Bad Hao cut

Discrimination

was discriminated during interviewing process and re-hire process. New manager is not trained and has poor judgment. She based her interview off my past and never asked me about it. Between HR and the new management the two of them Lied to me about returning to the salon. I was accepted told to come back in Monday. Then an hour after the interview I got an unprofessional text message saying they werent moving forward with me. I reached out to find out why because Im more then qualified and they based it off my past. From nearly 4-5 years ago. She never asked me about it during the interview. Lied to me and told me to come back Monday. Then her and HR MUST have had a chat about me in the most negative manner. I told the new manager I was autistic, and she told HR I was aggressive. She told me on the phone I told her I was aggressive thats a lie. I said autistic. So I being discriminated upon due to my intellectual disability as well as being lied about. She told me on the phone that felt sorry for me and they were never going to hire me. If thats the case. Why did they have me download ADP and do onboarding ??? The new HR is worse then Robyn. And the new management at smart style Waynesboro is worse then the manger they had prior. No one is trained. I was viewed as competition. There are 7 stations in that salon and she told me there wasnt enough money to be made. She doesnt understand that I can build my tickets. My tickets are my paycheck. She shouldnt bed worried about what I can do. She should have been happy to have me on board. I have over 10 years experience and master skilled at every service. This company doesnt know how to run a salon. Let alone care about the Waynesboro store. Im contacting the health department as well. Health code regulations are at risk. There is dirty implements and no barbarcide. Why wont the company get the items they need to run it professionally. Do a background check on your manager like you did me. I cant believe this company. Not only that but your online training videos are also discriminating. I have piercings tattoos and unkept hair. Thats my style. How dare a company whose job it is to make others feel good about themselves tear down people like me. Industry doesnt give a *** about special needs. Terrible. I want justice in this matter and a legit reason as to why we cant move forward. Managment lacks communication all together. Lattrice asked for a phone interview at 12 and then didnt even answer and called me back close to 6. Goes to show she doesnt have her priorities together. How you gonna set and appointment and then no show. This company is terrible I will never apply again if its going to continue to discriminate. Racist stores doesnt even service black people. Like its *** all the way around.

Desperate/Out of control Staff

Great Clips on Albert Pike temporary closed to go help our sister store at Cornerstone. So the Smart Style Stylist thought it would be a great idea to completely cover our sign explaining to our returning customers whats going on. Our customers explained they thought it meant our staff was over at SmartStyles they go over to your salon and they CLOSED! So when I finally call the manager to talk to him about it. All he can say is they spelt my name wrong. Second he just asked well why are yall closed first of all how would he even know how is name was spelled if he didnt know the staff did that? No apology for what he allowed his staff todo. I can understand being desperate enough to put the sign on the door to get customers, but the fact that they completely covered our sign explaing to our returning customers is beyond disrespectful. He did say he wouldnt appreciate if I put a sign up saying if Trey isnt there to come see us at great clips! Also I think its unprofessional that I cant find a corporate number to talk to someone about this, I have to fill out a form and you literally ask for proof of purchase from your customer!

Complaint of service received

Went to Mt Vernon il smart style for appointment. Stylist name was Jamie. Was gonna get a cut and color. Stylist asked details about what I was wanting done. I didn't answer immediately and she says why are you looking at me with 2 heads? She tells me the cut and color will be $171. I decide to just get a cut. She tells me to go sit in the chair. She walks over to me and tells me to get up. Yelling at me accusing me of moving her salon chair. She called me a liar and told me she will not cut my hair. I was not gonna have her cut my hair anyway.. She was so unprofessional and disrespectful. As I was leaving the store I asked for the cooperate number. She said she did not have to give it to me and she didn't care if I report her and that I can have her license. She ran out of the store yelling for security leaving the store unattended

I specifically said hair could not be shorter than shoulder length, Stylist Raquel’s Velasquez. Supervisor was Casey. I have filed a complaint with DBPR.

