A total batch of lies

Updated by user Aug 30, 2019
I was promised two free solar panels if I would recommend SolarTek to another customer. I did and SolarTek was awarded $80,000 commercial job.

After many requests for my two free solar panels I got tired of listening to Brant's lies so I gave up.

My friend who used SolarTek for the commercial job is three years into installation, and they still do not work. He cannot get any answer from Brant.

Promises made and promise broken. I'm wondering if Brant has a heartbeat. There is nothing positive to say about the representation of this company. If your rep has an 843-3**-**?? number then find another company to provide your solar needs.

Solar Tek needs to cancel Brants Contract! His Rep Is a liar and refuses to refund $2250.00. My agreement was signed before Thanksgiving! Work was to be completed in January. Sales person, said my total would be $4501.00 after all rebates. Now in Febuary they want $10,000.00 more! Iwant my $2250.00 back! I normally do all business in person I do NOT trust internet security. I asked salesperson to make all contact via US Mail or in Person, he said I never responded. since I do not look a email how could I, this organization needs to refund my money and close there doors. Since I am retired I think Tony was trying to rob me because I am old.

100% agree with other reviewers - BRANT PATTON is a SCAM ARTIST

Do NOT do business with these snakes. Everything that comes out of their mouths are lies. Their work is shoddy, there is no service after the sell, no way of reaching anyone except some arbitrary person who replies by email. When installing my solar panels ... they installed 6 months too late, cracked my driveway with their equipment, never followed up with anything. I was the one always pushing them to take the next steps to complete the project. Once you give them a deposit they will not return your deposit for any reason. Google brant patton and you will find he has outstanding lawsuits everywhere. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY !!!!

Solar hot water tank a waste of money

We had a solar hot water heater installed five years ago. Our electric bill doubled the first month after it was installed; when we complained they discovered they never turned the system on. Next we found out that the Solartek contractor who installed it connected the hot and cold water pipes backwards. The tank started leaking at the connection, we had to fix that ourselves. We now have a lot of pressure buildup in the smaller tank (not sure what that's called); have had to turn the system off. The local Solartek company has gone out of business, don't know what to do next. And...We have never seen anywhere near the savings promised.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM AS A SUPPLIER, FRANCHISEE OR AS A CUSTOMER.

WATCH OUT from this snake: The CEO of SolarTEK Energy, Brant Pattan is Scam Artist. He has scammed hundreds of thousands of Dollars from his Franchisees ( the guys who actually invested at different cities their money to be his partners), suppliers and customers alike. The main company 'SolarTEK Energy' is not even a corporation or an LLC registered in United States, The company shows up in his wife's name as a foriegn entity outside USA, so one cannot even get him or this company to a court of law. So when he runs with your money, the courts have no place to serve him with a legal notice. The published address he has for SolarTEK Energy goes to an empty rental business on the border of North Carolina and/or South Carolina. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM AS A SUPPLIER, FRANCHISEE OR AS A CUSTOMER. If anyone out there has any information on where to serve this scammer, please publish it here.

Solartek products and services

solartek fronted by a crook named brant patton who at one time resided around Summerville, sc has these very high pressure sales presentations where they push a power optimizer. not only did this device not perform, I had it examined by a very educated and experienced electrical engineer who informed me that there is no way this device will ever optimize power use not alone save electricity. the device malfunctioned and almost caused my house to catch fire and when I tried to contact the company, no response. I tried numerous times to contact the company and was told at one time that they were out of business. if you look them up on the internet they have a website pushing now solar energy panels, an even bigger scam.

SolarTek Scam

SolarTek International is made up of a bunch of traveling scam artists. They set up dinners and invite retirees and show them their products. Their products look great at the presentation. Then they come to your home and push you into purchasing their products. They make statements about the savings that you will achieve with their products. According to EnergyStar their products do not do what they say they do. I did some checking with the contractors board here in California and found out that the electrical device that they installed on my house needed to be installed by a licensed Electrical contractor. Well...They do not have any licence in California, then I did some further checking and they also do not have a license in any state. I have reported them to the state of California and they are going to investigate them. I also called the finance company that financed my purchase and advised them about the lack of licensure. This company offers a money back guarantee but does not stand behind it. The installers and salespeople are extreemely unprofessional. If you recieve one of their dinner invitations in the mail, throw it away, a cheap dinner is not worth the headaches that they will give you. Bottom line, Do not do any business with these people and if you already have, call their main office and demand your money back. Thank you for reading.
