at face value considering that Spectrum has threatened to drop ALL of our services in addition to our home phone service in order to coerce us into signing something that shouldn't be necessary to sign at all!! Join Spectrum. Have your services held hostage to coerce you into doing whatever the *** Spectrum wants you to do. LIE about...whatever...in an effort to mollify aggrieved customers. I got another DM from @Ask_Spectrum at 8:24am. This is what I wrote back: You wrote, "I understand you have agreed to the terms in the past but sometimes the terms change or the way your account is set up is changed and you will need to agree to them again to continue service." Even if what you say is true, why coerce customers into signing this by taking away service(s) without any prior notice? We weren't sent any agreement. We weren't told we had a certain amount of time to sign before services would be dropped. Phone service was simply removed and your phone rep threatened ALL services would be removed. He also lied about 911 still working. No prior notice. No time to read and sign. You actually think that was the right thing to do? I received a new DM from @Ask_Spectrum that reads: "It is always required to agree to the terms of service to use any providers service, it is no more coercion than a store requiring you to pay for goods "or else" you are not allowed to leave the store with them." To which I wrote: The store gives you time to go through the registers to pay for your purchases before you leave. What time was given to us to sign before phone service was removed and other services threatened to be removed? NONE. Apparently, you still think Spectrum's actions are meritorious. I wonder how many paying customers and potential future customers would agree with you?

Avoid This Company - Totally Horrible!

Spectrum is now 3 companies merging into 1, Spectrum-Time Warner Cable-Charter Communications. This has gone horribly wrong and this company has no business being in business. Huge problems: 1. Lies to customers to get their business, making promises they can't keep including pricing, credits that disappear, and will do anything to convert you to Spectrum from your current provider. Don't dot. If you are still Time Warner Cable do not convert to Spectrum, do not give up your DTA, do not believe anything they say to coax you out of it. Once you go Spectrum, and see/hear how horrible the service is, they do not let you go back. I trusted their cable box would be better quality than my current DTA. It sucks, and when I asked for it to be restored to the DTA they would not do it and wanted to charge me $7.50/month for the *** cable box instead of zero for the DTA. They also knew that the digital cable box would not work well with my analog television, did the install anyway, the sound quality now sucks, and they cannot fix it. Here is their "solution" from the retention department: buy a new digital TV to fit their box! How stupid. 2. Miscommunication. Company provides contradictions, misstatements, makes things up as they go along for their own benefit (not yours!), and will cheat you to get your money. Whether purposeful or not, the result is you get screwed and they walk away without resolving your issue - unless you complain to the Better Business Bureau, FCC, Attorney General's office, etc. to get their attention. This company as currently constituted is a class-action suit waiting to happen, imo. They also say they will call you back an don't. They don't care, and now neither do I. 3. Incompetence. So many times the company could not do a simple task, made huge mistakes, asks the customer to chase down their errors and resolve them on your own. They want you to do their job for them and the dirty work, which is their job to do. Many people there are good and capable, but you also have several rude *** who are lazy, unprofessional, unethical, and disconnect you which is against company policy and they should be fired for it. Always complain above them so there is a record of it. 4. Proof that Spectrum is a Work in Progress, Sucks, And Should Not Be Dealing With The Public Until They Get Their Act Together: Charter Communications stock cratered a few months ago, there are numerous complaints like this one online and elsewhere, the company has a massive survey out to find out WTF is going on (and I don't mean WednesdayThursdayFriday although these might be the only days your service works), and the have a Retention Department because so many people are fleeing they are trying to catch them before they disconnect. Then they make promises they can't keep, despite them being on recorded lines, and will outright lie to you. This happened to me multiple times and is going into a report I am escalating beyond their company so the issues can hopefully be remedied from the top down. Retention can give you more than other departments, but be wary of their offers - which they will not put in writing. If they promise you something they cannot do, they just drop it, hope you don't notice, and don't give it to you unless you do and complain/escalate. Totally disgusting! 5. Illegal Bait and Switch. They took my DTA that was working fine, told me that I must change over to their cable box to get the Spectrum signal/that it will work better, and then provided a *** result that is the worst sound I have ever had emanating from any device I have ever had. They refused to change it back, give a refund, or do anything else about it. It is worth a small fraction of what they are charging me for it. As mentioned earlier, their digital box is too strong for my analog television so they combine for a poor sound quality. Did they know this ahead of time? If so, why didn't they tell me so I could keep the DTA which worked better with my television and I would have kept. The sound now is muffled, and is much like a piece of dust on your stylus needle riding over a vinyl record. They gave me some nonsense about why they can't restore me to the DTA, which I totally d o not believe. Once again - it is all about what's best for Spectrum, and not you. This is not a customer friendly company, you are just a revenue target, and even if you have legitimate complaints they give you the runaround. If they are not going to fix their problems - which I gave them ample opportunities to do before I go above them - then I will have the government and others deal with them. I suggest you do the same. I highly recommend that you avoid Spectrum, complain above them to the government, legal authorities, and share your experiences online, among other measures you can take. I see the company as a colossal failure that should not be allowed at this time to operate serving the public. I will be pursuing this in other ways but wanted to warn you. My calls were listened to internally and I was called with apologies. Unfortunately, this is and was insufficient, but I am glad that my complaints were vetted and verified by a supervisor who heard them for herself and was astonished at what I stated above. Several reps told me that they are customers too and would be very angry if it happened to them. Anyone would be. I hope that Spectrum is stopped from doing business now until it is vetted and verified by the authorities. Do not do any business with them while they are in this state of disarray, selfishness, and possible criminal activities.