Complaint

Went to smartstyle Nevada,mo to get a hair cut it was around 2:30 when I went in the girl was standing around taking to another worker after sweeping hair I stood there for a while even a buddy came up and talked about a tattoo for 8 or so mins before she came over and asked can I help you I said I want to get a haircut told me Id have to wait till 3:30 I said *** with that because she wasnt doing anything till after 3pm my hair is short would of took 15 mins to cut but she decided to stand around instead i could of been out by 2:50 unless she is slow so I left called the store number and asked for corporate number for my complaint she got rude with me said talk to my manager the manager got on the phone and said well you was rude to her and threatened me with well you dont want her cutting your hair after you was rude to her I didnt know that I saying *** with that and walking out is being rude to the girl when I didnt address it to her in anyway i just couldnt wait and them standing around for a few when they both seen me walk in and was having there little time talking in the corner the manager threatened me over the phone pretty much saying that I dont want her cutting my hair because she would mess it up on purpose because supposedly I was rude well saying *** with that and walking out nothing else said to her or addressed to her isnt being rude I just aint gonna wait on a place that didnt care to come help me when I first came In even whenI had a my buddy come up and talk to me about a tattoo for 8 mins or so while waiting on them I dont appreciate that and she was very rude to me because I asked how to complain about them and where to call for corporate

Bad customer service

First of all, I got a bad haircut I was willing to except that when they got finished my hair I went to pay for it and he asked me to press a tip. I press three dollars for a tip and it made him mad so he asked me to put my card back in he said it did not go through and then he charge me for a blow dryer and shampoo and style that I did not get he charge me $49 for running my hair. I have been trying to contact everybody at SmartStyle to get them to help me. I dialed 911 when the woman would not give me the money back on the blow, dry shampoo and style I didnt get. I told her I would pay for the haircut, but I was not paying for something I didnt get. She then proceeded to tell me that I was paying by the hour that it took him almost 2 hours to do my hair because hes knee . I have never been ripped off and done so poorly in my entire life than your salon done me in Alexander City Alabama. The boys name was Chad Leonard and I do not know the womans name that was so rude to me but I made a police report and she refused to give me the money back but the services I did not get I am now asking for the whole $49 back because all of this happened on Saturday, July 8 And I contacted customer service and theyre supposed to be taking care of this and I have not heard a word back from them

Horrible Customer Experience

Can not reach anyone. General manager is as far as it gets.

She didn’t want to do anything but put me back in chair more product applied to hair that I said several times I wasn’t interested in redo. Especially after Natalie my stylist messed my hair up.

She was not getting another chance to mess me up more. I wanted my money back.

I did not get the color I asked for. My hair color was not all over my hair several spots in my head where color wasnt applied. The caramel /blonde bled into my red. Stylist was very rude and was making excuses as to what I couldve done to cause the affect. Cut my hair it is now uneven and not the shape it was. General manager was of no assistance what so ever. No way to contact cooperation. Couldnt even get a legible receipt. Bad customer service! You get what you get kind of business.

They messed up my haircut bad

Had to go to another hair salon for my son's hair and pay another $25 to have the haircut done correctly mine wasn't so bad so I wasn't worried about it but my hair was not faded as well as it was supposed to be. I do have pictures. Unfortunately no receipt but I have a bank statement proof so I paid $53 for haircuts for both me and my son

They don’t know how to do their job very well also very, very poor customer service not sure how she is a manager

Breanna colored my hair it didnt come out as I wanted or even what she expected. She then told me to come back anytime to get a redo at my convenience. I went back a week and a half later for her so called boss lady told me I had to pay again. I wasnt happy at all and told her that Breanna had even talked me into paying for a conditioning treatment so when I came back everything was paid for. Well now I have spent 150.00 to have a hairstyle I didnt even wont. They must have done this sort of thing before. They wonder why they dont have clientele. I told them I was going to call and complain her response was Im the big boss so it doesnt even matter.

My hair is destroyed

I asked for a specific color and highlights and a very simple cut. I asked for a layered cut like in the last photo that I uploaded below and had showed her. She had cut my hair to look like a pixie mullet. I am so upset and irate that I paid so much money and didnt get a receipt because their computer was down. Now I have to pay more to get my hair fixed the cut and the color. All I want is my money back for all the time and frustration this has caused me.

Sad service

I got haircut at Walmart supercenter in Las Vegas. I sat in the chair with half a haircut for a half hour waiting for her to come back from helping with the customers. I miss my appointment that that was terrible and then she charged me 25 bucks for this haircut. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible

Hair color messed up

I went to a smartstyles in our local Walmart and told the girl I wanted ash blonde with ash brown low lights my hair already had ash blonde in it with a dark blonde shadow root she bleached my whole head left it on for over an hour it was orange/gold and white so she toned it still orange/gold and white so she toned it again still orange/gold and white she never put no brown in it and it looks horrible and its fried she also bleached my brand new Hollister hoodie I told her I felt like my hoodie was out of the Cape and she said it wasnt. She was dressed very unprofessional with a netted crop top and jeans and bedroom slippers. Ive tried to contact customer service and just get a recording Ive sent a email I want my money back. She didnt give me a receipt but I did use my credit card.
